I LOVED THiS RIDE!!!!!! i hate rollercoasters but this was fun. but... this ride jerked around too much so it kind of hurt my thighs. other than that, it was fantastic!

This is a Disney classic thrill ride, and arguably the most popular ride in the park (it's always going to be a close race with Splash Mountain). This ride is really really fun, and not TOO scary, so even if you're not into most thrill rides you could enjoy this. The only problem is that it is pretty rough and needs renovation for it to be smoother. This one sort of pales in comparison to the one at DLR.

I last rode this attraction in 2010 and didn't care for it-way too jerky. But I decided to give it another try today. We arrived at the park around 3:45 and got FPs good from 5:40-6:40. We returned shortly after 6 and had a short wait. Our party of 6 was able to get an entire rocket ship for ourselves.
The beginning of the ride was fine and I was laughing and screaming in delight, but as it went on and started spiraling through faster and faster I was actually pushed down in my seat and started to feel kind of sick. My phone even fell out of my pocket onto the seat.
Can't recommend it and won't be rushing back.

Even with the advent of the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, this is still my favorite thrill ride at Disney World! I can't get enough of the sharp turns in the pitch black. The interactive queue has given it a slight boost in my opinion as well.

Space Mountain is my alltime favs at Disney World. Durring my 2000 & 2004 trip I got to see what the inside of Space Mountain looked like with the lighs on. I was amaized at how disney was able to fit a Roller Coaster inside a Building. I hope to come back to WDW and ride the Newly Rehabed Space Mountain

My wife and I totally love this ride. It is one of our top 5 rides in the Magic Kingdom. It down for awhile one day so we rode the people-mover and got a chance to actually see the track inside the mountain. A great ride

A must do for every visit to the Magic Kingdom. its a space themed high speed ride in the complete dark. I highly recommend Fastpass since Space Mountain is so popular, but the interactive games help pass the time in the standby line.

this is my all time favorite ride!
its always fresh.
I rode it 18 time in a row the day before a hurricane. Walked on every time.
However, the lines can be long and i've even been in a longer line in the fastpass line.

Rode this using a fastpass around 4pm on 5/24/10. The wait was about 15 minutes; it would have been longer, but as the CM was going through the line asking how many were in a party, I was a single rider so I got to skip a bunch of people. =) However, that was where the good times ended. I'm 19 and in good health, but I found this to be very jerky. It was almost painful, and I did not enjoy it. Not sure if I'd ride it again.

This ride is not something for younger kids. Its in the dark and is fun that you can't see where you're going. You feel like you're in space. pretty cool. however the line is ALWAYS way long no matter when you go. Fastpass is definitely needed if you don't want to miss this attraction. and it's way too short

Great ride took you out of the real world and transformed you into the future with a great gift shop that made you feel like a real astronaut! There was a long wait and a couple cast member problems but everyone cannot be in a good mood in the blistering hot florida sun. Great ride!

I completely recommend this ride to anyone who goes to the MK. Disney made a huge success by refurbishing it. It is better than ever with games in the stand-by line, smoother track, and a better effect of it being dark while on the ride. The stand-by line can be quite long, so I recommend that you get fast passes!

From the outside of the building to dimmed/dark interior, the ride is such a classic. Like not knowing exactly where the dips and hills are. Been enjoying this ride since I was 13 in 1978, now my teens are enjoying it with me. One thing, the que line does move slower than it really should. If this was addressed, it would be perfect. GREAT ride!

I went on Space Mountain last week (Feb 4). It was the first time I have been on it since it reopened. While I enjoyed it, I had higher expectations for the reopening. Yes it was a darker ride and not as jerky, but I was expecting a different ride and new cars (that fit more people). The wait for the ride isn't worth it.
The cars are the reason why the wait is so long. I would have thought Disney would updated those along with the track.

Don't put your hands up! Not for people who are deathly afraid of the dark, people who are clostrophobi, or people who get motion sickness easily. Lines can be really long sometimes.

I absolutely love this ride! I was amazed by it! But i definately learned my lesson about putting my hands up in the air and waving them like I just don't care. If you put your hands up, they are likely to hit something above you. It hurts, trust me! It really is a great ride though!

Great ride. You do not know where you are going. You get night vision then they burst you thru a light tunnel to lose it. I just home they do not theme it to a Disney Movie that would ruin it! ie Buz Lightyear or something. They still need rides for adults older teens.

I never skip this ride, it is great! It is pretty rough on my neck so if you have a preexisting injury be careful. I love seeing the first time riders, they always come off this ride excited and wanting to ride it again. I can't wait until my DD is old enough to ride this ride!
