Description: This restaurant is a replica of Tony's which was the favorite dining spot of Lady and the Tramp. You'll find art work based on this charming movie, a central fountain, and red and white checked tablecloths.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): a/c table service in MK; good kids menu options
Cons: average italian food

We went here for dinner for nostalgia of the lady & tramp movie. In the lobby the is a small tv palying the lasdy & tramp movie. Some art work based on the movie is fun to see. Food was o.k.

Cons: Food was blah.

Themeing is nice but this could be an amazing restaurant with better food. Over priced for pizza and spaghetti.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Front of the park / view.
Cons: Terrible food.

We were pretty excited about eating here. Place right at the front of the Magic Kingdom, Italian food. How could one go wrong?

After waiting 20 minutes for a table, we were presented with a terrible meal.

The service was good, restaurant atmosphere was fine.

Had the lamb, which was dry and the kids had spaghetti, which was really not great either. We won't be going back.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Nice decor
Cons: Expensive for what you get

Sadly there aren't that many Table Service resturants in the Magic Kingdom, and this one you might want to skip. I so wanted to eat here as I love Italian food, and liked the idea that I was eating at the resturant where Lady and the Tramp were outside in the back alley.

Sadly, the food was way too expensive for a plate of spaghetti for the level of taste it was. Now saying that it wasn't bad, but I could get the same plate at Shoney's or Big Boy's for alot cheaper.

Positive aspects of the product (pros):
Cons:

We went here for my 30th birthday. The lady who sat us was very nice, knew it was my birthday adn gave the kids some confetti and streamers to decorate the table with, they loved that.
The server didn't have much of a personality at all and it was like pulling teeth to get him to talk to us. The food was just o.k., when they served the mozerella sticks as our appetizer the sauce they gave us was cold and they seemed a bit bothered by us asking them to heat it up. My spaghetti was just o.k., a little on the bland side. They were doing some cute celebrations for anniversaries where the couples had to roll the meatball back and forth like in the lady and the tramp movie in honor of their anniversary which was cute. They brought out a cake (that my husband had arranged and paid for) and got the restaraunt singing so that was cute. Overall not the best meal and not the worst, just o.k. Definitely not a memorable 30th b-day dinner.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great location - beautiful interior
Cons:

We actually love this restaurant and make lunch reservations every visit. For us, sharing an antipasto plate or a salad, and then sharing spaghetti gives us plenty to eat, and the cool spacious atmosphere is a treat as well.

However, I don't think we would enjoy this restaurant as much in the evening paying higher prices, or if we were to try and have a salad and pasta dish each - just too expensive and too much food. Also, we have had less success with various meat dishes we have tried (Chicken Parm and Grilled Pork Tenderloin).

The staff is usually very friendly and accomodating, and keep our drinks filled and plates cleared (though we have one or two that were not quite as attentive).

Tony's makes a great break on a hot day when you just want to sit, relax, and cool down.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Location, Location, Location
Cons: Food

If you can get on the patio this is a great place to eat. The food is just ok, but sitting on main street to eat is priceless. I can usually find something decent to eat, but if I can't get on the patio I would not eat here.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): location, porch view
Cons:

I know that a lot of people complain about Tony's but we have never had a bad meal here, and it is another on our must-do list - in fact , we ate at at Tony's twice on our most recent trip.

I think the reason we have been pretty happy with our meals here may be because we tend to avoid the cliched "typical" Italian options like spaghetti & meatballs or chicken parm when we eat here. We live in an area (northern NJ) where we can get really good Italian food, and tend to find that what passes for red sauce, or Italian food in general, just isn't the same in many other parts of the country. We have ordered salmon, NY Strip steak, pasta primavera, and other dishes, and been very happy with our meals.

On our most recent trip, they were offering a green apple sorbet (no added sugar) that was outstanding.

We really were not that impressed with Tony's. It was a disappointment. While the atmosphere is good, the food wasn't.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Location
Cons: None

Given sit down dining at the Magic Kingdom is limited to begin with we have eaten here quite often. The food is good but not outstanding. If you were going to eat Italian food once during your trip I'd go elsewhere but you'll do OK at Tony's if you must.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): location, a/c, food

We like Tony's - it's our family tradition to start every trip with a meal here to ease us into the Disney-filled atmosphere.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): fair Italian food
Cons:

Fair Italian food, but being one of only a few sit down restaurants in the MK, it is a logical place if you are looking for a sit down meal while in the MK.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Setting was very nice.
Cons: Food.

I liked the nods to Lady and the Tramp, but the food was really plain. The pasta dish that I got was actually pretty bad, and I ended up wishing I had ordered what someone else at the table had. The best thing about it was the little screened cocoa powder Lady and Tramp on the dessert plate.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): beautiful theming
Cons: food has gone steadily downhill

In the past, this was one of our favorites. We loved the sauce, and the bread...we are both Italian. But a few years back, the food changed. The spaghetti is not as good, the meatball was a huge giant ball, the sauce lousy. NO BREAD!! WHAT??? Only available at dinner....
Service good, but food lousy and overpriced. I would rather drive to the Olive Garden than eat here. Sorry, but this is a sad situation.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Could see the Parade at night
Cons: Service was worst ever at Disney

Food was good enough, but the service erased any positives. I had to flad the maitri-de (spelling?) to get bread at our table. Our server was no existant and I had to address billing issues twice before they were finally corrected.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Location , decor
Cons: the food and the price

This is probably some of the worst food to be had anywhere on Disney property IMHO.

