Positive aspects of the product (pros): Fun
Cons:

I like it; it's comparable to Thunder Mountain. But I still like BTMRR better.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): smooth ride; even better at night
Cons:

I thought I didn't like rollercoasters since my early experiences with Space Mountain. I was sooooo wrong. This ride is smooth and fun! To our enjoyment, we stayed for EMH and it is twice the fun in the dark.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Lots of magic, great story line, big thrills
Cons: The big surprise can be hard to see

This is the best ride in any park, and you absolutely should not miss it. The first time we had a fast pass so we missed a lot of the really cool displays in the regular queue. When we went through again without a fast pass, seeing all the details was simply amazing. I love this whole area of Animal Kingdom, the attention to detail is truly incredible and the ride itself does not dissapoint. The only drawback for me was not being able to see the big yeti, he truly lives up to his illusive reputation. However, for all the work they put into making him they could give you a tiny bit longer glimse. I didn't even see him at all the first time. The strobes go really fast, so literally if you blink you miss it.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): EVERYTHING!
Cons:

One of the greatest rides ever! This ride is full of thrills and unexpected things. This is the place to start your day at the Animal Kingdom. Before you get in line get a fastpass because you'll want to get on it again. It's my absolute favorite ride.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Well themed and great coaster
Cons:

When taken for what it is, Everest is a great amusement ride. Full of twists and turns, it really represents what the future of themed coasters, and hopefully all coasters will be. While not extremely intense, it does a good job at telling a story while having it's recipients of said story fly by it at high speeds.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): one of disney's best attraction
Cons: long lines

I highly recommend getting Fastpasses for this ride, but if you don't, there is a lot to look at in the stand-by line so you won't be too bored. Anyways, this (along with Tower of Terror and Splash Mtn.) is one of Disney's best attractions. Going backwards makes you feel like you go upside down. It's awesome!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Amazing queue and coaster
Cons: Missing Yeti roar!

Fab rollercoaster with wonderful themeing in the queue. The first time you ride this you will be in for a fun surprise!

Too bad the Florida heat gets to the Yeti and most of the time he seems to hot to move much. The lines for this are very long.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Darkness
Cons: Going Backwards

I have only ridden this coaster once but I really enjoyed the ride it was a little scarry at times. I used a Fast Pass and didn't pay any attention to the queue, but I was told it is another attraction in it's self! Have fun!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): FUN!
Cons:

Expedition Everest is what I call the adult version of Disneyland's Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. It is a lot of fun. You get a different ride experience depending on where you sit. I've sat in the middle and the very end. I will tell you that at the end you get flipped around more and that makes it a lot more fun for me!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): The Yeti and the queue was awesome
Cons: Where was the drop?

The queue was themed in amazing detail. It makes the wait in line seem not so bad because you have lots of interesting stuff to look at.

When we were climbing up the giant hill I was waiting for this giant drop off and it just never came. The speed of the coaster was ok, but it just didn't seem all that thrilling. The going backwards theme was cool, but once again the speed just didn't seem fast enough. I have read in other reviews that the yetti was not functioning. I thought the yetti was amazing, so either it was working right, or I am easily impressed.

Overall the ride was ok. It just didn't live up to my high expectations.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Fun ride, great theming
Cons: yeti was diappointing

After watching the "Making of Expedition Everest" several times with my kids before going to the park, I was so excited to see the incredible anamatronic Yeti in action. On the ride, however, I could barely see the dimly lit yeti as we whizzed by. I was so disappointed after all the hype in the "Making of" special about how powerful and advanced the design was. Later I found out that the Yeti is broken and is likely not to be fully functional for years.

