This has been my daughter's favorite ride since we was 7! Even non roller coaster type people should try this ride. It doesn't have any drops and does not go upside down. The is a good stepping stone for kids who have outgrown goofy's barnstormer.

This is a great coaster for kids. I think one positive is they really can't "see" the ride track and won't get apprehensive beforehand. It's a bit of a rough ride and if you can keep yourself from being flung around too much, you can see some of the fun animatronics as you fly by! Another Disney classic and a must do each trip! Sometimes twice. Also, late at night when they tell you it's a 40 minute wait, don't believe them, it's usually never more than 20 minutes.

I love this ride. Its a fun filled quick turning roller coaster ride. Just hold on to those hats and glasses! My 6 yr old loves the fact that it is a quick turning and not a big drop ride. Go at night time its a different experience.

This is simply a fantastic family coaster. But it's so much more than that...it's just plain fun. The themeing as your train runs away is fantastic, waving to the folks on the Walt Disney Railroad while waiting in line is also fun.

We love this coaster, especially the last row! The coaster is exciting and fast moving, but a bit rough so those with back problems should not ride.
Theming is great on this coaster, but Fast Pass if you are able. The queue can be miserably hot in the Florida sun.

Big Thunder Mountain is a great thrill ride - not too terrifying but rough enough to get you a little worried. Fantastic theme and attention to detail, wonderful architecture, plus some great turns and dips. Sit in the back for the time of your life. No kidding around - this here is truly the "Wildest Ride in the Wilderness!"

The only thing I dont like is that the que, line is somewhat a optical illusion, you think that you are nearly on the ride and then....more line...so use the fast pass on this one!

Good first "big" coaster for small children! I remember riding this as a kid and loving it. Even my motion sickenss prone mother did not have any problems with this ride. Also for an added treat, try to ride this while Wishes is going on. This ride at night is spectacular!!!!

A must do for our family each time we are at the Magic Kingdom. This is a fun paced roller coaster with excellent theming. Our entire family loves this ride and we do it over and over again! This is a fast pass attraction so take advantage of that!

I absolutely love this ride!!! It is one of my favorites in all of the World. I love the view from the top of it. I have ridden it at Disney World and Disneyland and have never not been satisfied with this ride. A MUST do!

This ride is really great for kids. While my husband and I enjoyed it, we are more of a Rockin' Roller Coaster type couple. However, when we went to the Halloween Party and there weren't long lines, we rode it over and over because it's way more fun in the dark.

A very fun, family coaster. Goes pretty fast and makes jagged rough turns. A lot of fun. The queue is long and can be deceptive. When you think your almost there you have a way to go.

Big Thunder is a great beginner roller-coster, and is perfect for those that hate steep drops. It is a good choice for younger children that want to graduate from Goofy's Barnstormer. For those looking for a more adventurous ride, sit in the back!

Rough ride, but a great roller-coaster. Not particularly thrilling or over the top, but still a great coaster. Look around and see the details. You'll need to ride several times to really SEE everything.
