This is my favorite part of Typhoon Lagoon. It is so relaxing and even when the park is full, it seems peaceful.
As a cancer survivor, I have had many tests and procedures and when they say relax and think of your happy place, this is it for me!

I love this part of Typhoon Lagoon. It's relaxing and fun, plus you don't have to wait in line for this one! Also, it's a never-ending river, so you can relax in your innertube as long as you like. The exits are marked well, too, so you know where to get out (if you remember where you got in!).
The lush, tropical foliage (and pretty flower blossoms that drop into the water) really adds to the island feel of the lazy river.

I love floating in Castaway Creek just letting the current take you along. The water is warm enough not to shock you when you get in. Remember to note the name of the entrance where you get in so that you know where to get out!
The only thing I don't like is when groups (mostly kids) play games in the Creek. They like to connect their tubes together and race through the Creek as fast as possible. Else, they play games of tag often splashing each other and those around them. I realize this is fun for them, but the attraction is advertised as a LAZY River. I wish the cast members would stop them from rough-housing in the Creek.

We like this lazy river, once we were in it. We had a very hard time finding tubes for all four of us when getting in at crowded times.

This is great when it is not crazy-crowded. A relazing way to travel and lots of fun things to look at in the way of theming. Keep an eye/hand on your child's tube as it is easy to get separated. A must-do at Typhoon Lagoon.

This is a relaxing journey around the park. It took us about 45 minutes to make the entire trip. We should have saved this for last b/c we didn't want to get out to do anything else. It was very peaceful, and tropical setting makes it even more appealing.

There are many points to enter and exit. Finding an inner tube can be difficult during busier periods.

This creek was much dirtier than the one at Blizzard Beach: lots of grass floating in it. I found it longer and the exits more confusing as well.
Typhoon Lagoon was laid out in a confusing manner, and the signs were not at all helpful.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Slow, Relaxing, Enjoyable Cons: kids :)
To me, this is the BEST aspect of Typhoon Lagoon. I could spend hours lazily floating around the park in this 'lazy' river! Besides the crazy kids bumping you as the 'run' by, it is a welcomed escape!
