Positive aspects of the product (pros): It was just all right
Cons:

It was all right. We have been to the MNSSHP and would recommend going to that over this. Halloween lends itself better to Disney World than the winter holidays. The decorations are already up so really there isn't much added for this event. For the Halloween Party, a lot of decorations go up and it is a whole new experience in the park.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Special parades, fireworks, parties
Cons: crowded

My family of 3 attended the December 6th party. We were looking forward to it since I had read how you can walk on to rides with little wait and that the Characters are out wearing their Holiday attire. Plus the parties. Well, it was so crowded!!! It took 1 hour to meet Belle - and we only met her because we got in line when Snow White was there and they switched while we were waiting. It was 45 minutes for Peter Pan. We gave up on any other Characters.

We did see the Parade which was great. As well as the Fireworks. My daughter loved the Dance Party at Ariel's Grotto. That was the only show we got to.

If I was to go again, I would skip the rides and Characters and only do the shows. We were very disappointed.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Wondful time, great experince
Cons: none

This is something not to be missed by young and old. I agree with many other reviews the parade is fantasic. What we really enjoyed is the feeling of "old Disney"-you know back what seems so long ago when you saw the charaters just walking around the theme park enjoy the guest and the guest enjoying them? Yes that what we experinced a lot. Goofy dancing on stage and then down with the kids and crowd at the cafe. Chip and Dale even joined in. The Queen and a few others from Alice in Wonderland where having there own fun with some guest as well. The fireworks seem more magical and the hot choclate and cookies are yummy. We just got back from the 12/1/09 Christmas Party. It was worth every penny.
Just have your kids nap that day before you head out so you and them and everyone around can really enjoy this magical evening.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): holiday shows
Cons: crowds

The special holiday shows at this event are what make it extra special. In past years, my family used this party as extra time to ride attractions. This past year, I convinced them to see the shows. They loved them and I'm sure we'll be doing them again. This is an event we never miss if we are there at that time of year.

If you have the choice between several party dates, choose one in the middle of the week for the least crowded event.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Shows, music, Holiday atmosphere
Cons: price

The castle ice lights are worth the price! The shows, music, snowing on Main Street, cookies and hot chocolate all set the mood for Christmas. Fun show at Diamond Horseshoe. Park looks awesome decked out in it's Holiday best!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): shows, parade
Cons: cost, no more free photos

It just isn't Christmas in WDW if I don't go to this event...even though it is the same year after year, I love it. I am so disappointed that there are no more photos. We had one for every year and it was so neat to see each year how we changed and remind of us the fun we had.

Depending on when you go, you can see the same shows and the Christmas parade without going to this extra costly event

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Very Merry holiday decorations, Excellent family experience
Cons: Weather is not dependable that time of year

I have been several times. Once it was 30 degrees at night, another 65. but the temperature only causes and inconvenience. We have also been there and it poured we got wet then ducked into the nearest store and purchased party T shirts then back to the fun. Hot chocolate regular and sugar free was given out this last year. They also had apple juice. There were sugar cookies also apple slices were availble. something for everyone. The Holiday Wishes fireworks topped off a night of shows along with select attractions. The castle of lights lit up the whole park.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): numerous special holiday shows, parades & fireworks
Cons: becoming quite costly

A wonderful way to enjoy the holidays. Particularly beneficial if you enjoy the special shows, parades, & fireworks. If attending primarily to enjoy the attractions, there are more cost-effective ways to do so.

Positive aspects of the product (pros):
Cons:

The parade and Wishes are wonderful, but I was a bit disappointed when we went. It was VERY crowded, much more crowded than I expected. Long lines for cocoa and pictures, could not get a seat for the show in Tomorrowland, ride lines were short, but the extra party stuff was crowded.
I'm glad we went, the parade and Wishes definitely made it worth it, but I really doubt I would do this party again.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great value. Cookies and Hot Chocolate. Low crowds.
Cons:

We went during the first week of December and it was great. Not very crowded, lots to do. Not sure where they will put the Christmas show now that the Tomorrowland Theater is being demolished. Plan your night so that you can see everything (many things run simultaniously). The decorations are excellent. A great time to enjoy the park.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): holiday spirit, snow, parade, selection of rides
Cons: crowds on Main Street, lack of food choices, pricey

First things first. My primary con to this event are the crowds. This is normally only a problem in the Main Street and castle area around parade and fireworks time. If you are looking to do rides, plan on getting to those rides first, and then setup shop for the fireworks and late parade.

