Elegant dining in a refined atmosphere. The service is impeccable. The menu tends toward the very up-scale offerings, as you would expect from this location. Food was well prepared and presented. We loved the aranchini appetizer, but wished there was more of it.

After California Grill, Citricos is my favorite restaurant. I actually preferred it over the CG on my last visit. The restaurant itself is beautiful, very similar to the CG, but less noisy (you don't hear other diner's conversations). The location at the GF is not great. There are plenty of windows, but the view is of the GF bldgs, rather then an MK view which would have been nice. The service is phenomanal. I had goat cheese truffles for my starter, which was good, but I wish I had gotten something different. They were just balls of feta on lettuce. For my entree I had the short ribs which were delicious. They were so tender, I cut them with my fork. I didn't have dessert, but a glass of Royal Tokaji instead, yummy.

Easily my favorite restaurant at WDW, and perhaps one of my favorite restaurants anywhere. I've eaten here twice, and both times have been tremendously impressed with the quality of the food and service. The wait staff is very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about the menu. They know when to check on you and when to disappear. The food is just amazing. One of the best steaks I've ever had (the Sicilian filet) was had here, and the only mashed potatoes I've ever had that were tasty enough to dream about were here as well. Their tira misu (which I'm usually not a fan of) is definitely the best I've had anywhere.
The atmosphere is luxurious, but very casual. Very open and well decorated, but relaxed as well. The chairs are absurdly comfortable for a dining room, and the restaurant layout is very spacious. There's no special view or theming, but honestly I don't feel this restaurant suffers because of that. The quality of the food and service is reason enough to make ADRs here, and I imagine that this will be a Must Have ADR for me on every trip to the world. A very underrated Disney restaurant. Superb in everyway and worth the $$!

A pleasant surprise. 5/09 first time visit, we found the atmosphere very comfortable and the service first rate. Menu and wine list were both varied enouigh for interesting selections. Food quality was first rate.
Only downside of our visit (which was not a fault of the restaurant) was a neighboring table where a toddler ranted for over an hour while their older brother ran around the table with no intervention by their dining parents. Part of the Disney dining experience I guess.

This is a restaurant we hadn't been to in many, many years and we were extremely pleased with it on our trip last November. The food was all delicious and the service was first rate. Our children (ages 13 and 9) have already declared this a place to return to on our next trip.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Citricos. In keeping with the "What will you celebrate?" theme, Citricos prepared 2 custom menus for us to keep. These are the same as the regular menus, but they were personalized and said happy anniversary with our names on it.
I had a tuna appetizer, which was delicious. My husband ordered wine to go with his dinner. The waitress brought him over two wines to try. When he asked her why she said she just wanted him to taste them. It turns out that the chef is a trained sommelier and he picked a particular wine to be paired with my husband's dinner. On a blind taste test, my husband did, in fact, prefer the wine that the chef picked out. This made the meal even more enjoyable for him.
I had short ribs for dinner. They were fall off the bone delicious. For dessert, we shared a warm chocolate banana tart that was incredible. The chocolate that they decorate the cake with for your "celebration" is Godiva, so it makes a delicious dessert even better.
The coffee at Citricos is Illy and it is made in a french press. It's a great change of pace from the usual Nescafe you'll find in the parks. The waitress was happy to bring us refills. She also sent us back to the hotel with biscotti made in Citricos' kitchen for the next morning's breakfast.
This was a great meal. It's expensive, but worth it. I would recommend this for a special occasion.

this was our 1st meal of our trip, and it was delicious. loved everything we had here. we were on the deluxe dining plan, so we each had a app. DH the shrimp, and myself the duck confit, neither one of us were going to order these apps, but James our excellent waiter recommended them so we stepped outside the box and ordered everything he recommend that night, and we were so happy we did. For dinner DH had the veal osso bucco I had the short ribs, we both haven't had an entree that good since then. dessert lemon cheesecake and the creme brle. over the 2 lemon cheesecake was the better. this was a great start to our dining. definetley our favorite so far, but we are trying narcoosee's tonight....

Citricos was WONDERFUL! It was the first signature restaurant we tried during our WDW trip in March 2010. We had dinner reservations for 8pm-ish...can't remember the exact time (planning to see fireworks before dinner)...but it was so cold that day that we headed over to the Grand early and asked if there was any way to move our reservation up (they helpfully obliged). Surprisingly enough, we were seated and received our appetizers in time to enjoy the fireworks across the restaurant (out the window) -- beautiful view!
We were on the deluxe dining plan and for my nonalcoholic bev I had the french pressed hot tea - Pear Tree Green tea. I loved it so much that upon returning home I had to track it down (turns out it's from Vancouver, BC and is expensive....but SO worth it!!).
Our appetizers were the Sauteed Shrimp with lemon, white wine, tomatoes and feta cheese -- YUM -- and the Seared Tuna Carpaccio. I am not a sushi person....until Citricos!!!! This was delectable!! I have been craving the Tuna so much! Hubby loved his shrimp....and he's a picky and somewhat plain eater....not anymore!! (His quote from the trip: "Disney isn't about the parks, it's about the food!"
Our entrees were equally superb -- hubby had the Braised Short Ribs -- his comment was that it was a party in his mouth! He is now in love with polenta I had the Oak-grilled Swordfish -- AMAZING!!!
Our dessert selections were the Tropical Creme Brulee (hubby -- LOVED it!) and the Warm Chocolate Banana Torte (mine -- melt in your mouth goodness!!!). The portions were wonderful -- we left really full, but very satisfied, feeling like we'd eaten well and actually eaten healthy.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Citricos -- RUN, do not walk, there as fast as you can!

This is a place to go when you want fine dining at DW. It is slow, because you are likely getting multiple courses. However, the food was incredible. This is not a kid place, but they definitely accomodate to kids, bringing their food out early and bringing them some more, if needed. Definitely will go back.

We dined here for the first time in November and were extremely pleased. The food is excellent, especially the chocolate dessert!!!
The only con would be that the server was a bit on the slow side.
Would dine here again.

We had reservations for 8 pm. Arrived and were told it might be close to an hour before they could get us a table. Once seated we began our meal with an added cost appetizer $12. We ordered our food, she got a real nice Steak Filet and I got a small bit of swordfish. I do mean small. How they justify the price at that place is beyond me. For the price paid it was the poorest meal we had during a two week stay at Disney. Don't waste your money here....go to that little hidden place at Old Key West called Olivia's. Now there they have some great food and it doesn't cost you twice what it should have.
