Hard to find a table at lunchtime

Lunch here is here is much healthier than normal theme park fare. I was able to get a rotisserie chicken entree instead of the usual burger and fries. It was cooked well and quite tasty, as were the mashed potatoes and corn (not healthy, but they really hit the spot). On another trip to the World, I had a grilled vegetable panini here that was also quite tasty.
Because we were on the Disney Dining Plan (DDP) on our last trip, we sampled Sunshine Seasons desserts. The strawberry shortcake was delicious. We also tried an Asian chocolate cake that my husband and I both took one bite of and threw away. The name, apparently, was more intriguing than the item itself which had an odd spice added to it that did not belong in cake.
Great value for Disney, even if you're not on the DDP.

After all of the burgers and fries, funnelcakes and ice cream, my family craves this location. My kids love to go get some grapes, milk and just rest in the cool atmosphere while dad rides on soarin. The entres are good, but we prefer to just get some healthy snacks and rest mid day. Prices are reasonable on the ala cart fruit options.

If your family is going to different counters to select food, keep track of everyone! We love the different options that appeal to everyone. It can be a bit noisy since SOARIN traffic is close by.

This is my favorite counter service in all of Walt Disney World. There were six of us eating on the dining plan and all of us found something we wanted to eat. Let me just tell you that the roasted beet salad is amazing. I always get it and I am never disappointed.
We also ordered the Mongolian beef, Chicken salad, & Turkey on focaccia. Let me just say that there was nothing left. The food is fresh and tasty and quick. I also got the corn chowder which was fresh, and creamy. You should try it if they have it. The only disappointing thing was the desserts. The chocolate chip cookies were ok, the butterfinger cheesecake was good and probably the best thing we had all day. The key lime pie is not appetizing. For those of you that like merangue, this pie is for you. For those of you, like me that need whipped cream, forgo this for sure.

This is the best counter service in all of Walt Disney World in my opinion. They have different foods, great selection, and the food is fresh. I believe part of the food used at this location is taken from the Living with the Land attraction next door.
There is a lot of seating on the 1st floor of the Land Pavillion. Also, you can refill your fountain drink as much as you wish during your visit. If you are in Future World at EPCOT around lunchtime make sure to skip the Electric Umbrella and head over to the Land pavillion to give Sunshine Seasons a try.

Probably in my Top 5 for counter service. I find it a must to get a healthy meal in during the trip. I just don't like the food court feel, I may as well be at the mall.

We loved Sunshine Seasons. The selection is great and you can't beat the price for the large portions. We usually end up splitting meals here b/c of thier size. We didn't discover this place until last year and can't beleive we have went all this time without eating here. We would recommend it to anyone as there is something to please everyone in your party.

This place is definitely better then most table services we have had.
We went back twice and had the salmon with kalamata spread, yummy veggies and wonderful strawberry shortcake. Great food. We shared a table the second time with strangers and really had a nice time. Great cast member working there too. Made sure to clean the tables fast for waiting guests.

A Do-not-miss Break from Burgers and Frys

Cons:

Can be Crowded and Noisy
|

A great place to go when you couldn't scarf down another burger on a bet.
Although I think that I take a backseat to no one in my All-American Red-Blooded meat and potatoes guy-hood, I must shamefully admit that after a couple of days of theme park counter service burgers, I am ready to say no mas. At these shameful times Sunshine Seasons' wide variety of tasty lighter and, dare I say, healthier options are a best bet.
False bluster and bravado aside, to date it is my favorite theme park counter service restaurant. If you can't find something here that you like you can't be really trying. A lot of other people seem to agree with me as it can get very crowded. You may have to leave a person to hold a table while other party members order their food.
One other tip is to leave room for dessert as they have the widest selection of delicious dessert items of any counter service restaurant known to me in all of Disney World. World.

We ate lunch here before heading over to the World Showcase. It's definitely nice to see some healthier options in the World, other than the usual burgers, fries, and chicken fingers.
The offerings included rotisserie chicken, fish, Chinese, and sandwiches. I checked out the fish and Chinese food, but the salmon looked very overcooked and the Chinese food looked similar to what you'd find in your local mall food court.
I had a grilled vegetable sandwich and some grapes. The only real downside to this food court is because of the high volume, you can't give special requests. If a sandwich has mustard or mayo on it- that's it- that's how it comes. So the vegetables had mustard on them which was definitely weird.
It was difficult to find a seat. This place gets packed at lunchtime. Expect to have to scope out a spot.
The food was good, if a little pricey. It was definitely nice to have a break from all those burgers.

This is the creme de la creme of counter service restaurants. This is not your standard burgers and fries place. There are soups, sandwiches, asian selections, rotisserie chicken, a dessert section, salads, and much, much more. We always eat here for lunch when we're in EPCOT.
The only downside to this location is how crowded it gets, especially because of how close to the Soarin' attraction it is.

This seemed like a cut above counter service. The salmon was among the best meals we had on our last trip.
While the crowd was heavy, it was well worth it. The kids' meals were also in abundant variety.
We were very happy with this choice and will make it on our next trip.

I stopped at the food court and had sort of mixed reviews. Everything that looked good I didn't order. I thought I'd try the stirfry. Disappointing and almost lachoy-standard. My friend, though, had some seared tuna on a salad that was quite delicious. So . . mixed reviews.

We eat here every time we visit Epcot. The selections are great. The sandwiches are top notch and are a relative bargain for the portions. It is very crowded, but we always seem to find a seat. There is only 1 elevator for this building so there is usually a line.

We don't eat anywhere else in FW. There are choices to suit everyone, the prices are fine, and you can eat a heavy or light meal. It is a bit difficult if everyone in your party doesn't want the same thing because it is a food court. You have to pay at each ordering station separately. So soup and salad is paid for separately from cookies and ice cream or sandwiches.

This is by far one of the best CS places to eat. I have had both breakfast and lunch there and you know everything's fresh because you can see them making the food. They have great breakfast sandwiches on croissants and for lunch usually have things like beef stir fry and 1/2 chicken meals. One of my favorite things here is the wide selection of desserts and beverages. I highly recommend eating here. There is also lots of seating and is a good place for people watching as well.

My traveling partner has a limited tastes in food, so much of the food in World Showcase was not acceptable. Here, we found enough to please that it was the first place we ate after getting off the plane and the last place we ate before heading back to the airport.
We enjoyed the stir fry from the Aisan section

There is somethig for everyone at this restaurant. We had dinner there April 2009 and everyone loved their food. My daughter had a pork chop dinner that was just fabulous comfort food, while I had an asian salad and my husband went for a foccacia sandwich. It was dinner time and not crowded. I would hate to try to negotiate all of the food windows/cases in a crowd. It would be hard to see all of the choices available. We also picked up some pastries for breakfast the next day. Those were yummy too! Everything is fresh and tasty. Check it out!

Sunshine Seasons is a tradition of ours to eat here when we are at Epcot. We like that there are lots of choices and the choices are quite different from your standard theme park food.
Depending on the time you are there the seating (which is alot) can be crowded.
My biggest con of the place is because there are so many choices at different bays that it is a bit confusing when you are on the DDP, so you have to go to different bays to get your entree and the desert and then to meet up with the rest of your party to check out.

Pretty much any kind of food choice available. Healthy, greasy, fatty, quick take a pick. Save room for desert, what a selection!, better yet start with desert then have a salad. Since the restaurant is next to Sorin it can be very noisy at the tables.

This is probably the ultimate in Disney Counter service options. In one area you are privy to a multitude of dining options that step outside the box in terms of normal counter service faire.
