Positive aspects of the product (pros):
friendly staff
Cons:
location - you'll miss it if you don't know where to look
Went in there last summer to purchase personalized ears for a family friend. The store had lots to choose from and the staff was very helpful! They had the "do-it-yourself" ears that you could put together with different materials. They had tons of merchandise - almost too much lol! They also sold regular hats and visors there - not just the stuff to get personalized. They were very quick about getting the names done on the hats and shipped the stuff back safely to our resort. Of course the price of the personalization has gone up over the years, but it's something you need to do at least once!

I got my 2012 graduation ears here on 5/9. For some reason, I always thought the embroidery was free with the purchase of ears, but it was $3 for the traditional script, and $7 for the other two options. I went with the gold traditional and was very pleased with the outcome.

Positive aspects of the product (pros):
Classic
Cons:
Small
No better place to get your ears and have your name stitched on the back. It can get cramped if it's busy. It's a small area.

We hit the Chapeau first thing when entering the MK on the first day of my most recent trip to WDW, as I was wanting to get some sort of hat/ears for the trip and I had heard that this is the place for them. I had recently also heard about the "Year of the Ear" couture ears and figured this would be the place to find them.
They had very nice CMs in this small store and were very knowledgeable when it came to pointing out these limited edition ears that I was in search of. They were quite helpful in the way of offering embroidery on the hat and when I had a questions about them, they did not hesitate to find the answer quickly and happily. I wore these ears the entire trip and had many CMs and other guests ask me where they been purchased and I happily sent them to the hat shop in the MK.
The experience that was had in the store was so simple and easy that we even returned a few days later to get a pair of ears embroidered for my boyfriend's mom and they were beautifully done in just a few minutes without any hassle. I will be going back to get another hat at the Chapeau on the very first day of my next visit, I'm sure.