Disappointment about the stationary Yeti aside, the ride overall is incredibly themed and a very smooth and exciting adventure. If I hadn't been pre-hyped about the Yeti, I probably would have thought every part of it was great.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): classic Disney storytelling, just FUN
Cons: long lines, confusing queue for meeting friends

I LOVE this ride. WDW needed a wild mountain ride with a scary monster. Definitely not for little kids. You do not go upside down, which I like, but there is a big drop, which you can preview from outside the ride. It probably does not match RnRC for speed and g-forces, but the storytelling is classic Disney and we love it. There are some high tension moments that really add to the story. The Yeti effects are really fun, though I hear they sometimes have hiccups and aren't working.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great fun!
Cons: Riding while dark is terrifying

Lots of fun - great "train ride" roller coaster a la Big Thunder Mountain. Yeti is fantastic (and massive). Matterhorn + Big Thunder x Steroids = Expedition Everest.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): fun, well themed adventerous ride
Cons: Yeti doesn't work as it should

I didn't think of this as a roller coaster. It is not extreme as roller coasters are nowadays. It is nicely themed as though you are preparing to climb Mt Everest. The que line helps you prepare for the trek up the mountain. You vehicle moves you up and around and throuhg the mountain much faster than hiking! Great views, but look fast! A surprise as the Yeti blocks your trip, then you continue on your way. It is over too fast, it is way too fun!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): amazing view of the area
Cons: none

My favorite ride at WDW. We rode it several times at eveing EMH and it is totally different at night. The Yeti is easier to see and scarier and the view from the summit is amazing. Love the whole experience. The queue is great too.

Positive aspects of the product (pros):
Cons: motion sickness

Second best to Rock-N-Roller Coaster. Can make you very motion sick. Beware of people freaking out.
True story, I had to ride by myself with this Asian guy who spoke no English, and he FREAKS OUT on me on the ride. He actually had his head duck down between my legs and he was screaming his head off. He was grabbing my legs! I didn't know what to do. It kind of ruined the ride. We get off the ride and he falls to the ground and lays there! It was very weird!!! So BEWARE if you are a single rider!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): very exciting, riding backwards in the dark, steep drop
Cons: very transitory sighting of the yeti

A great thrill ride with many twists, although no inversions. The theming is spectacular. After all the references to the yeti in the queue line, you could easily miss it as you speed by if you blink.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Theming
Cons: borken yeti

Some of the best theming on Disney property, possibly the best queue area on Disney property. The only negative is that they Yeti is broken and has been broken for some time. Apparently, it will require a major repair to fix it and there is no scheduled repair so it could be broken for a very long time indeed. For those that don't know, the yeti used to move and swipe at the cars. It now doesn't move and there is a strobe light that hits it but most people on the ride don't even know that the yeti is there.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Extremely fun, great theming
Cons: Yeti not working often enough

I love this ride. The theming is beyond great and the ride is a blast. One of the best views of any of the parks comes when going up the large hill to start the ride. Everything about it is great except the length. It could be a bit longer.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Smooth, exciting, great cue
Cons: Only GREAT ride at AK

I've never been a big rollercoaster guy, but I could go on this one over and over (and thanks to a dream fast pass and the single rider line go to do once). The only problem is that it is really the best out of not much of a field of rides at AK, so everyone flocks there, making it pretty hectic. My 5-year old even rode it twice, it's that much fun! Then we had Mickey bars to celebrate our bravery...

Positive aspects of the product (pros): The Yeti, theming and thrill.
Cons: It goes backwards.

It would be a 10 for me if it didn't go backwards. A great, thrilling ride but if riding backwards makes you feel weird, you will want to skip it or at the very least, close your eyes.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Theming, exciting, thrilling
Cons: none

This is the type of ride that sets Disney in a class of its own. The theming is fantastic in its details as you wind your way through the cue to the ride. The ride itself is exciting and just scary enough for a good thrill.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great attention to detail
Cons: Yeti doesn't work

The coaster itself is pretty cool. The theming leading up to the ride was done very well. But unfortunately there was so much lead up to this "great Yeti" animatronic which is supposed to be the latest greatest technology and after being open for a couple of years now still doesn't work and is in "mode B".

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Best ride I have been on
Cons: none

This is possibly the best ride I have ever ridden. I have gone on a lot of different coasters and this is by far my favorite. If you go during extra magic hours in the morning and use your fastpasses right you can ride this at least 5 times in the first hour. I did. This is a must do! This ride makes the Animal Kingdon a park worth stopping at by itself.
