Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin is a blast! It's a great attraction that will please the entire family.
I wanted to mention motion sickness issues in particular. I was initially afraid to ride this attraction since the word "spin" is in the name. I avoid attractions like the tea cups like the plague, as they make me quite ill. Riders control the direction/spinning of their car with their own joystick, so this ride doesn't spin unless you make it spin. I thought that might be helpful to those with motion sickness issues.

Our family just LOVES this ride. We love the theming, and of course the competition. It's fun pointing your lazer pointer throughout all of the toy story scenes and trying to rack up points to beat your opponent. Kids of all ages can ride so we enjoy riding it together as a family. There are hidding "high point" items throughout the ride so we always have fun finding those and beating eachother.
This is a super popular ride so you want to grab a fast pass for it instead of waiting in the long line!

This is a fun ride for all ages. It's brightly lit, colorful and really brings out your competitive side.
The one negative Space Ranger Spin has is the stationary laser cannon. In Disneyland, you are able to remove the laser cannon from its position which gives you more flexibility when aiming for those hard to reach targets!

We love this ride!! Good fun while blasting aliens. This is also one of our favorite pictures to bring home from the parks. I think we have at least one from every trip. Picture is snapped towards the end!

This is a great ride to compete on with your kids. Some how my daughter always wins. If you aim for the further away targets you get more points. They even take your picture on the ride!

We love this ride! It's suitable for everyone from the very young to the not so young. It's one of our favorite ride pictures, especially when you forget the camera is there and you can see the intensity in your kids faces. The line is sometimes long, but the CM's do a great job of moving you thru quickly. The line cue also has some fun hidden Mickey's to find.

Good for all ages. Shoot at targets as you move through the ride. I never can see where I am shooting so my scores are horrible. I don't like it as much now that Toy Story Mania is open, but its still a good ride.

A great ride, one of my Disney favorites. The line in the inside is sometime cramped and extremely hot, but its worth the wait. A must ride if you visit the Magic Kingdom.

This ride could be so much better. Simple cardboard cutout style targets, but kids love shooting everything possible. Even though its not the best ride of its type, it is still fun. I pulled off a 999,999 on my last trip!

Love competing with my family on this very interactive ride. One can get really high scores when the ride stops while you are still on it. High repeatability, since one can always try to better their score.

A very enjoyable ride, which is different every time. You and your loved one may fight over the spinner joystick, but that's part of the fun!

Pretty disappointing ride without much going on. This is done slightly better in the new Toy Story shooter in Hollywood Disney Studios but not much.
If you'd like to see what this ride looks like when it's done extremely well take a trip over to Universal for Men In Black, Alien Attack. Disney, take note here, THAT'S how it's done.

This is a great way to shoot Zorg and all of his evil minions! We usually split the family in to 2, me and my daughter against my son and wife and see who wins at the end. My daughter loves spinning the cart, and you cant forget about the photo op with Zorg as you leave.

Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger's Spin is a great, interactive ride that is really enjoyed by kids of all ages. The queue line moves quickly (gotta love the quick-load rides!) and the concept is simple - shoot at the targets!
The ride is beginning to show its age, or its high use - it is not uncommon to get a car with one or both guns not working well or not working altogether.

A great family interactive attraction. So many targets to shoot at it can be overwhelming. After riding several times you learn where the high value targets are located.

Buzz Lightyear is a lot of fun for everyone. It gets you competitive against each other while you are experiencing a ride, which you partly control. It could be better, but it's still a lot of fun as it is.

If you've been on Men in Black Alien Attack at Universal, you'll understand why I feel this ride is bland.

A fun ride with decent re-rideability since everyone wants to improve their score. The guns can be hard to aim since they're attached to the ride vehicle, and can be sticky/dirty/gummy depending on who was there before you.
I find the flash for the on-ride photo in the 'giant Zurg' room to be really bright and the way they force the car to position for the photo, it goes off right in your eyes. If you're sensitive to strobe flashes, close your eyes before the last room (unless you're desperate to buy the picture at the end - I prefer no migraine to an overpriced photo, myself).
