We caught the Liberty Belle right before it pulled out around 5:15pm on 5/18. It was pretty boring, though we did get some pictures of the "moose", the "Indians" and the other hidden things. There weren't a lot of places to sit, and almost no breeze, so it was really hot as well.

It's slow and "relaxing", but painfully boring and l-o-n-g. It's hot being outdoors, few seats, hard to find shaded area, and when the Captain sings ""Old Man River" it's like a nail being driven through your forehead. Skip this and do something more exciting.

This is a boring ride that you could easily get by riding a ferry to your hotel if you stay close to the MK. Not worth it at all.

The boat is gorgeous and the ride is very relaxing. As a kid I used to ride a similar boat called the Julia Belle Swain down the Illinois river. It was pretty special to be able to share a similar experience with my own little girl, show her the paddle wheel, walk around the decks and tell a few "when mommy was a little girl..." stories.

Sure, it's slow... but it's a great way to take an enforced "slow down and relax" break. Kick back, enjoy the ride, take some pictures (GREAT Haunted Mansion pics from the back of the boat at the start!), and get off your feet for awhile. Nice way to break up the pace of the day.

This is a slow moving boat ride around Tom Sawyer island. Great ride to take to relax and get out of the hustle of the park. Kids might find it boring, and adults is they can find a private spot have a great romantic ride in the Magic Kingdom.

The boat ride is very long, and feels even longer if you don't have a place to sit, but you get awesome views of rides like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and The Haunted Mansion. Definately worth the time.

This is an enjoyable little break from hurrying around the park and gives you an interesting perspective to look at Frontierland and Liberty Square. Since the capacity of the ship is pretty big there's rarely a wait to get on, though you do have to wait for it to pull into 'port'.
Over the years, several of the onshore attractions have broken down/been deactivated and not replaced, which detracts from the story a little.

The Riverboat is beautiful and treated with care. It is a nice break from the crowds, as it floats sloooooooooooooowly along the river. It would be nice if there were seating on the deck - standing for the entire slow ride sure makes the dawgs bark!

we always have a great time when going through this ride. It's a bit scary for little kids but once they get past the initial introductions they settle right down. Another negative is that it usually gets stuck for at least a few minutes each time we ride it. My understanding is that this happens frequently.

We rode the boat for the first time this last trip and I really enjoyed the ride. It was nice and relaxing and everyone on the boat was very nice. The noise is a bit off-putting but all in all it was good and I'd take the riverboat trip around Tom Sawyer's Island again.

I view this as something everyone should do at least once. If you are looking for some downtime, hop on board. The ride is slow, but the views of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad are great. It's also fun to look over Tom Sawyer's Island and watch the people stumbling around.

While I don't think this is a very enticing "attraction" - like the previous review said it's basically a ride around Tom Sawyer Island. However, it's a good place to sit, relax & take a break. When my kids were small we would take a ride just before nap time so they could decompress a little before snoozing in the stroller.

I enjoy the boat ride but it is really just a trip around Tom Sawyer Island. Kids might be bored but I think you should take a few breaks to decompress during a day at the Magic Kingdom and this is a great way to do that. (Also a great way to wait out a summer shower - as long as you don't go out on deck.)
