Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great food, Excellent service Cons: Nothing
My family typically visits Disneyland once a year and makes a point to eat at Blue Bayou each time, as our big "fancy" meal. However, since we have been somewhat unhappy with quality of food and service at BB our past few visits we decided to try Steakhouse 55 (August 2008). I am SO glad we decided to give it a try! Our family absolutely LOVED it.
We came over to Steakhouse 55 after a long, hot day in the part, and although it is more of an upscale restaurant, we did not feel the least bit out of place in our shorts and t-shirts.
The food was EXCELLENT. I had the chicken and my husband has the bone-in ribeye. We each got the potato stack, as a side. And we tried the sauteed green beans and steamed asparagus. My husband RAVED about the rib-eye and the chicken was seasoned just right and mouth watering! Our kids (7 & 11) ordered off the kids menu and enjoyed their choices, as well (especially the french fries - which wasn't on the menu, but our server made it happen without worry).
The service was TOP NOTCH from the moment we got there until the minute we left. Our server made sure all of our needs were taken care of and readily offered suggestions (we couldn't decide on side dishes).
Steakhouse 55 is our new "must do" on each visit to Disneyland!

My husband I decided to celebrate our anniversary here. We spent all day in the parks and came to dinner wearing shorts with nice shirts. They started us off with some of the best French bread I've ever had- just the right amount of crunch in the crust and soft inside.
Next we ordered salads. My husband had the Caesar Salad and I had the Spring Greens with Candied Pecans and Raspberry Vinaigrette. I am normally a Ranch salad person but since that wasn't offered, I decided to try this. I'm glad I did. The vinaigrette tasted like they had crushed fresh raspberries. In fact, there were also whole raspberries in the salad. I was very surprised to find that was one of the best salads I've ever had.
For our main course my husband and I both had the 7oz Filet Mignon which was very good. For sides, I had the garlic mashed potatoes and my husband had the seasonal mushrooms to put on his steak. They bring them on separate plates making them easy to share. We both liked the two sides which is saying something because my husband has never cared much for mashed poatoes.
We told them we were there to celebrate our anniversary when we made the Prority Seating and also we wore our anniversary pins. Our waitress (who was excellent, by the way) brought out a chocolate mousse with "Happy Anniversary" written in chocolate. To go with this my husband had a coffee and liqueur drink that the waitress had recommnend.
Steakhouse 55 was an wonderful choice for our anniversary dinner. It is expensive, but the quality of food makes it worth the price. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. The food and service was excellent.
