Positive aspects of the product (pros): Broadway quality show, great theater Cons: not a lot of shade while you wait in line, and you have to get in line early for a good seat!
This is the very best show I have ever seen in the parks. The costumes, props, set and theater are all amazing. Every seat in the house has a good view, but I enjoy sitting on the bottom level in the second section (back) from the stage for the best view. The Genie is amazing and does a fantastic job. Adults and children will love this show. Just be aware that this is a 40 minute show and there are no bathrooms in the main theater area, so you need to take your kids to the bathroom before you go inside. And especially at busy times of year you need to get in line early for a good seat. The first showing is usually the most crowded and if you can wait for the last showing it is usually the least crowded as people are starting to hop over to Disneyland for the evening. DO NOT plan on saving seats for anyone or meeting up with your group when you get inside. Your group needs to get in line together and stay together the entire time because this show gets very crowded and you will not be able to find your party when you get inside the HUGE theater. They open up sections and when they fill up, they close the doors and lead the crowd to the next section, you do not get to wander around to find seats. This is an absolute DO NOT MISS attraction that will be one of the highlights of your trip for sure!

In my opinion, the absolute best stage show at Disneyland or WDW. Highly skilled performers, amazing sets and top-notch theater combine to make this a must-see show. Dark on certain days, so check your schedule.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Air conditioning Cons: long and boring
If it's hot and you need somewhere to go sit and relax for a bit...this is the place. However if you are used to seeing real broadway shows this will be a let down. The only positive we found besides being cool inside was the genie. He was the only one we found to be entertaining. The rest of the show was cheesy and seemed amature. We expected more out of this show.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): EVERYTHING!! Cons: Waiting in line early and in the sun.
An incredible show from the very beginning until the end. The Genie is hilarious, keeping his humour current and up to date! The singing and dancing are wonderful, great costumes, great set, great music. Really incredible parade for Prince Ali's entrance! Don't miss this! The only drawback is the wait out in the sun. Get there early and try for a seat in the front row of the mezzanine!

This is a must-see musical spectacular. I think it is Broadway-quality, and will be especially loved by any fans of the Aladdin movies. The acting and singing are amazing, the costumes and effects are stunning, and the Genie's improv changes the show slightly each time. I have seen this show with people of all ages and none of them have been disappointed.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Music, production, Genie Cons: outside waiting area
The show itself was excellent and pretty faithful to the movie presentation. The actor playing the Genie is the star and really hams it up with the audience. Lots of timely references injected into the humor. All of the actors did a fine job and the set pieces worked well.
As others have said, you do need to queue up early to get a good seat. We got in line about forty minutes before the first show of the day. We were towards the back of the bottom level, but could still see well. The waiting area is only partially shaded and you will be out there until about 10 minutes before the show starts. So, hit the rest rooms before getting in line and bring some water to stay hydrated while you wait.

Still has to be the best Disney stage show ever! After several years of seeing this show it is still fresh and well worth the visit. Why? Simple.... Genie! He changes up his jokes to fit new culture, news, etc. Always a little different.
Don't miss this one!

This is the best stage production to see. We loved it!. I had always heard how wonderful the show was and I was a bit skeptical going in. But it was truly amazing.

We have seen this show again and again over the years. As many have mentioned the Genie keeps it up to date and always changing. I'm amazed by the detail in the costumes and the actors/actresses are amazing. Not a bad seat in the house so don't stress if you don't arrive early.
