Positive aspects of the product (pros): thrilling and intense! Cons: may cause motion-sickness
When we first went on this ride, we decided to try green, because one of the precautions for the orange ride was if you would get sick because of spinning. I've always been the girl to throw up on the Tilt-a-whirl so I figured that applied to me lol. However, after going on the green ride, we wanted to know what the orange was like so we decided to try it. I AM SO GLAD WE DID! I didn't feel sick at all (even though I kept a sickness bag by me at all times just in case lol!) We had a blast on this ride and I would reccomend either the orange OR green to anyone!

I think that Mission Space is one of the best rides in Epcot. The take-off is probably the closest thing that one you will ever get to actually experiencing a take-off, unless of course you are an astronaut. The "interactive" ride gives a feeling of importance to the riders, and the fact that the ride seems realistic only adds to the enjoyment. On the negative side, the ride can bother those with motion-sickness (at least for the more intense version) or those with claustrophobia, seeing as you are basically in a confined space for the whole ride.
There are two options for this ride, the "more intense" option and the "less intense" option. I personally recommend the more intense version of the ride, seeing as it feels so much more real. This is one of my favorite rides, and it cannot be missed.

The orange side is definitely intense - too intense for my husband, who makes me ride of the green side, which is just a simulator without the G forces. For someone who likes thrills, the green side is lame and not worth your time - Star Tours throws you around more.

This attraction can be very fun as long as you are not xxxx or get motion sick easily. It is very intense, but if you've ever dreamed of being an astronaut, this is the attraction to try it out!

The ride has teo options, one with no spin. The no spin was fine for me and I couldn't do the spin. It is great if you can handle the spins. It is a classic and can have long waits.

The concept of using spinning to create the illusion of the g-forces during takeoff is ingenious and makes this ride incredibly unique and thrilling. However, even though the ride is just a few years old, the computer-generated movie that you watch during the ride is already looking outdated, so that's somewhat disappointing. I guess they could redo the movie rather easily, but only time will tell if that actually happens. However, because the movie is generally uninteresting, I wouldn't recommend riding the "green team" of this ride as feeling the force is the most incredibly part of the ride. Please go for the orange team. The warnings are ridiculous, as I don't know anyone who ISN'T made uncomfortable by spinning and enclosed dark spaces, but if you've been on thrill rides in the past you should be able to handle this without any problem.

I had promised to go on this ride after it launched with my DS, DBIL, and DB.
It was amazing, but there was one thing I wasn't prepared for, and that was how it closes up on you. I have mild claustrophobia and while I was able to deal with it after I calmed down, initially I was like, WTH?
It was an amazing experience, moving the controller, and the landing at the end.
I was close to puking, but it ended before I did and was able to cool down before anything came up (which would have been little).

This is a very realistic and intense ride and once was enough for me. I am prone to motion sick so this may not be for someone who can easily get motion sick. As you go through the line, there are a lot of interesting things to look at that gets you ready for "launch". But please make sure you are in good health and carefully consider if you can handle this ride or not.

My son loves this attraction, especially the intense experience. My husband rode on this when it first opened and didn't feel well for the rest of the evening. He hasn't tried the less intense version yet. I've been on both versions and prefer the less intense one, but will do the more intense with my son sometimes.
If you have a large group of people, you will be split into teams of 4.

Take the green pill! Even tho I did, I felt nauseous after coming out. I was fine but headed to the nearest facilities and had to splash cold water on my face.
DH liked the orange pill side but even on our subsequent visit, passed on riding it again.

this is one of my favorite rides rides at Epcot. The waits are usually 40 minutes at a maximum so they're not too long. i go on the orange (more intense) and I love it. it seems so realistic when your in the simulator and it has very heavy g-forces. i never went on the green (less intense) but i'm happy with the more intense version.

When Horizons closed in 1999, expectations were extremely high for the new space pavillion that would showcase inventive new technology. The result is exciting at times, but it also lacks the unique details of the best Disney attractions. The first visit is enjoyable because of the mystery from the trip to Mars, but repeat rides lose much of the excitement.
The highlight is the launch sequence, which brings the most G-forces from the spinning centrifuge. It's worth experiencing the ride at least once just for this effect. However, riders prone to motion sickness should choose the non-spinning version. And claustrophic visitors should probably avoid the ride completely.
Mission:Space earns a mild recommendation because it offers an original ride experience that isn't recreated at many other amusement parks. However, it also represents a missed opportunity to develop a classic attraction. The overall theming falls short, and the video fails to capture the true majesty of space travel. It ends up becoming a one-note thrill ride that already feels old just a few years after its opening.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Technoligically advaced ride. SOOO glad they added a milder version of the original. Cons: The main version can make some people really nausious. Wait times can be long.
An awesome ride. Very realistic. Wonderful idea to add a lesser intense version for those who get motion sick. Great attraction.

Awesome ride, if you can run with the big dogs you need to do intense (Orange) for a once in a lifetime feel. The feel of the positive and negative G's will make you come over and over again. I have done both types (Green and Orange)and you have to do the intense one. But this ride is not for the faint of heart (literally and figuratively, this ride sends more people to the hospital than any other Disney ride) I never get motion sick, but this ride will leave a little uneasy in the stomach for a few, by the time you get to the door you'll be fine and ready to get in line again.

Don't ride if you get motion sickness or are clostraphobic. It's in a very enclosed space. the computer screen is right at your face. It spins like crazy!

I went on the less intense (Green Team), but I'm sure that Orange would be great for someone not prone to motion sickness. The less intense was almost too much for me just because of how little room you have in the cabin, but I was really glad I rode, if for no other reason that to see just how different an attraction this is compared to the majority of dark rides.

My favorite ride in the whole of Disney World!
The Ornage team spins so you can really feel the G forces on liftoff and lack of Gs when you leave the atmosphere. My favorite part of this ride is that each member of the 4 person crew has 2 tasks to perform giving an interactive feeling to the experience.
Gotta love a ride that comes with air sick bags.

We rode this twice, one time each on 10/8 and 10/9. It was the first time I was able to get my mom on it, and she loved it! We did the green team.
Both times it was very nearly a walk on. The first day was right after rope drop, and we were virtually the only people on the ride, and the only ones in our capsule. It is very fun without being too intense!

its very themed from line to ride and both versions are fun but i would only ride orange once a hour or so because it will make you feel cruddy after words also the ac is very badly placed they tell you to stare at the screen but its kinda hard with air blowing directly into your eyes