The last time the wife and I ate there we decided that it would indeed be the last time we would ever eat there.

It is not that the service was poor, or the food was cold, it is just that they taste of the food was horrible.

If it were only me I could understand, but my wife rarely will put down anything Disney does, but she was almost as disgusted as I was.

The restaurant itself is nice and in a great location.

I think the mouse missed the boat on this one.

Do yourself a favor and go to crystal palace if you want a good sit down meal at the MK.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): nice atmosphere
Cons: small waiting area

We have dined at Tony's several times and enjoyed it whenever we've gone there.

The food is very good and the atmosphere in the restaurant is enjoyable.

My biggest complaint would have to be the small waiting area for this restaurant. It seems there are always a lot of people waiting to be seated and you get crammed into a small space.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great food and service
Cons: Very loud

We had dinner here on June 5 and it was very good, the best calamari on property. The caesar salad was very fresh, the bread was delish, veggie lasagne was full of fresh roasted vegetables...the pasta fagioli (not soup) was ok, way too many capers in it. The best was dessert, a canolli cheesecake!

Had a nice mini booth in front of the Lady and the Tramp fountain.

Would eat here again for sure!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Generally the food is liked by all
Cons: Loud and tiny restrooms

We go to Tony's every trip. Not because it is fine dining, but it is a good meal that the entire family enjoys--Spaghetti.

We have always had good service and warm, well-prepared food.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): are there any?
Cons: bad bad bad food, horrible service, crowded and loud

Tony's is hands down the worst meal I have ever had on all of the Walt Disney property.

We arrived before our ADR and were shoved into the tiny waiting area with 50 or so of our closest disney fans, we waited an exceptionally long time with an ADR (in excessive of 30 minutes). We were finally shown to a table that practically was stacked on another. You couldn't even walk between the tables you had to go around to the end of the row to get to the other side. The resturaunt was very loud b/c of the close proximity of other dinners.

The server was MIA for a good 15 minute after we were seated which is unnacceptable but they were very busy so I let it go. This also seemed to be the case for several other tables around us as I could see many patiently waiting w/ menus in hand to order.

When our food arrived it was cold. And not good. My appetizer was tomatos and mozarella salad, the tomatoes were not ripe. This dish relies on the food being ready to eat as it is not cooked. I was quiet disappointed. My spaghetti (the noodles themselves) were stuck together in clumps and the sauce was just plain tomoto flavor.

I have had better 'italian' food out of a can. There is no excuse for Disney to take a wonderful concept like Tony's and turn it into a less than run of the mill overpriced Italian restuaraunt.

I would not recommend Tony's to ANYONE. Even if you have dining plan credits that will expire they are better used at Pecos Bill's or any snack stand.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): location, theme
Cons: FOOD

While I never expect exception food in a theme park, I feel that Disney is missing the boat on this restaurant. It is in a wonderful location. Italian is one of our favorite types of foods, but after our last meal here, counter service is better than Tony's.

The children's meal offerings are HORRIBLE. Neither of my children ate much but dessert. My meal was edible, but nothing that had me wanting more. I would recommend for the location ONLY, but could not recommend on the basis of the poor food quality.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Nice atmosphere, good service,
Cons:

When I attended Tony's my father and I were one of the first four tables to be seated. Before entering, the Dapper Dan's opened the restaurant by singing an Italian ballad. What a way to start!
The food here was good solid fare. My dad had the Panini of the day, which was enormous, and I had the Bianca flatbread.
The key thing abouyt this restaurant for us was the location, availability and the fact that it was a chance to have a table service meal in the Magic Kingdom.
The waiter was very friendly and was kind enough to take our picture, and the fountain centrepiece really does look spectacular.
I would definitley recommend this to friends.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): great desserts and good food!
Cons:

I know this restaurant gets a lot of bad press, but my family and I really enjoy it! We think the food is good to great and they have good desserts here too. It's a nice place to eat and ask if you can sit on the porch/balcony area so you can people watch from the comfort of an airconditioned room. It's really nice if you eat here during a parade as well and take a minute or two to rock in the rocking chairs outside!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Portion size
Cons: We experienced none

I know people are usually rough on Tony's but my family really enjoyed it. Our portions were huge and the atmosphere is excellent and relaxing. We felt the food quality was good and the service acceptable. Give it a try, we've always done well.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great atmosphere and theming, a/c, location
Cons: okay food

We have always had a table on the "outside," or in the sunroom area facing the street. We love the atmosphere here and have always had great service and a good time. I agree with some others that it could be soooo much more here. The food was a little bland to me, but I'm not much of an italian food eater.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): theme
Cons: food and service

We ate here on September 3rd and had the worst service and the food was just warm and not very good. We were very disappointed. we ate 6 table service meals this trip and Tony's did not even feel like it was in the same league. I heard it wasn't the best, but I went in with a positive additude. I was very unimpressed. Not up to Disney standards. PS the bathroom was super messy too.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): good food, friendly staff
Cons:

We were pleasantly surprised by our meal here after reading some iffy reviews. I had the chicken parm and it was very good (the sauce was not my favorite, but still good). DH had the spag with sausage and enjoyed it. DD#1 had the kids cheese ravioli and we all tried it and thought it was good. DD #2 had the spag meatb and it was pretty average. We requested a patio view and they seated us within 20 minutes. The service was great from our server, the hostess, and the manager who came to check on our meal. Will definitely go back on our next trip.
