Description: Several times a day, under a canvas canopy at Asia's Caravan Stage at the Animal Kingdom, the Flights of Wonder are performed. These 25-minute shows feature more than 20 species of free-flying exotic birds, including Harris hawks, Barbary falcons, macaws, ibis and yellow-naped Amazon parrots. The performance is centered on young Luke and his quest to the land of his ancestors as he searches for treasure with the help of a wise old Phoenix. Here they will encounter an incredible demonstration of birds of flight as the birds display their natural behaviors and talents. Some of these natural behaviors include swooping, soaring and hunting, as they respond to visual or auditory cues.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): interesting info
Cons: benches to sit on

We enjoyed the information as well as the acting. It gives us a chance to sit, sip water, and learn.
the birds are also beautiful and the show well laid out. The pace is well done. The tour guide is also a hoot.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great for kids just getting interested in animals
Cons: Can be hard to see around people in lower seats

Great break from the crowds and hustle of the pathways. Kids love the interaction and pace of the show, especially the close up interaction at the end.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): bird "tricks" and variety of birds
Cons: dumb story

This show is best when you can sit up close to see the birds best. Don't let your kids stand on the bench, as the raptors will fly low over your heads. For the experience of learning about birds and the break of having a cool seat for awhile, this is a nice distraction. Low key for the little ones, too. However, the story is so boring it might as well be left out. Stick around at the end and walk up to see some birds up close.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): educational, very nicely presented
Cons: hummm. none

Our family never misses this show. It is educational, as you learn about different birds and their habitat, and you get to see a beautiful bald eagle. I was able to sit on the staging area as part of the show to take a video of the hawk flying just over my head...beautiful.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Entertaining show, enjoyed seeing the birds natural skills
Cons: None

After many visits to Animal Kingdom, we decided to try this show, as we had heard good things about it. I really enjoyed it--I like that they showcase the birds natural skills rather than cheesy tricks like birds riding mini bicycles. It was informative and entertaining. It's not a must do on every trip for me, but it's definitely worth a visit if you've never seen it.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Educational and Entertaining
Cons:

This avian show is good entertainment for both children and adults and I believe everyone should see it at least once. I enjoy it each time I visit. Plus... It has CHICKENS!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): entertaining, minor educational value
Cons: maybe too much back story and not enough on the birds

An overlooked gem, an enjoyable show.

The CM do a little pre show out front where they actually have to encourage people to attend. Shame that most guide books give it little mention as it is a very nice demonstration.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): exoctic birds, entertaining
Cons: can be hot in the summer

Show is very entertaining especially for small children. It is done like a lot of other "zoo" shows but Disney does a much better job. See this before wasting your time with the Nemo musical.

Cons: Outside venue

If you've seen all the headliners then see this. Not a must see but we enjoy it.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Trained animal show and educational
Cons: Not something you would go back to over and over

If you have never seen this show, it's definitly worth going to. It is meant to not only be entertaing, but educational. It also pushes Disney's commitment to Wild Life conservation. I wouldn't call it a must see, but you should go a least once at some point.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Wonderful show!
Cons:

This is a great show, and the trainers and handlers really treat the animals with respect. Children love the exotic birds and all the training and performing techniques used.

The story drags a bit in places - might be time to update.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Fun
Cons: slow

I enjoy this show even if its a little cheesy. This is the standard bird show you would see at most large zoos, but with a little disney theme attached. The show is fun, entertaining and light hearted.
