Positive aspects of the product (pros): Location - next to O'Hanas, nice variety Cons: can take a long time to receive drinks
This bar is located right next to O'Hanas, and is convenient when you have to wait such a long time to be seated. The drinks have a unique Island flair, and are actually a good value. My biggest complaint is that it never seems to have enough staff, making ordering a receiving drinks a challenge.

their drink selection keeps you in the tropical vibe .. and the staff was more than accomodating. we had a party that was not all present (wandering to shops, peeking in at resaurants) ... and they remembered who ordered what, and delivered once everyone came back to the waiting area. drinks can be pricey, but no more than can be expected when on vacation. well worth a visit while waiting for ohana or kona.

This would be a 10, if it weren't so crowded by Ohana guests.
If you're at MK, it's great to hop on the monorail in the afternoon, have a refreshing beverage, and then head back to the park.
There is one bartender there who is especially good...he remembered my drink several days later!

My favorite lounge on property! We usually escape the Magic Kingdom one afternoon and cool off here. It's usually pretty dead when we go, but I imagine its proximity to Ohana and the Kona Cafe can make it really busy at night. Good seating, friendly bartenders, but what really makes this place special is that it's one of the few places on site that have retained its own unique cocktails on the menu. Everywhere else you might be able to get something they used to offer if you remember the name and the bartender remembers how to make it, but the Poly kept their cocktails on the menu. I order Backscratchers whenever I go!

Ahh... perfect tropical theming for a perfect bar. Imagine yourself in the islands of Hawaii, sipping some fruity drink out of a Tiki-looking glass with an umbrella. There you have this lounge. Great before or after a dinner at Ohana.

The drinks are great and the bartenders are super friendly, but the crowds from O'hana can put a damper on the atmosphere. Many hang out here while they're waiting for the buzzers to go off, which doesn't leave much room for actual patrons of the Lounge. It can be hard to find a seat and a bit chaotic. If it were a slow night, I would definitely go back, though.

This is my favorite lounge on Disney property. When it gets too hot in the parks, we'd go to cool off at the lounge. We have always sat at the bar and have had no issues with service. All the Disney resorts pretty much use the same drink menu, which is pretty lame. If you like your drinks strong, try the Backscratcher (yes, it comes with a backscratcher). As signature cocktails are expensive, I'd recommend a drink that has a better alcohol to fruit juice ratio or have a glass of wine to get the buzz goin'. Good times!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): close to MK Cons: sometimes understaffed
We love to go here when we want to get away from the craziness of the MK but still want to see wishes. We just jump on the monerail, get a drink or two, and an appetizer (they have the great wings from Kona!) and then head down to the beach to see Wishes!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Nice location between Kona Kafe and Ohana. Cons: Crowds.
Had to wait for table at Ohana last January. Killed 45 minutes sucking down pina coladas so by the time our table was ready we weren't even hungry anymore!

I have gotten drinks here twice. The first time was for my 21st birthday on 4/2, when I ordered the Island Sunset. It was very good and the alcohol wasn't overly strong, which I appreciated as I'm not a big drinker.
The other time was 5/2, while I waited for my table to be ready at Ohana. I chose the Lava Smoothie (non-alcoholic) and it was yummy, but by the time I was done I wasn't hungry for dinner!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Yummy Drink Cons: Had to battle our way to the bar, wait for seating.
A group of us visited the Tambu Lounge after a long conference day. At about 9:45pm the lounge seating was still packed with pre and post Ohana diners. All seats in the lounge and at the bar were full. I believe there were two bartenders, and they were constantly busy. One member of our group made her way to the front and ordered for everyone. I had a Malibu Macaw which disappeared in no time as it was scrumptious. A group vacated their seats after we go out drinks, and we quickly moved in. I would definitely consider visiting again but will be prepared for it to be busy.
