If you are at Coronado, and you have no car to go offsite, you will find this to be a handy location to grab something. Otherwise, nothing special and no particular reason to stop here.

Nice selection of gelato and they let you sample the flavours before you choose which one you want. yummy!

The bakery items are terrific. They are made on site too! The dining options are good as well.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Coffee bar, Krispy Kreme Donuts Cons: Small, narrow space
Maybe it's because this is a conference resort, but the Rix Cafe had items I've never had at other quick service resort locations. Krispy Kreme donuts! In the Northeast we have limited access to these and the donuts, while not hot, were fresh. A decent coffee bar with real espresso drinks was a great touch.
