Its just a train ride...but it goes around the Magic Kingdom!! I wish some of the old effect were still in place, but its a blast riding the train around. Not the fastest way from point A to B, but relaxing.

The Walt Disney World train is a good way to get off your feet for a while and on your first visit, it helps you get an idea of where lands are located in the World and the "size" of the park overall.
If you have young ones, they can help the conductor by being allowed to announce All Aboard. Just ask a Castmember in the station.

Anyone who has ever studied Walt Disney the man knows of his love for trains. Disney Imagineers found these locomotives years ago and transformed them into the unique rail line we know today. The route takes you all around the park, and the chug of the steam engines and the whistle blowing is a wonderful experience to savor. It is easy to imagine Walt himself riding around the park - he would have loved it!

Just a fun classic ride. A great way to move around the park, not the most efficient or the quickest. It's a easy 20 min break from walking and it's cool and shaded.

When your feet are hot and sweaty and you just need to chill...this is an ideal attraction, you could even take a snooze if you have a willing person with a spare shoulder to snooze on.

This is always a must do attraction for me. Some people use it as transportation. I myself just enjoy riding it. It's a classic ride.

What a wonderful way to experience the nostalga of the parks and enjoy a nice ride around. I love hopping on in Toontown and taking it to Adventureland and then when we are done in Adventureland we jump on there and it takes us back to Main Street. I love the sights in between and resting our feet on a fun way to get around the parks!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Continuous. A fun ride and a great way to get to different sections of the park too. Cons:
This is a fun way to rest your feet and also a good way to get to Frontierland or Mickey's Toontown. It is also the only ride that you can ride continuously. You could get on in the morning and ride it all day if you wanted without ever getting off. Great for a nap, if needed! Some cool things to see along the way. Great for kids and adults.

This is a wonderful place to take a load off, but there isn't as much to look at as you might think. Just remember how much Walt Disney loved trains as you listen to the "all aboard"s and it is much more enjoyable.

Transports you back to an age gone by. Real steam engine pulling cars that transport guests around the Park. This attraction harkens back to Walt's love of trains.

This makes a nice break away from the crowds if you'd like to sit down a bit and see some scenery in the process. Some of the track-side effects don't work properly anymore and the audio can be a little crackly, but it's still a great experience. Can be a handy shortcut for getting out of the parks if you're back in Frontierland or Toon Town and feel like riding around to Main Street (especially useful during parade time), but otherwise definitely more of a ride than a transportation option.

I think this is a classic Disney staple. I enjoy it as a ride, and sometimes for transportation, but most of all for the sound of the whistle! Whenever I hear that whistle either from across the lake, at the entrance to the park, or in my home videos it sends my heart soaring! It sets the stage for the romantic olden' days with a big dash of fantasy and a fist-full of adventure.
As a ride it is great. I especially like to hop on when my feet need a little bit of a break. I'll ride once or twice around and I'm all fresh and ready to go again! For transportation, I think if you're in a hurry this may not be the best option, but if you're enjoying the parks at a more moderate pace then this is a great way to get across the park to a different land.

On Sat. 4/25 & Tues. 4/28 we were forced off the train! I will never ride again!
Here's the story. Maybe I'm extremely unlucky but as we left MK for naptime, we thought we would ride the train on our way out the park. Big Mistake! We left the stroller at the station got on & we forced off at Toontown & had to walk the children w/o the stoller (like I said it was nap time) So on Tues. morning we thought we would give the train a second try, this time taking the stroller with us (Thank God) We were headed for Toontown and we were forced off the train in Frontierland. PS. The up ramp is hidden off to the far left of the station, we asked 3 CM who sent us in the center tunnels - these are exit ramps only

We enjoy taking a ride around the Magic Kingdom when we have the time. It's a great way to zip over to Frontierland from the entrance of the park. That way you miss the crowds on Main Street! Since Splash Mountain and Big Thunder are our favorites, it makes sense to hit that area before the rest of the crowds get there!

I like being able to sit back and relax after walking for a while. It is a little bit slow, but that means more resting time. Not a bad ride, especially when its time to take a break.

Love this train around the World! Love everything about it, it is fun for all ages. The wait can be long at times, but the line move fast. I love that it stops in 3 areas. Nice for a cool off break too

If you get to the Magic Kingdom at opening you can see the "Lilly Belle" train, named after Walt Disneys wife Lillian Disney. This train was also built the same year as Mickey Mouse, 1928. It is the green train, so look out for her!
