Description: A nighttime spectacular where thunderous fireworks and lasers fill the skies above World Showcase Lagoon. Video images are displayed across a giant sphere in the middle of the lagoon that tell the Earth's incredible tale. The sphere then blossoms like a flower, exposing a ball of fire and leads to the shows finale.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): location
Cons: not clear what is going on

I love this and have seen it many times. However, we went with people who had never been and they didn't know what was going on. To be honest I looked it up in our guide book to find out what the theme was.

The absolute best time to see it is during the holidays, when they add the song/production "Let There Be Peace on Earth" to the end. Brought tears to my eyes.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Fire!
Cons:

This show puts the "fire" in fireworks! There is lots of fire, so much fire you can literally feel the heat. Amazing show.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): fabulous and enchanting music
Cons: a little slow, maybe boring to some in the middle

This is my favorite evening show. It is not as "Disney" as the shows in Magic Kingdom or Studios. It is more adult themed, less "in your face" entertaining.

Much as I really enjoy the show, it is the music that I can listen to over anover and over again at home.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): fireworks, lasers, fire
Cons: some obstructed views

These were the only fireworks we were able to see twice during our March 2009 trip. They are well worth it! When the torches light up in front of each country and the music starts playing, it will give you chills!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great Music, Makes you Cry , The Best Fireworks on WDW Property
Cons: getting a great seat

I first saw Illuminations back in 2000. I have to say I was Blown Away. The Music makes me emotional. Beautiful. I love the infernal Barge and the Global TV. Epcot has the best Fireworks on WDW Property. Just get to the World Showcase Plaza or the World Showcase area early to get the best seat.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Really cool to watch while you're eating at Rose/Crown
Cons: Not the best fireworks show on property

Now, this is nice and I am giving it a 9, but I think Wishes is a better fireworks show. And I don't really care for the "story" that they try to throw on this. That being said, nothing beats getting some grub at Rose/Crown and watching the fireworks. (Not sure if they still allow patio seating.)

Positive aspects of the product (pros): music, world showcase at night
Cons: lining up to find a seat, smoke

What is there to say other than WOW! I do think it has lost a little something over the years since its first introduction in 2000, but Reflections of Earth is phenomenal. The music is inspirational. We love the theming and the fireworks. Advice - line up in a spot which isn't blocked by overhanging trees and which is upwind of the lake. Then take your time afterward, let the crowds disperse, and enjoy the music and lighting of World Showcase with a leisurely stroll back to the exit. We would spend every evening in World Showcase with Illuminations at the end if there wasn't something else to see. The little ones do not like this show sometimes because the booms from the exploding fireworks are quite close to you.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): awesome show
Cons: get me out of here

Incredible fireworks display! Definitely not to be missed. It was an even more incredible convergence into the parking area to board the bus home but the mass exodus of people seemed to be well accommodated for the most part, maybe took us a 1/2 hour wait.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): beatiful, well coordinated, best is at Christmas time
Cons: smoke...beware and watch which way wind is blowing

It just isn't a trip to WDW without seeing this.
At Christmas time they add an extra song...Let there be peace on earth...and it is just beautiful. The ending of this is just spectacular

Positive aspects of the product (pros): spine-tingling
Cons: arrive early to get a good spot

Favorite current Disney World night show. Following the story of the show gives it much more meaning. It's incredible that they do this every night. Absolutely not to be missed!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): The music and its interaction with the lighting effects
Cons: Smoke obscuring your view

Possibly the most moving experience in all of the World. The fireworks are wonderful and the globe is very cool, and the use of the lights on the buildings is very effective as well. As a musician, I tend to focus on the music in everything at WDW, but it doesn't take musical training to realize that this music is a masterpiece. It is absolutely breathtaking. It usually leaves me in tears. Everyone should witness this show atleast once, but who limits it to only once?

Positive aspects of the product (pros): nice show, gives you a warm feeling
Cons: bad viewing area can be aggravating

The first time we saw the show we saw it from France and could barely see the globe which is the biggest part of the show. Get a spot closer to the future world side of the world showcase.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): fireworks, holiday-tweaked version
Cons: securing a good viewing spot

This is a great show, and I highly recommend that you see this show at least once during your visit. It is also one of those shows that I recommend seeing on each of your visits if you are a frequent visitor to WDW.

I especially enjoy the holiday-tweaked version that adds an additional segment onto the end of the normal presentation.

The only con I have is having to stake out a good viewing area well in advance of the show. I would recommend at least 45 minutes to an hour before showtime to start looking for a spot, unless you are able to secure a viewing spot near the UK in the Rose & Crown. You will have people trying to move in on your spot at the last minute, so you have to be on guard.

It is a great show and worth the wait.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Original, beautiful, and timeless
Cons: You can see it during Fantasmic

This is my favorite fireworks show in the park! The Reflections of Earth theme is wonderful and the fireworks they use are beautiful. I also love how they use the lights of World Showcase to accentuate the show. I refuse to do a fireworks cruise for this show, because it is not the same as seeing it at the lake. Absolutely beautiful and a must-do if you are in Epcot.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): A super way to end the day at EPCOT
Cons: Some viewing areas not so good

A moving fireworks laser show around the lagoon of World Showcase. Touching music, spectacular fireworks that are sychronized to the music. We do this every trip to WDW, not to be missed.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): the entire show
Cons:

This is absolutely the best fireworks show Disney has ever come up with, period. It's inspirational, exciting, and a perfect fit for Epcot. Do not miss it.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Spectacular. Music makes the show
Cons: Lags a little when globe first appears

Illuminations is a must-see every time I go to WDW.

The music is wonderful and is synced flawlessly with the show elements.

Everyone that visits EPCOT has to see this show. We love to make ADR's at Rose & Crown and watch the show while we're eating dinner.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G
Cons: none

Illuminations-Reflections of Earth might be my favorite attraction in all of Walt Disney World. Incredible, dramatic, and emotional music synchronized perfectly to light and spectacle in an inspiring show that you don't want to end.

To be fair and objective ... some don't like this as much because there are no characters, the "light ball" they say is boring ... but for me, I could watch this every night for the rest of my life.

ILLUMINATIONS motivates me to serve mankind. It is a highlight of any trip to WDW. The music is inspiring and the visual effects are incomparable. This is a not to be missed night time attraction.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): View
Cons: Location

It can be difficult to get a good viewing location so you can see the globe, but overall the fireworks and show are excellent. This isn't my favorite show but I still enjoy it.

Positive aspects of the product (pros):
Cons:

This is one of our favorite night time shows in the parks. I love it because with the World Showcase being so spread out you aren't fighting crowds during the show to secure your spot. We get a spot by the lake about 45 minutes prior to the show. There is nothing like watching this show with a drink in hand and taking in the awesome fireworks and music. This is a MUST DO for our family each time we are at Disney.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Just beautiful.
Cons: None

In my opinion, this is the best nighttime show at WDW. It is beautifully presented over the lagoon at Epcot, and really is a must-see when visiting WDW.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Best of the best!
Cons:

Illuminations is our absolute favorite fireworks spectacular. The music is inspiring, the laser special effects perfectly timed, and the fireworks are breath-taking. The "wow" factor for me has to be the globe, showing the movie (how do they do that?). For an extra special treat, rent a boat for the Illuminations Cruise. Your skipper will give you the back story on the fireworks and the movie showing in the globe, as it traces the origin of earth, man, and civilization. Watching from shore is best when you stake out your seats early - and find a nice snack to help pass the time! I always highly recommend this to my friends.
