Description: If you like to spin, you will love the Alice in Wonderland inspired Mad Tea Party. You sit in oversized teacups and you can spin a lot or a little as the entire ride spins as well. If you have a sensitive tummy or suffer from motion sickness, definitely skip this attraction. One cute feature that you can see whether you ride it or not is the dormouse popping out of the teapot in the center. If you're an Alice in Wonderland fan, she often does character meet and greets at the garden surrounding this attraction as well as the Mad Hatter, Tweedle Dee, Tweedle Dum, etc. The Mad Tea Party is a great backdrop for a souvenir photo.

This ride is a virtual little kid magnet. They love the spinning motion, especially being able to turn it themselves. Because it's on the slow side to load/unload, long lines are not uncommon. It's best to head here first thing in the morning (and you may want to have breakfast after riding it.)

This ride is accessible to wheelchair guests who are able to transfer to the teacups.

Positive aspects of the product (pros):
Cons:

My roommates and I are on a quest to experience every single attraction in Disney World during our four month college program, so despite my motion sickness on spinning rides, I decided to brave this.

It was about 12:30 am on 2/23 and there was no line, so my roommate and I each chose our own cup. This was also great because she wanted to spin really fast and I did not.

I did okay, as the spinning is not too bad as long as you don't spin your center wheel as well, but I probably won't ever do it again.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): colorful
Cons: very short

This ride is really cool! However it won't agree with individuals who experience motion sickness. But you don't have to spin the tea cup if you don't want to. One of the must-dos!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Classic, Crazy, and Fun
Cons: Spinning!

This is a good ride which describes the theme of Alice in Wonderland. Enjoyable for many kids. The spinning might make you take many Advil through out the rest of your day.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Colorful fun ride.
Cons: Makes me sick

This is one of my least favorite rides in WDW. I am just against things that spin fast. At least in Mission Space you don't really know your spinning. Here you see everything going past and going past and going past. This ride is great for kids and adults as long as you can handle it. I only go on this ride about once every 5 years. Not a bad ride just not my favorite.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): well themed attraction, characters ride too
Cons: pretty standard spinning tea cups

Wow these cups can spin. They can really get you sick if you're sensitive to the spinning.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Another classic Disney ride
Cons: not for those who get dizzy

The ride my kids were looking forward to the most, and the only one I didn't ride on, due to my bad ears (I can;t spin).

My kids were the only one's on, and got an extra long ride. Fun, fun and more fun.

Positive aspects of the product (pros):
Cons:

This is a fun ride, but it's a typical amusement park ride, and I don't think it's worth a long wait with all the other original rides in the park.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Spinning Teacups
Cons: Teacups that Spin!

This ride, like Dumbo, Pirates of the Carribean, Jungle Cruise, Peter Pan's Flight and a picture in front of Cinderella's Castle, is a must for anyone going to the Magic Kingdom. Outside of the ride's canopy there is not much to experience. The cups are the cups and they can spin as much as your kids(or you) like inside the spinning ride. My girls like this ride and laugh about "making Mommy green". I've talked to many people about this ride in particular. Many have told me the spinning doesn't bother them, others have told me they can go Space Mountain 100times and it doesn't affect them like this ride does - I seem to fall into that group. It's also a good photo- op.

We love it, but hey we love to spin. If you don't do well on anything that spins stay away from this ride. also not the best after lunch or dinner ride.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Gives a great, crazy feeling
Cons: The long line/pushy people

I don't remember laughing this hard on a ride, ever. Gives a great feeling and gives great memories - it is rare that you get to see your family this unguarded. It is very cool.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): A classic
Cons: cramped leg space

The teacups are a classic ride that are a must do for me. I grew up going to Disneyland and the setting in WDW is not as appealing as the open air ambiance of SoCal. I get that the metal roof it is necessary in the Forida heat. Three adults/teens will have a hard time negotiating the limited leg space.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): fun if you like spinning
Cons: I don't like spinning

Wife and kids enjoy this ride. I can't stand it. I get sick thinking about it. If you've been on a spinning teacup ride at your local park then you've been on this ride.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great spinning ride
Cons: Motion sickness?

Great ride with the spinning action controlled by you. Go as fast or slow as you and your companions wish. The only downside is if you want to spin at different speeds!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Spinning at your own pace
Cons: none

Tilt-a-whirl with tea cups. That is how I would describe this ride. I love the fact that you can turn this sucker all by yourself, and go as fast or as slow as you want. I prefer to go fast, of course. I also love the Alice in Wonderland theming behind it. I mean, I still don't see why this ride inspires such passion that it would make a woman beat up another in line, but it is still a good ride. Definitely recommend it.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Fun, colorful, classic attraction
Cons: Not so fun if you don't like to spin

A family favorite; we have a collection of spinning on the Teacups pictures through the years. I really like the look of this pavilion at night; very pretty all lit up.
Even if you don't turn the silver wheel in the middle of your cup, you will still be rotating on the bigger panels in the floor, so there will be some spinning regardless. Getting dizzy is part of the fun but spinning makes you sick, skip this one.
