Positive aspects of the product (pros): Get up and personal to some sharks Cons: Water very cold
I think to enjoy this attraction you need to do it twice. The first time I did it I was shocked at how cold the water was, in shocked I mean it shocked my body temp, this made me rush across the pool and not really enjoy the experience. The second time I took a little longer to get used to the coldness of the water.
You can only go across one way and not go back on yourself.
I enjoyed it I just wish the pool was a little longer in length.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Fun, unique experience Cons: a bit chilly
This is a fun way to go snorkeling without the rip tides and big waves to contend with. Lots of different fish and sharks to view here. The water is chilly because it's set for the fish, not people. It's definitely worth checking out.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Very cool attraction! Cons: Not long enough
This is my favorite attraction at Typhoon Lagoon and is very unique. After a brief "lesson" you enter the pool and float across looking for fish/sharks.
I particularly recommend this experience to first time snorklers. It is an easy, no cost way to practice snorkeling. To an experienced snorkler, this attraction may seem lame. But to a first timer, its a great beginning experience.

This attraction is unbelievable. The fish are amazing to look at and the sharks give you a bit of that adrenaline rush. Salty cold water can be a bummer but power through for a one-of-a kind experience.

We were very excited about doing this from the moment we chose to visit TL. We were very surprised at just how cold 70 degrees is in water. I was breathing so quickly due to the freezing water, that I kept fogging up my mask! We didn't have much time to see anything b/c we were told to not stop along the way and to swim straight across. I think next time I will just go to the viewing area instead.
Everyone should try this once, but I think I'll pass next time.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great experience, fun, wait time minimal (during our visit) Cons: Getting used to water, 'flow' of people in front, behind you during your 'float'
After some hestiation on the part of my 9 and 14 year olds, we decided to get in line. Glad we did. In fact, this was one of the highlights of our family vacation. As others have suggested, doing this at least twice is the key, since the first time it takes some getting used to. Much has been made of the water temperature. It's not a heated pool, and it is salt water. But on a warm day, the water is refreshing. This is a great place to use an underwater camera (but don't buy at the waterpark-you'll pay twice as much). We saw plenty of fish, stingray, shark, ect. Highly recommend, but you'll need to be a fairly strong swimmer as to use only your arms (they tell you not to use your feet since there are people behind you, and you may kick them).
