Description: Tike's Peak is the area reserved just for the little ones. This kid-sized play are features scaled-down elements of Mt. Gushmore and includes a snow-castle fountain play area. The water in this entire area is very shallow and children must be under 4 feet tall to play. There is limited seating here, so save a spot early if you think this is where you'll be.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great atmosphere for young kids.
Cons: Gets crowded easily, not as fun for adults.

Young children seem to love the area. The area swells with people early but never a bad experience. Sometimes you will find a lack of good child hygiene.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Safe for the little ones, but with just enough thrill.
Cons: Limited seating - gets crowded early

This is a really great area for kids. There is so much more than a wading pool and a few sprinklers. She really enjoyed the slides and the lifeguards in the area really interacted with the kids and made the parents feel at ease.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): All of the rides manageable for my little ones
Cons: Can't see the kids from the bottom, need to go with them

Loved this area! there was enough variety for my little ones. They enjoyed this after we left pikes peak where things were a lot of work for my 5 year old and 3 year old. It was hard to see them at the top and I was lucky to have 2 adults so they did not have to stay together.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great enclosed location for tots
Cons: having to run up and down the hill for the tube ride

We tried both Blizzard beach and Typhoon Lagoon on our recent trip. BB is by far superior to TL for the preschool toddler set. It is more enclosed and easy to keep track of your children in comparison to TL. The tube slide is alot of fun for the little ones and parents will get their exercise. It was very clean and much nicer than TL in our opinion.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Really great for the little ones!
Cons: None

Tike's Peak is the best kiddie play area that I've ever seen at a waterpark. Our DD used to love this area. There is a good variety of slides, including a couple long innertube ones. I felt that the lifeguards there were very attentive and kept the area safe.

There's a mini-version of most of the "grown up" rides in the rest of the park, so the little ones feel included in all the water park fun!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Perfect for pint-size guests
Cons: Can get crowded - watch for older kids

This area is just the right size for the most junior of the family. Your little one will feel right at home here and won't feel relegated to the kiddie pool. We have spent a couple of hours here and enjoyed our time immensely.

This area can get very crowded, and you do have to watch out for the older brothers and sisters.
