Positive aspects of the product (pros): Cool and comfortable Cons: Mediocre food
Typical mediocre counter service. Nothing special, nothing really bad. The ordering process was slow. Not much in the way of variety. In the middle of the afternoon they had a CM in the dining area offering free cookie decorating for the kids.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Food is OK Cons: Caferteria style food pickup confused me
I thought the food I got and the price was adequate considering that yu are at Disney. What I didn't like was the process to get your food. The layout was weird and we got confused. Luckily we went at a slower time and people were nice and let us bounce out of the checkout line to grab some things we had missed.

Basically standard for Disney counter service, Roaring Forks is in a convenient location. In addition to refilling our mugs here, we ate breakfast twice and dinner once.
For breakfast, I liked the choices - pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, potatoes, bacon, muffins, bagels, etc. The croissant sandwiches were tasty, and there was some nice fruit available. Dinner consisted of burgers, sandwiches, pizza, salads and chicken fingers. I did really enjoy the pasta salad and found the sandwiches to be very fresh. (There are also some good veggie options here.)
The complication at this location is the layout. There are two different sections for hot/cold food, meaning you may have to wait in line twice if you don't have enough adults to wait in both lines simultaneously.

We liked the convience of Roaring Forks but found it could get really crowded at main meal times. The space wasn't big enough to accomodate the lines to pay and the lines for people ordering food.

very good for grabbing a bite to take with us. Dinners were all good, especially sandwiches and desserts.

I agree that this is typical counter service food. Prices are very reasonable for WDW, and much lower than here at Hershey Park, for example. I agree also that it is too confusing which line to get into and to pay, there are two and three registers, and no rhyme or reason to the lines. It is like a freeway, and people are jockeying for position...Very convenient when you are hungry...quick service and nice CM's

I have eaten at the Roaring Fork many times over the course of my three stays at the Wilderness Lodge. I must say that it is quite a convenient little place with a decent variety of food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Also, the fact that it is open until 11 pm (at least, that was closing time the last time I was at the Wilderness Lodge) makes it a convenient place to get a late-night snack. The Roaring Fork offers the Resort Refillable Mug option, which not only saves money, but also time, seeing as you don't have to stand in line every time you want coffee, tea, soda, et cetera. The one downside to this restaurant is that it gets particularly crowded at certain points of the day, which makes getting a seat inside rather challenging at times. The crowds also make the amount of time spent in line less than optimal. It's still a quick, convenient place to get a decent meal, and I suggest it if you are on the go looking for something quick.

We have always enjoyed the food here, so much so we have skipped eating in the parks to eat here instead. Almost everything is made to order, or at least made the same day. Some items are better than others, but everything was at least acceptable. Some of our favorites are the sandwiches, flat bread pizzas, burgers and chicken fingers (these may have been replaced by nuggets now) We also enjoy the variety of bakery items. All of the workers we have encountered here have been friendly and professional.

Very limited menu, small room that can get quite crowded. Long line to pay if you go during popular times.
Not much to choose from. Need more hot items and sandwich choices.

As others have said, the layout is a little odd, but no problem after you navigate it for the first time. There are two counters to order entrees from. One offers sandwhiches (which were huge and delicious), pasta salad, and soup. The other counter offers burgers, pizza, and nuggets. In between the lines are refrigerator cases with bottled beverages and also the dessert case. Against the back wall is the self serve beverage station and ice cream station. This is where you can get fountain drinks, coffee, tea, refill your resort mugs, or get frozen yogurt. There is also another refrigerated case with ice cream packages and another containing single serve fruit and vegetable packages. The check out line is to your left when you enter the area. The cast members were very helpful when asking dining plan questions. (Remember- if you get a Quick Service breakfast, you get two drinks with it- one juice and one bottled water.)
We were there for nine days over the 4th of July holiday and never found the lines to be too long or had trouble with seating.
They open @ 6 am for continental breakfast items, start serving cooked breakfast items @ 7 am. They close @ 11 pm.

I would recommend that you go to this food court. It is small and crowded and the food choices leave something to be desired. On the bright side there are plenty of places to sit. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Ate here on Aug 15 and 16...both times it was super crowded and very loud.
The first day we had the adult breakfast platter with eggs (awesome), hash browns (awesome), rubbery fatty greasy bacon and a very undercooked greasy biscuit. We had some melon that was too hard and had no flavor and the best pecan cinnamon bun in the world, loaded with icing and super soft and gooey and served warm.
The second day we go a side of eggs( a huge plate and again it was delish) a side of hash browns (same as the eggs), oatmeal, a huge cup of berries (blueberries strawberries and raspberries and they were all very good!) and another pecan cinnamon bun....
The one negative is the lack of seating and the very loud volume of the place
