We useally travel with another family, so those that love to spin, hop on and we kinda yell back and forth. My kids are 21 & 16, and tradition states that both boys get in with mom and spin til we can't.

My daughter loves this ride and I tolerate it for her. She loves to spin and I'm not crazy about it. I find trying to focus on her alone helps with the dizziness. I do love the attraction for the music and the colors -- very whimsical and bright. Be on the look out for the characters from Alice In Wonderland around this attraction. I've seen most of them there at one time or another.
On a personal note, I usually enter Fantasyland when passing the Teacups, so for me, it's like the gateway back to my childhood.

This is one of of favorite rides. My girls just spin & spin & spin, and I try not to get sick! We've had tons of fun on this ride, we usually like to go late at night...as one of our last rides. It's also a great place to meet Alice, Mad Hatter or White Rabbit.

I loved this ride growing up. This was the ride that my dad and I did together. You control how fast you want to spin. Many a time I have come off not being able to walk! Its lots of fun that now i do with my daughters.

This is a great ride that we love to go on. I make my kids keep the cup stationary because the spinning of the ride is enough for me without adding on the spinning of our individual cup. Love the theming. Maybe you will be lucky enough to ride when Alice and the Mad Hatter do!

OK - these make Mission:Space feel tame. Probably because I feel the need to spin these as fast as possible. Mission:Teacup - make the wife sick. So, for you, this ride is probably much more tame.
(And I promised myself I wouldn't compare attractions to Disneyland attractions, but I really enjoy the open-air teacups in California. Sorry.)

A great ride if you don't mind getting dizzy. You can control how fast you spin your own cup, but you will still have some movement. We usually spins our so much its difficult to walk after but we laugh out loud the whole time. Wouldn't try this one right after lunch.

I love riding this with my kids, they get a thrill out of spinning and looking. Makes for great photos and the line is usually short. Silly fun that speaks to how Disney is so diverse.

The Teacups are a ride that I usually have trouble talking people into riding... but to me it is classic Disney. We have been lucky enough to share a car with Alice (I wish I had my camera, dagnabit!) and just enjoy swooping about. If you are not crazy about spinning, you can always hold the wheel to keep from turing, to minimize the spin.

A family favorite; we have a collection of spinning on the Teacups pictures through the years. I really like the look of this pavilion at night; very pretty all lit up.
Even if you don't turn the silver wheel in the middle of your cup, you will still be rotating on the bigger panels in the floor, so there will be some spinning regardless. Getting dizzy is part of the fun but spinning makes you sick, skip this one.

Tilt-a-whirl with tea cups. That is how I would describe this ride. I love the fact that you can turn this sucker all by yourself, and go as fast or as slow as you want. I prefer to go fast, of course. I also love the Alice in Wonderland theming behind it. I mean, I still don't see why this ride inspires such passion that it would make a woman beat up another in line, but it is still a good ride. Definitely recommend it.

The teacups are a classic ride that are a must do for me. I grew up going to Disneyland and the setting in WDW is not as appealing as the open air ambiance of SoCal. I get that the metal roof it is necessary in the Forida heat. Three adults/teens will have a hard time negotiating the limited leg space.
