What can I say about V & A? The place is a whole different world. You are pampered. Don’t like the fish dish, pick something else or we will create something special for you. Vegetarian? No problem, you have an entirely separate menu. The food is incredible. It is totally focused on you but not overly obtrusive. Last time DD’s strap on her dress inexplicably snapped as she first sat down. “Victoria” was there in a nano-second asking if she could get a pin to reattach it.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Cuisine is for the most part very well done. Cons: Not all that when we went.
Sorry, I know people love it here, but when we dined, it really did not deliver especially on the service level.
Maybe V&A had a bad night, but there were periods of time during our meal (on a slow night) when a server could not be found. Bread was never offered to be replenished, a dish (dessert) was not eaten due to a preperation issue and when questioned by the server, no replacement or apology was offered. Food was close to the par we normally expected, and we often dine in four and five star establishments, but the service and atmosphere really did not work for us. Just one opinion.

Absolutely the best restaurant at WDW. Probably one of the finest in all of Florida.
From the time you arrive until you leave nothing is overlooked. Your own personal menu, a rose for the women, individual attention. Expect the meal to take a while - this is DINING, not merely eating out.

Can I give this one a rating of 20 instead of just 10! This is the absolute best place to dine in all of Walt Disney World. We've had the opportunity to dine there 3 times and each time was better than the last. I can't recommend this highly enough, especially for a special occasion. The food is outstanding and the service was absolutely the best. I even drink the coffee here (I normally don't drink coffee), just because I like watching how they prepare it at your table. In my opinion, this is an experience that everyone should try at least once in their lifetime.

My husband and I ate at Victoria and Albert’s in the main dining room on our first Disney visit last December and it was amazing. Truly one of the best meals of our lives; and we've had some pretty impressive meals and at some very well-known places. (We are foodies.) We did an all-red wine pairing (thanks to the sommelier) and all the wine, and the food, was spectacular.
I was particularly impressed with the fish course. I had the most perfectly cooked halibut, creamy, milky white inside and oh-so-moist with clams and corn chowder. I wanted to lick the bowl it was so good. My husband had the salmon (we ordered different items for each course to taste more) and, even though I’m not usually a huge fan, it was so perfectly cooked and seasoned I could have eaten three pieces.
The only thing I didn’t love was the smoked buffalo appetizer. It was really smoked, as in tasting like bacon, which wasn’t very appealing to me, but my husband enjoyed it. Everything else though, including the amazing amuse bouche with a tiny thimble of perhaps the best lobster bisque I ever tasted, was out-of-this-world. (Alas, though I begged, they wouldn’t give me any more.)
The service was impeccable. The only really weird thing was there is kind of a whisper dome in the main dining area. If you’re sitting in the right place, you can hear the conversation (just one person) of the diner across the room. And not just hear it, it’s like they’re in your ear. And it’s only that one person at the table. It’s actually a little creepy and, I imagine, what being schizophrenic might feel like (voices in your head). There’s also no warning or talk of it from the staff, and my husband couldn’t hear it from where he was seated, so for about three courses I thought I was losing my mind. (Goodness knows what the other diner thought when I started repeating everything they said to my husband and ever more agitatedly asking, ‘Now you must have heard that, right?!’)
This is a very expensive special occasion meal, but worth every penny. (Actually, it was the only meal we had at Disney that DIDN'T feel like a rip off.)
We are returning to Disney next month and have booked the chef's table and are even toying with the idea of scheduling a second main dining room trip in addition to that one. It's that good.

This was included in our honeymoon package back in 2003. We would never have been able to afford this otherwise.
It was truly a once in a lifetime experience. We have never dined at such a formal restaurant before.
We enjoyed trying all of the different items offered for each course.
I happily recommend this and hope that we can do it again some day.
