I am siting on the fence about this ride.Its great to find the many hidden secrets are in it and when the guide is good it can make this ride a lot more fun.That being said it also has an opposite effect when the guide is okay or bad and the animatronics look more like moving wax statues.This is a cult classic and while i would like to see a update to the movies I would also be satisfied with an update the the scenes and figures.

This is definitely one of those "seen it once, done it enough" kind of attraction for adults. This may be entertaining to kids around six to nine years old, depends on how well you know your kid and their response to "scary things".
The CMs acting jobs are cringe-worthy and painful. It's really, really cheesy. Not a "oh wow it's so cheesy it's funny." More like a "oh my god, they're actually trying" sort of cheesy.
The only reason I gave this a three is because the animatronics were so old and out of date that it was kind of funny. A "good cheesy" so to speak. I also always love the ending with the collage of all the classic and modern movies. It's so great.

I really did enjoy this... but then, I'm old enough to remember almost all the featured movies, or to get the references. With young kids who are likely to be scared by the storyline or not know what the movies are, probably better to skip.

This is a must do attraction for my family and I when we come to Disney. My parents do not do roller coasters so this is a great ride that we can all do together. I love any rides with a human cast member participating. And this ride is particularly interesting because the cast member interacts with animatronics along the way as well as other human cast members. Certain parts may be a little scary for children but I think they'll really like most of it, especially the Wizard of OZ scene.

I think your enjoyment on this attraction really depends on your driver/villain. We've had a great driver and really enjoyed it. We've also had a laughable villain and prayed for death while on this ride.

I love this ride! It is great for older generations that remember seeing these movies in theatres, and for their kids that watch those movies every Saturday morning. However, most young kids won’t understand or know most of the movies. That aside, the characters and scenes that come alive as you pass through them really set this attraction apart from anything similar to it. If the older kids don’t know the movies featured, than they may find this to be a very slow and boring ride. But, how could you complain when you get to sit down in air conditioning? That is a really nice thing to have after a long day in the Florida sun. Be advised that you probably will have to get-to-know-your-neighbor. This attraction generally has a long line, and the cast members will try to load as many people in a train as possible. This means that you will be touching people on both sides of you. Also, some actions occur that may frighten younger movie-goers. Seat them towards the edge so they can see all the magic, but you may want to have an adult between them and any of the characters to prevent crying, screaming, and accidental pant-wetting.

While the scenes from the movies are great for a film-dork like me, the cast member's attempt at acting out a story line is at times actually painful. If they could re-do it to get rid of the story line it would be pretty cool. I found myself wondering when it would finally be over.

Don't overlook this one ... a classic in every WDW sense, slow moving ride that immerses you in scenes of great movies. The kind of ride that I don't want to end. The film montage at the end is well-edited, with awesome movie score accompaniment, but some film clips are a bit forced. awesome attraction overall.

Where do I start. I have been on this thing maybe 10 times, and each time I say never again...or "lame"! It is like Ellen's...good for A/C and rest, that is about it. Most of the time the CM's are yawning through it! This could be a great ride through Disney Movies...instead it is a lame MGM tour of classic, yet tis makes them feel really dated! Let's have something new.

I have loved this ride ever since I was a kid, particularly because of all the looks at classic movies and genres we all love so much. I think it might be a little Disney-centric, but what do you expect at a Disney park? However, it does need an update. I think there are so many omissions that need to be rectified (Star Wars?). I know that there is only so much you can do, but there needs to be a rehab at some point.

The Witch is impressive and the idea is a great one. A good cast member at the wheel can make this fun.

Needs a refurb badly. They have cut corners in places and many of the films in the montage are out of date or undeserving of being in the company of classics.

This gets my vote for the number one attraction that needs a refurb. The imagineers need to do a once-over on the whole experience. If I were them, I would insert the Muppets into the attraction and give it a new life.

Its a great way to take a look at all the older movies and see just how far we have come. Its a pretty long ride so its nice to relax on.
