Description: Year Opened: 1971

Based on a suggestion by Walt Disney himself, the Country Bear Jamboree has all the makings of an old-fashioned hoe-down. This entertaining knee-slapping fun is held in Grizzly Hall and features 20 Audio-animatronic bears. Starring the 7 foot tall Henry as the Master of Ceremonies, the show is 17 minutes long and offers corny humor and the singing talents of entertainers such as the Five Bear Rugs, Teddi Barra the Tampa Temptation and hear the harmony of Bubbles, Bunny and Beulah.
This show is wheelchair accessible and guests with hearing difficulties will note that assistive listening devices can be used here and are available at Guest Services. Reflective Captioning is also provided for the deaf, ask a Cast Member at the entrance for assistance.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Family fun
Cons:

Something about this attraction has changed, but it's been long enough that I can't put my finger on it. It seems rushed and not as fun as I remember it being.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Air Conditioned
Cons: Cheesy, Long, Outdated

Um, it was nice and air-conditioned! The show itself really was just long, old and drawn out though!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): A Walt Disney Classic. Good animatronics.
Cons: May be boring to adults.

This is a classic Walt Disney idea for the entire family. A great place to get out of the sun, relax, and have a sit while the little ones enjoy watching the bears. I have been going to Walt Disney World for pver 30 years and still have to see once a trip for old time sacs.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): cute show. good way to give your feet a rest
Cons: needs u[dating

I wouldn't classify it as a must see, but it is a cute show. Its a great way to rest your feet for a while and/or get out of the Florida sun for a bit.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Good Music, Nice Show
Cons: Best described as "cute"

It is a Disney classic, and the kids love it. There's something about singing bears that just make the trip to Frontierland complete. It is a cute show, however. Adults may only find it entertaining once over the course of several visits.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great For Southern Red-Necks and Hicks
Cons: Everything

This show needs to be taken out of the MK immediatley. Everyone in my family hated it so much and were waiting to get out of there. It's just a bunch of bears playing the banjo and expecting us to have fun when none of us are having fun at all. Awful experience and waste of time.

Cons: Updates are in order

Our family enjoys this attraction. Not one of our "favorites", but nice just the same.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Very cute!
Cons: None

This is a good respite from the day. Go in, enjoy the show, which you will, then continue your day. Very cute!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Classic Disney Atraction
Cons: Sound not that good

This is a great Disney attraction. It is a little corny but I love it. Disney has ruined other attractions by trying to theme them to sell dvd's. Case in point Pirates of the Caribbean and Alien encounter.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great escape from the heat. Good Disney fun
Cons: Little out of date but still fun

This is a great escape from the heat and to see some more Disney history. Everyone thinks its boring cause of it being old and telling corny jokes. Ok it is old but come on a lot of the jokes at WDW are corny. Your at a theme park not a stand up comedy act. Since its refurb the sound is so much better and the movement of characters is improved. Check it out once just so you can at least see some Disney classic.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Place for DH to sit down and rest
Cons: Tired and uninspiring

We finally went to this and the best thing about it was the rest break it provided in a cool environment. Disney can make much better use of this space.

Positive aspects of the product (pros):
Cons:

It's a WDW classic that needs a refurb badly, but even in it's current state, is better than the <5 rating it has received up to this point/

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great theme, songs and show
Cons: That more people don't like it

I have always loved the CBJ - it's one of those shows that make you feel like if they were real you would love to be a part of that. Blood on the Saddle makes me roar out loud every time I see it!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Sitting down, AC, Cute
Cons:

I still enjoy this show. Reminds of being a child. The wait between shows is long, but sitting in the AC is rewarding!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): cute animatronics
Cons: showing its age

I remember LOVING this show as a kid. I even have a stuffed bear from our first trip at my parents house.

The characters are the same, but the times have passed this show by. My small kids had a bit of fun, but it's seen better days.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Kids seem to enjoy it
Cons: Boring for repeat visitors.

I really liked this attraction when I was a kid, but it has lost it's appeal as I got older, and we tend it skip it. I would recommend it to first time visitors or people with kids - it's definitely worth seeing at least once, it is a classic attraction. But I think it could be freshened up.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Cool rest break, animatronics interesting
Cons: old, corny, not really funny

The best thing I can say for this show is that it makes for a nice break in the park when your crowd and you get tired. This show is not funny, the songs are kind of sad, even bizarre. The characters look and sound old. It's like your visting an artifact of history in a Disney Museum if there was one. I suggested to one of the cast members that Disney should produce a "Toy Story" show like "It's a Bugs Life" or "Voyage of the Little Mermaid" at that theatre.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): air conditioned
Cons: worn out, everything needs to be revamped

Years ago this was a cute attraction. Went into it last year and the music didn't match the bears mouths...and most of it was unintelligible. So disappointed. This was a favorite of the young children, but until they fix it, forget it!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Nostalgia
Cons: Corny and needs an update

This is an attraction I'd suggest for maybe once a trip. People who have been around Disney a long time may appreciate the nostalgia, but it's really not all that exciting and can be a bit boring. Nice place to get into some air-conditioning for a while though.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): humorous country music ensemble; Big Al is great
Cons: very corny

There is a strong emotional attachment to this ride from my childhood. There is also a holiday version that I consider better, although they did not convert it the last time I was there during the holidays.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): the jokes
Cons: the jokes

If you love corny jokes this is big fun, if not you'll hate it. We visit every 3 or 4 visit.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great characters
Cons: no Christmas show anymore

I don't get the bad reviews for this. It would be terrible if this ever left, far more so than Mr. Toad. My family enjoys the corny show every time we go. It's funny, well paced, and doesn't cause motion sickness like most new attractions do. Walt wanted attractions that the whole family could enjoy together, and this is one.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Fun "jamboree", classic ride
Cons: sound system getting kinda klunky

While this is another "classic" and we DO generally enjoy it, we're starting to be able to hear the clicking of the bears and the sound system needs a major overhaul.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): New sound system has improved the sound quality
Cons: Boring and Dated

We really dislike this attraction. Most likely, we will not be going to it anytime soon. The songs are disturbing (Blood on the Saddle?? That's not child friendly, is it?) and the show does not hold your interest. I know it's a classic, but I don't see any appeal to it.
