Polynesian Resort The price of this resort puts it out of range for a lot of people who would love to experience it. However, when you have a resort this beautiful and well staffed, one could argue that you have a right to charge a lot for a room. This is one of the original Disney resorts (opened in 1971) and you would never know its age by looking at the rooms, buildings or grounds. Disney at its absolute best.