The Christmas Party really gets everyone in the mood. The decorations are great, and Holiday Wishes is spectacular, not to mention the snow on Main Street. The kids really love it, and believe it or not, my youngsters had no problem staying up late. The last couple of visits we have stayed basically until the park closed. You will have fight people for monorail or boat access out, but the monorails are usually running fairly quick at the end, unless a problem has occurred. There are not alot of restaurants or food vendors that are open during the Christmas Party, so make sure you have a dining reservation in the park beforehand, or eat something before you decide to come over to MK for the party.

The price of the Christmas Party is pretty steep, but it does get you 5 hours of after hours access to a majority of the rides in MK and a great parade and fireworks show. Not to mention the other side events that take place only during the Christmas Party, such as the stage show at the Theater next to Buzz Lightyear.

If you are coming down for the holidays, I'd recommend that you take the plunge and purchase tickets for the party. Definitely try to stay away from Fridays and Saturdays as those dates tend to have the largest crowds. Try to plan attending early on in your vacation, so if you get rained out you will have the chance to redeem your tickets for a party later on in your stay.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): The Snow
Cons: The Crowds

I was not impressed with the Christmas Party. It was just so crowded! It didn't seem like much bang for the buck. I did love the snow and the decorations on Main Street! And the Castle was beautiful.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): snow on Main Street
Cons: crowded

Very festive atmosphere, we went a few years ago and it was CRAZY crowded; however we've heard since then that Disney has done a better job of limiting tickets per event. But you're already in the most magic place on Earth ad the most magic holiday of them all and you're guaranteed to have a magical memory!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): atmosphere, shows, parade, fireworks
Cons: possible high crowds

We have attended MVMCP a few times and have found it to be well worth the money. The Magic Kingdom is all decked out for the holidays. You just can't beat sitting on Main St, while it's snowing, munching on cookies (free) and sipping hot chocolate. The parade is awesome and really gets you in the holiday spirit. The fireworks are spectacular! The only downside is the parties become pretty crowded the closer you get to Christmas.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): gets you in the holiday spirit
Cons: can get crowded

This party is a great way to get into the holiday spirit. The parade is really good. I enjoy the Twas the Night before Christmas show - it's a really great show and a must see during the party. The best part for me is seeing all my favorite characters dressed up in their holiday garb.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Really Stokes Holiday Spirit, Wonderful Parade & Fireworks
Cons: Can get crowded.

The magic of the holidays and the Magic Kingdom combine for a really amazing Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. The parade is really festive with all the added Christmas elements. I love the tin soldiers and how they march so perfectly and Goofy's Candy Company floating by on a sugary sweet breeze! And who doesn't love seeing Santa?! The fireworks are spectacular and the new castle lights really amp up the holiday excitement! Then, it snows on Main Street! How can you ask for more?

I will admit, it's pretty good chunk of change for a family to attend this party, but if you were mumbling Bah Humbug before this event, you'll be leaving the park humming Jingle Bells!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Wonderful holiday decorations, a magical parade, and snow on Main Street
Cons: Not enough places to eat left open

The MMVMCP is one of the premier after-hours at the Magic Kingdom. The park seems transformed in the dimmer lights as the smaller crowds allow you to enjoy the holiday decorations. You are able to wander through the park and sample Christmas cookies and hot cocoa, and enjoy shorter lines on many of the rides.

The higlight of the evening has to be the parade, where the familiar characters are dressed in their holiday finery, and even St. Nick himself makes an appearance! The parade is exciting and full of surprises (check out that gingerbread smell!) and well worth the price of admission.
