Honestly, this attraction is pretty innovative. I do like the stitch character and there are some GREAT ideas in this attraction. The problem is, all these great ideas are carried out in the WORST way possible. I'd say if you absolutely NEED to sit down in an air conditioned room, go ahead and go on this, but otherwise, skip it.

If I could I would rate this in the negatives. I rode it for the first and only time in February of 2007. It was terrible. Dark and gross. I was also sick with a bad head cold at the time and the ride made me feel so much worse.

This truly was a waste of time. I think Disney has so much more potential for using the space this attraction takes up. Stitch has the tendency to become quite annoying and he's over the top in this one.

I don't know why so many people rate this attraction poorly, we LOVE it!! While I was a fan of "Alien Encounter", I was upset on my first visit after it was changed, as I had never seen the movie "Lilo & Stitch". However, it did grow on me, and I bought my step-sons the movie for Christmas, as we will be eating at the "Best Friends Breakfast With Lilo & Stitch" at the Polynesian during our trip at the end of this month, as I wanted them to actually know who the characters were before we coughed up all of the money for a character meal... Anyway, they (4&7 yr old boys) LOVE that movie, as do my husband and I, and I love how the attraction pays close attention to detail, and is very much in step with the beginning of the actual movie, even down to the lazer guns and having characters for the movie do the introduction and everything. We give this attraction 8 thumbs up, and my step-sons can't wait to go on it during their first trip to Disney!!

This "poor excuse for entertainment" replaced what I felt was a "great entertainment" experience. Don't bother waiting in line for this failure, which is little more than a cave-in by Disney folks to the people who can't read warning signs!

This is such an absolute catastrophe of epic failure! What in the heck were those imbeciles thinking when they replaced the classic attraction known as "Alien Encounter: ExtraTERRORestrial" with this abysmal farce?!
Disney has alienated me to no end with what they have done. Not only did they get rid of a fantastic ride (for being too "scary"-- give me a freaking break!) but they replaced it with a repugnant atrocity that's so bad, it's like being forced to eat gooy elephant dung with maggots inside. Blasphemy!
Disney needs to destory this epic piece of sh-junk and either (preferably) bring back Alien Encounter, or put in a bran-new attraction altogether.
This "kid-friendly" thing is just going WAYY too far. Granted, Disney is a family park, but do they have to dumb EVERYTHING down to the lowest common denominator?

The harness smashes down on shoulders again and again through out the ride.
I don't know how the harness affects children, but for me, it was a painful ride and I was glad to be done with it.

Shoulder harness Presses too hard

I'm surprised only one other reviewer mentioned the problem I've encountered.
When I was on this ride in 2007 I had an awful time: when I started noticing the shoulder harness going down I wasn't sure what was going on, and I instinctivley shrinked down a little in my seat. The harness stopped very low because of that, and pressed very hard on my shoulders. I hated it and swore never to ride this ride.
Coming back to disney in 2010, I thought maybe my bad experience was my fault, and decided to go back amd sit straight confidently without bending.
And so I did. When the shoulder harness first touched my shoulder I was determine not to bend. When it started pressing harder I started to panic and, again, bent instinctively.
I realized this wasn't my fault, back in 2007, it's the mechanism that wasn't working as it should. So again I had to sit all bent in my chair, pressed down by that shoulder harness.
Now, the entire reason they lock you under that harness is so that you feel Stitch jumping on your shoulders. Which means it then pressed EVEN HARDER on my shoulders. I really suffered during this ride and I don't understand why this happened to me twice. I have average height and a little less than average weight.
I do not recommend this ride to anyone.

This is the only Disney attraction I've experience that I cannot recommend. It is a waste of time. Check my other reviews and you'll see how positive I usually am. Unless you want a chili dog belch in your face, don't bother coming here. There are other attractions worth your time.

I love Lilo and Stitch. I loved Alien Encounter. This is a sad mixture of these two features. Stitch keeps the basics of the Alien Encounter attraction, and yet manages to dumb it down. I was always scared by Alien Encounter, but that was the fun of it. Stitch makes a mockery of the prior attraction.

the attracton was a great ride. The attraction did have various un wanted smells but this is to expect from disney, really pulled you into the ride. This is an attraction to do only once during the resort stay, but a definate must do every time.

Ok, I walk into the "theater" and was really wondering why there were restraints on the seats. I am wondering if we are going to be spinning or not. No, I see Stitch come on and do some things and that was it. Not an exciting experience at all. Lacks Disney theme.

This shouldn't have replaced Alien Encounter. No one's a bigger Disney fan than me, but in this case they let their desire to not be "too scarry" go too far. AE was an awesome attraction and this one is way to cheesy and simply not worth the wait. It really needs to be replaced. Disney REALLY dropped the ball here.

I have seen the reviews so this attraction was on my skip list. My MIL instisted on doing it though, so we all went in. I didn't realize it was theater, I thought it was a ride. When I saw the circular room and chairs with shoulder restraints I thought we would be spinning around or something. Nope, you just sit there and they do a little show with an animatronic Stitch and a few small screens. The sound in the opening act was not synching so you heard all the lines twice. We all left the theater with looks of shock on our face at how truly awful the show was, and we are huge Stitch fans. Not Disney quality, no magic and it really is as bad as everyone is saying it is.

This is one of the worst attractions at WDW!! It's awful and not worth waiting in line for. Actually I never saw a line and only saw a handful of people ever enter the attraction. They need to shut this down and either bring back the original Alien Encounter or put something else in it's place.

This ride isn't exactly a ride. You sit down in a room. The lights go out. You "feel" Stitch crawling and spitting around the room. Children get scared and want to leave, but they can't. The ride is over. It's really a waste of time. I will never go on it again.

I did this attraction because even though I knew it was going to be a watered down version of the alien encounter, I figured it would still be fun. Whatever smell they use for the burps they need to do us a favor and never unleash that smell again. Ir is just boring really. I wish they would bring back alien encounter, but it is not for children so I doubt it will happen.

This has to be the WORST attraction in all of Disney World! The story is not entertaining for anyone at any age. The smell of the horrendous chilli dog was so disgusting my husband and I nearly vomited and he got a headache! There is a reason why you are strapped in to your seat...you'd run away screaming if you could! Do yourself a favor and avoid this attraction at all costs!

I suppose a 10 year old might enjoy this, but it was way too scary for anyone younger than that, and too poorly done for anyone older. The previous incarnation of this ride (Alien Encounter) was also too scary, but at least if you were a fan of those movies it was fun. They should have just moved Alien Encounter to the Studios where it belonged and done something different here. This is a poorly done re-work that fails on every level.
