Description: This full serve restaurant has plenty of turn of the century charm with Victorian touches throughout. It's quite small and the menu is limited to soup, sandwiches, burgers and salads.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Ice Cream Parlor!
Cons:

We don't leave WDW without eating at The Plaza. The food is great, while the menu is smaller, the range of options is great. Ice cream for dessert. Perfect meal.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Amazing views of the castle. Great place to sit on a hot day.
Cons: Very hard to get reservations due to small size.

If you happen to be at the MK for a special event, try to get the last table seating before the park closes. You can enjoy your dinner and when you are finished, walk out to to enjoy the event.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Quiet. Good simple food.
Cons: Small place

Went here on a last day before leaving for a trip. Got a seat by the window looking at TomorrowLand. Cute little more intimate but casual restaurant. Food was pretty good, simple.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): A hidden gem
Cons: Limited seating

This little known place has a wonderful menu. Its not fine dining by any means, just a nice sit-down meal. Service is quick and your drink is always filled. Unfortunately, the limited seating sometimes makes for long waits to be seated.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Simple food, great MK "secret"
Cons: small, so it can fill up quickly

This is a great place for plain, hearty, simple food like burgers, sandwiches, and ice cream. It's also a great place to take a break from the park, and, since not too many people think about this place, it's often easier to get in here than many other places in the MK.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great Menu Choices, Servers Were Outstanding, Nostalgic Atmosphere
Cons:

My daughter and I both enjoyed our lunch at The Plaza last summer. It was my daughter's birthday and they went well above and beyond to make her feel very special. The restaurant is so intimate that many other patrons were singing and clapping! She was exuberant the rest of the day!

The food was very good, great sandwiches and sides. I would recommend lunch at The Plaza to anyone! I also didn't feel that the prices were completely out of whack with reality.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Location, setting, prices
Cons: Relatively limited choices

I look forard to visiting the Plaza resturant -- both for the setting and the club sandwich. Easy to overlook, this small restaurant offers a nice lunch/dinner at reasonable prices for themepark dining. Every meal I've had here has been fresh and tasty. Not a lot of elbow room, but a very light and airy space in a great location at the end of Main Street USA.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Location, Food, Service
Cons: Small Restaurant, Can Get Warm

The Plaza is one of my favorites in the World. I've always had excellent service, the food is delicious and the view of the hub and castle is spectacular. It's a great place to relax in the middle of a hot day of park touring. I know a place is good when the servers don't let my iced tea glass go empty, and this is one of those places. The ice cream desserts are great too.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): A hidden gem
Cons: Limited seating

We walked past this resturant for many years and never gave it a thought. A limited menu but real good sandwiches and desserts. We go there primarly for lunch but if you had a lot for lunch you could do dinner here. The archeticture both inside and out fits right in with Main Street USA.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Good Food
Cons: Needs a touch of pizazz

I love The Plaza. Really good food, like the theme, just wish there was a bit more to it. I eat at The Plaza every trip, so nice to have choices other than hamburgers and hotdogs. Also it's rather quiet, a nice break from the hustle and bustle outside.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): delicious food, relaxing setting
Cons:

This is always our first meal of any trip! It's a great escape on a hot day to enter the relaxing Victorian setting of The Plaza. The food is great-I love the veggie wrap with a side of German potato salad. The chicken strawberry salad is my husband's favorite and my daughter enjoys the cheesesteak. The desserts and shakes look awesome but usually we are too full to enjoy them!
I recently looked at the menu online and the potato salad seems to be missing and replaced by broccoli slaw!! I love the potato salad and hope they bring it back!!!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): nice out of the way location
Cons: limited menu

This is a restaurant that I think is often times overlooked by people in the Magic Kingdom. I think it makes a nice spot to have lunch without the rush in the rest of the park.

On our last trip there, I was a little disappointed in the menu. It seemed even more limited that at other restaurants on property. Even with the limited menu, we found things we were interested in eating and had a nice meal.

During one trip several years ago, we were the "family of the day" and had the Mayor of Main Street stop in to speak with us and announce us to the entire restaurant. We also received a special sundae for dessert compliments of the restaurant and a "Magical Moments" certificate. Our kids thought this was a lot of fun.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great location - Good food
Cons: Limit menu

We really enjoyed our lunch here and will be sure to plan to go back on our next trip, but again for lunch. The sandwich menu does not really work with our dinning still for a dinner meal. We did enjoy the food and the location is very convenient.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great location, good sandwiches
Cons: Too expensive for what I got

I think that I will enjoy this restaurant more when I return again in July 2009. We ate there in June 2009 and everybody enjoyed their food. I didn't think I got my money's worth for my sandwich, though. I ordered the steak sandwich and it was very skimpy on the steak. The sandwich was good - there just wasn't enough meat on it. They also, for whatever reason, didn't serve it with the peppers or mushrooms that were listed on the menu. At the time, that bothered me, but it was a million degrees outside, I was already starving and I didn't want to wait to send the sandwich back.

The rest of my family enjoyed their food. My wife's club sandwich was huge! The fries were good. Not the typical CS fries - these were those thick steak fries. The service was great. The location even better! Everything would've been super had my sandwich lived up to it's $14 price tag. However, the next time I go back, I'm going to order the Angus burger and I'm sure that will be a hit.

All in all, I'd say it beats getting a burger at Pecos Bill's. The food is better quality than CS and only for a few dollars more. Add that plus Air Conditioning and not having to fight with the masses for a wobbly table and you've got a hit in the MK!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): good food
Cons: not a lot of tables and small menu

Ate there last week, 7/14. I got the chicken strawberry salad. It was excellent. The chicken was hot and not a cold chicken breast like I find in a lot of restaurants. My niece got the angus chuck hamburger and my mom got the tuna salad sandwich. Finally we split the the bannana split. Everything was really good and I would recommend The Plaza.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Yummy food
Cons: Too small, hard to get a ressie

Ate dinner here on Aug 15...tried to get a ressie and no luck, tried to walk up at 3pm and no luck. We walked up again at 5:30 and got right in!

The atmosphere is very pretty, our service was impeccable, the food was delish! DH had the cheesesteak minus the peppers and tbe broccoli slaw...it was awesome! I had the reuben and the corned beef was tender and not salty, the fries were the best I have ever had at WDW.

Would go back here before any CS thats for sure!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Classic Style and Perfect Setting for a sit down sandwich/dessert restaurant
Cons:

The best sandwich/dessert restaurant of all the theme parks. Portions are huge, however, best to share a sandwich plus a dessert unless you are ravenous.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Food was wonderful.
Cons: Service was the absolute worst of our entire trip!

Let me start off by saying the food was great.

The service, however, was atrocious.

We celebrated my son's 8th birthday on September 21st there. My son had on his birthday button, but was never acknowledged by the server at any point during the meal.

The server seemed annoyed that I asked for a fork that did not have remnants of the last meal still on it. He was also extremely slow in refilling our tables drinks.

But the absolutely clincher for this low rating happened as the server was leaving to process the ticket. He asked how I would be leaving the TIP, by charge or cash? Needless to say I was stunned. I told him not to worry I would be taking care of the tip. In all of my years of eating out I have never been asked this question by a server. Did I leave a tip? Yes, I did. I wanted to leave some tips on how to be a better server, but my wife made me leave actual money.
