Last Review Posted Beach Club Resort
We just got back from our first trip to the Beach Club. The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in. We had 3 adults and 1 child and we were very comfortable. Never ran into each other once! I loved the flat screen tv build out. Very nice woodwork. The room's amenities and housekeeping were excellent.

We are conservative, so we reused our towels when we could and brought back pool towels for our hair which we reused as well. 3 of us have really long, curly hair, so we had to ask for extra conditioner.

Our requests for a daybed and near smoking were met. We were right on the closest walkway to EPCOT.

The lobby of the hotel reminds me of a mansion. It was generally very lovely, but in the morning crowded and loud from all the kids going to Cape May. This was OK, because I like to people watch and that was a great opportunity.

SAB was awesome, the sand bottom felt really relaxing on our aching feet. Also, I loved the Flying Jib. I didn't want to go down at first because I thought it was a closed tube ride, but upon climbing to the top and looking through, you can see the light at the end of the tunnel and it's no biggie for those of you who don't like those kind of slides. Brave it, it will be a blast for all you kids at heart!

The staff was nice and lifeguards were very friendly.

We used the laundry by quiet pool on our last night. Hot tub was great!

Poached eggs at Capt. Grille were the best I've EVER tasted.

Unfortunately, even though we went off season and resort was no where near crowded, I must complain about the food service and options at Marketplace. Nothing satisfied. BTW just because you bought a refillable mug, does not mean you can put your cup in front of my face to fill up - you still need to wait your turn. This place really needs a dedicated and larger food service area.

Buses were also a drag. Well, not the buses, but the people waiting for the buses who refuse to stand to wait and give dirty looks to those who line up. Where else would we stand? I like to avoid that kind of confrontation, so I took the long walk through EPCOT to ride the monorail to MK. It was the best time of all with my DD7. We rode Spaceship Earth and gift shop crawled all the way to the entrance!

The only other bad thing was that the CMs at the desk couldn't get on the Spirit website to check me in or print boarding passes. I know this is a DISNEY issue, not an airline issue. I myself work for a company who restricts access to certain websites for their own ridiculous reasons. I have nothing nice to say about them (LOL). Needless to say, I happily took the walk to the Yacht Convention Center to have the passes printed there for a small fee.

Overall, I loved the Beach Club. It was amazing! and I look forward to staying here again after I mark a few more deluxes off my list and re-visit my all time favorite, Boardwalk.
