Positive aspects of the product (pros): service pretty good Cons: very worn, noisey
We ate here 8/08. We were promptly seated. The service was pretty good, not excellent, but high fair/good. I had the lobster tails, my tween had something from the kids menu (can't remember what). My portion was good, hers was very small. The food was average.
Now that they've removed the lobster tails, I doubt we'll be returning. This place needs a "makeover".

Did not enjoy this meal. Shrimp were tiny and not cooked well. Prices too high. Nice waterfront beachy feel for the location, though.

No one in my family was happy with this restaurant. We had eaten at Brown Derby a bit earlier where my mom had her first crabcake, and was so happy to see it on the menu at Capt. Jack's... but it was very obvious it was canned crab meat, much like tuna fish. Nothing that we had, other than the cokes, was any good. Hopefully we just caught them on a bad day, but we won't be going back to find out.

I love Lobster. This is a great place for Lobster and also has a good variety for the non-seafood people. It makes Downtown Disney worth going to .

Great location and good food, but very little options. Also, our waiter even said "I like [this item on the menu], but they don't give you a lot."

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Cons: poor food quality and long wait
Captain Jack's was the only resturaunt accepting walk up seating with a wait under 1 hour so we decided to give it a try. This should have been an indication of what we were in for. The food was so so, but definately not deserving of the price they charge. It basically is a Captain D's (fast food fish) meal served at nice table with a nice sit down price.
We would not recommend this to a friend.

This is one of my husband's favorite restaurants. I can find something on the menu I like, but it's not a must do for me. Our server was WONDERFUL. She was very friendly, and she visited without being annoying. We had a great view of Downtown Disney, and this is a nice, quiet table service meal in Downtown. Those are hard to find.
We had lunch here and the food was good. I would not hesitate to go back.

We ate here in August 08. Both my wife & I had the lobster. We both felt that for the price it was at best average. The service was also average We were lucky enought to have a table overlooking the lake.

Food was at the lowest quality out of every place we ate at. No choices, small portions and did i mention disgusting tasting food!!!! You will have better quality food and better tasting if you go to Mcdonalds instead!!!!

I really expected crab cakes that would be memorable; but despite the wonderful waitress (named Marina), the food was forgettable and a bit small in portions.

Because we were on the dining plan we tried it. Very limited menu, and not tasty once you get it, restaurant appears worn down (and I'm pretty sure it's not theming), and the servers were in no rush - sweet - just SLOW!!: Posted via eTicket
