My kids still ask to go, but as the previous reviewer noted, with the advances in 3-d technology, and the newer 3/4-d attractions this one just doesn't cut it anymore.

This attraction, I think, has lost its appeal. The 3D technology is dated compared to what is out there right now and so is the story. This is an old movie and many kids have never even heard of the "Honey I Shrunk..." franchise of films. New movie or something completely different would add to this area of the park

This was a really good attraction in the beginning but now it is in need of a refurb. It's way past due. The waiting area is crowded and uncomfortable as you must stand in the pre-show area on a bit of a slope.
Some of the scenes and effects may be scary for little kids. Good to see once, but not worth repeating without major upgrades.

They really need to update this show in my oppinion, it's been here so long. That being said, if you haven't experienced it, you should. It is very intense and my poor daughter thought she was going to die when the mice were "on" her feet. It is intense for the little ones, and it is an entertaining show overall, just in need of an update in my oppinion

Honey, I Shrunk the Audience has an "alright" story line, but falls short in every other way. With the release of Bolt! in digital 3d (and UP! and Beauty and the Beast soon to follow), HISTA feels outdated. The 3D technology is also known for giving some people headaches!

This was a terrific attraction back in its heyday. Anymore, I find the pre show the best part. I have discovered that several spcial effects (you know which ones I am talking about!) don't work as they once do, thus losing some of the fun in takinga new person!

I remember visiting this attraction when it was fairly new and being impressed by the 3D effects. That was 15-20 years ago though and 3D technology is much better now so the effects in this show are less impressive. The storyline itself lends well to the 3D experience though so it's a good show but given that the "Honey! I Shrunk..." franchise is pretty dated and Disney can do a lot better with 3D these days, this attraction badly needs to be revamped.

When this attraction was new it was cutting edge. Now as Disney has added other 3-D attractions on property it brings up the rear for this type attraction. It is dated and the storyline is stale. Everyone should experiance it at least once.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Good if you've never seen it and the jumping fountains out front are great Cons: Hasn't changed in 15 years. Dated technology that's common even in shopping malls and it's based off of a very old movie.
I loved Honey I shrunk the Kids when it came out in 1989 but it's an awfully old movie now.
I would've given this attraction a seven or an eight when it opened in 1994 and I think if you haven't seen it and are a fan of the movie it's still a fun attraction. I can't imagine anyone reading this meets those qualifications though. If you've done it before I don't think it's got much re-rideability. It hasn't changed at all since it's inception and it's pretty dated technology. A 3-D movie that sprays you with water just isn't too impressive anymore.
You'd think a company that's as profitable as Disney could swing a new 9 minute 3-D movie at least once a decade to keep people coming back for more. Leaving the same movie for 15 years just seems plain old lazy.

This was a neat attraction. Based on the movie Honey I Shrunk the Kids, it has brought back most of the original characters.
Not sure if todays generation of kids even knows about this film though.

This attraction needs a new story. Even at that it is a fair if not good example of 3-D and other effects. However, with Mickey's Philharmagic in MK and It's Tough to Be a Bug in AK, this attraction ranks fourth in this catagory, behind Muppetvision in DHS.

The 3D technology in this is so old that the attraction actually gives you a headache. This ride is in desperate need of a refurb. My 5yo has no idea who any of these characters are as this franchise has had it's run but hasn't been relative in at least 15 years

Good in its time but outdated now. This is valuable real estate in the Imagination pavillion and it's ironic that more imagination hasn't been used to creat a replacement for it at this point. Fun to do once if you haven't done it but it's my least favorite of the 3D attractions in the parks.

I wouldn't bother with this any more. The 3d is very old tech - the kind that gives you a headache watching it - and the franchise is ancient (which makes me sad, as I remember seeing this in the theater as a child). This film was cute in its day and the effects used were new for a Disney attraction, but they're old now, and it shows.
Unless you're being a completist and are determined to see everything, or you can find something better to do with your time.

A sentimental favorite. I first saw this in '96 so I think I just remember it back when it still worked well. Now it is a bit broke-down, but still cute. Much better if you have seen the movies in the Honey, I... series. I would hate to see it go, but perhaps it is time. It is definately time to get rid of that horribly long pre-show!

The characters have not maintained themselves in the social consciousness, so only the people that remember the movies understand the underlying premise.

Beacause this attraction is a bit outdated...and my twin boys have never seen the movie. I decided to skip it. I was shocked on the way home my daughter asked for this movie.....and said she was bummed out because she missed the movie - Go Figure!

This show is really outdated. The effects can be a little frightening, especially if you're afraid of mice, and may frighten kids afraid of snakes. Worth going to once to decide for yourself.
