This is a nice, relaxed place to eat. Comfortable seats with a menu that has a lot of comfort food kind of choices. Service is good and the prices aren't bad considering its Disney.
Don't go here expecting a fine dining experience. Its just like a favorite neighborhood restaurant.

Olivia's was a nice departure from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks. It has a very "I'm in my friend's home" atmosphere. They have the same pineapple-coconut bread that Ohana has (and it's still delicious even outside of the Poly). I had the best buttermilk fried chicken I've ever had there (it takes them something like two days to prepare it). The prices are very reasonable, and it's a nice boat-ride away from DTD. It's a hidden gem.

Key Lime Tart is AWESOME.
We always eat at Olivia's, it's not fancy, but the food is good, atmosphere not fancy but relaxing. We love sitting out on the patio.

This location has a nice laid back feel to it. The crab cake appetizer is very good as is the conch chowder. This restaurant is almost never filled to capacity and is usually a good spot to stop in without an advance reservation.
A nice after dinner activity is to take the boat from Old Key West over to the Downtown Disney Marketplace. This is a nice relaxing ride.

We visit Olivia's everytime we visit DW. For the price it is a good value. Usually for the most part we just do walk up and always get a seat. We have done lunch and dinner so I can't report on breakfast.
The burgers are very good and juicy. I did have
the Key West Sirloin Steak Salad which was very good. Now for the best item for desset you must order their keylime tart!!! The first time I ordered it me and my husband to share ....well no more Mr. nice guy I now order one for myself.

The restaraunt itself was nice and a nice atmosphere. The food was only so so. My son got the pizza and it was inedible. I have had better frozen pizza. The adult entrees were better, but nothing to write home about.
Lunch for 4 adults (sandwiches and drinks)and a kid's pizza was about $100. I think pricey for what we got, even at Disney

Visited September 2009- My husband and I really enjoyed the walk every morning to Olivia’s Café. We had breakfast every day there and would then get on the busses and head out for the day. The décor is very nice, clean, bright and cheerful. The wait staff was all very friendly and we never had the same person twice but everyone says good morning! Every day I would try something different. The Bananas French toast is to die for, and the Conch eggs benedict were very good and unusual. We are from NY and had never tried grits and my husband gave it a try one morning and was hooked. We did not have any other meals besides breakfast but we loved the time that we did have at Olivia’s Thank you!!

For a recent quick trip down to Disney for my daughters 8th birthday we had the pleasure of booking a reservation (last minute) at Olivia's Cafe. Without knowing what to really expect we were very pleasantly surprised. Had a 5:00 pm ressie and were seated immediately upon arrival (always a plus with 2 little ones). The crayons on the table kept them busy as my wife an I looked at all the beachy decor. The waiter was very prompt and attentive. I ordered the prime-rib, while my wife had the Mahi. Both order were perfect. I haven't seen a piece of prime-rib that big in quite a while. We were so impressed with the place we ended up doing breakfast there on our last morning. The breakfast service was a little slow, but the food did not disappoint. The Banana Bread French toast was out of this world. Something tells me this is going to become a regular stop when we are in the Orlando area.

Olivia's is not a fancy restaurant with fancy food. Its just basic good home cooking, strong on comfort food. Prices are reasonable (for Disney). Great place to go for just a simple meal with something to please just about everybody.

We had a large party, nine people. We were seated quickly without a reservation. The food was excellent, for lunch. The beef and blue sandwich and a special trio of salads were a big hit amongst our group. They surprised us with a birthday sundae for one of our group who was celebrating his 5th birthday, and wearing his button. It does have a limited menu, but the quality of what they have makes up for that. We would go again, if staying at the resort.

Out of a two week stay we took a day off of Disney parks and just wandered around. This place was one of those gems that you find and just can't believe you hadn't heard about it before. The wife had the Shrimp pasta dish which was so large there was no way she could finish it. I had the Prime Rib, the size of the steak almost covered the plate. I had just a little bit of Horseradish on the side. It was the best Steak I had out of our two week stay. Very difficult and time consuming to get here but well worth the effort and time if you can spare it. We had a waiter by the name of Mark, he comes with our highest recommendation.

My DH & I ate here on our honeymoon in 08/09 using the DDP. We had no trouble obtaing the ADR and were seated immediately upon arrival. It was a relaxing and romantic boat ride over from Downtown Disney (5min).
I had primerib and loved it except for the fact they do not offer aujus; they did put the sauce on the side for me thankfully. DH had the New York strip & was pleased. Dessert was ok but nothing to rave over. The keylime tart didn't live up to the hype.

Enjoyed a really nice breakfast here. At the time this place didn't have many good reviews, so I was going out on a limb trying it. But we had terrific service and excellent food.
Can't wait to be back and try it again!
