Positive aspects of the product (pros): Beautiful theming Cons: Noise from Boma
The decor here is beautiful, it overlooks Boma, so it can be a bit noisy. Chairs are comfy, it's dimly lit, great place to relax and cool off.
Have a lovely glass of wine, and enjoy the bread/dip appetizer.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Comfortable, nice location & view Cons: Can be noisy or busy
A comfortable spot to enjoy a drink or a glass of African wine. The bar over looks Boma and at times can get noisy or busy as people wait for their seating at Boma or Jiko. Later in the evening it quiets dowm. It is not very large but the seating is comfortable. I like to arrive after 7:00, sit at the bar and have a glass of wine. You can order food off of the Jiko menu. Handy to know if you are dining alone or can not get reservations for Jikos!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): friendly staff, beautiful area Cons: Noisy, seating hit or miss comfort wise
I love the Animal Kingdom Lodge but can't usually justify the expense of booking a stay at a Deluxe resort, so dinner and drinks at the Lodge is a good way for me to enjoy the wonderful theming and ambiance at this resort. This lounge has a great wine list along with the standard cocktail offerings found at all lounges at WDW. My only complaints is that due to its location right above Boma it can get pretty loud. Last time I was there they had someone playing drums in the Boma waiting area so it was particularly loud. Also while there are some comfortable chairs and couches here, I found the chairs at the tables near the railing to be a bit uncomfortable.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): good drinks, quiet Cons: lack of atmosphere
We went here several nights. Every time we went Boma was closed, so I found this place pretty quiet and a good place to talk. The only down side for me was a lack of themeing. To me it felt like just another upscale hotel bar.
I did try their signature drink, the Victoria Falls Mist. I did not think I would like it, but really enjoyed it and found it became my go to drink durring my stay. I did not think it was too expensive for a hotel bar.
