Positive aspects of the product (pros): Memory Maker, Good for all ages Cons: Slow Loading
So it may not be the coolest ride in the park but it is the one you enjoy going on with your children and your grandchildren. It is a slow loader so get there early as the wait is long and the ride itself is short.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): A classic attraction, great views of Fantasyland. Cons: Slow Loading, long lines, boring queue.
No trip to the Magic Kingdom is complete without a ride on Dumbo. I usually do it first thing in the morning or very late in the evening. If you happen to be there during evening extra magic hours, don't be surprised if you see Minnie & Mickey come by for a spin. I have several times!

While this is probably the slowest loading ride in all of Disney, it's just true Disney. It's Dumbo! I have pictures of me riding with my dad, and my dad riding with my daughter. Dumbo gives us precious memories, that's worth waitin in line for.

This is a classic ride. It has a very slow loading time. So try it first thing in the morning. If you have never done it try it.

This is a nice ride for small toddlers, but you would think that Disney would make it a little more exciting. But there is always a line to get on this ride so don't discredit it too much.

This is of course a Disney classic that you see in ALL of the park advertising. Views are great but lines can be super super long. I won't wait 2 hours to ride Dumbo when I can ride the flying carpets in adventure land and get the same experience. BUT if you get there early and the lines are short it is a MUST DO!

My kids loved this ride when small. They liked the moving up and down with the control. It's a classic and is much loved by small children.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): The kids will love this! Classic attraction! Cons: Long, long lines... no fastpass option.
This is probably the most infuriating line in the park. While there may only be 100 people in front of you, those 100 people will take 45 minutes to load into this attraction. But what are you gonna do? The kids will eat this up with a spoon - so you have to do it! 
Get there early if traveling with little kids or hit this up during an AM Extra Magic Hour.

Boy, do kids love this ride! My niece would be happy doing this and the teacups all day. It doesn't matter that this isn't exciting, kids see it, want to go on it repeatedly and fall in love with it.

Dumbo is Disney for us. When I was a kid I would see that on TV and yearn to ride Dumbo. It's one of those icon rides that are a must. My husband made me ride on his first trip (we're in our mid 40s) and he cried! It was truly a dream come true for him. He finally made it to Disney. I'm sure that's not the typical adult reaction, but I think a lot of adults riding with their kids are secretly riding it for themselves!
Slow to load. Get their early or be prepared for a very long wait.

This isn't even the best of its type in the park, but we still try to ride it on occasion. I won't wait in line for it more that 15-20 mins though. I think the magic carpets are better and have shorter lines.

Dumbo is a wonderful iconic ride that every child - young and old must ride. If you can, scurry to the back of the park first thing and you MAY get to ride with Mickey or Minnie on the first ride!
The biggest drawback is of course the slow loading aspect, and the fact that most of the line has very little protection from the weather. I think the combination of small children and blistering sun is trouble waiting to happen. Ride this first thing in the morning, or at times of year that are not so hot....

Classic Disney ride. Little Kids love it. No fast pass and slow loading, so get here early if you're gonna ride it. Pass it up if you can.

One of our favorites. Your really know you're in Disney when you are flying over Fantasyland on Dumbo. Take some time to look at the great themeing of Fantasyland while you are up high. Did you notice that Fantasyland is made to look like it is within the walls of the castle and that the front of each ride is made to look like a tent?

I would only recommend this if you're determined to 'make a memory' out of it. You'll only be on the ride a tiny fraction of the time you're in line for it.

This is a classic. You can't go to WDW and not ride Dumbo. The only negative aspect is that the line tends to be very long and there isn't much shade.

Simple flight through the air. Worth the long line? Probably not, but everyone has to ride Dumbo! Get to it early!! The line actually moved pretty quickly thanks to the castmembers:)

slow loading, long waits and the ride itself doesn't hold many guests. Almost the same ride as Astro Orbitor (goes higher), Aladdin & Triceratops spin(hold more people, has more control).

If you want to ride this ride, get there at rope drop and make it your first stop. The line can be insane! But it is totally worth it for the preschool crowd.

What a waste of space. I know it's "one of the classics" but this is the exact same ride that's at every county fair. If this is why you're paying hundreds of dollars for entry I think you need to reassess your Disney visit, you can do this one at a fair for under five bucks.
If you like it though, don't worry, you can ride it again at futureland with space ships or how about in adventureland with carpets . . .
Sorry, I really do love other parts of the parks but this type of ride is just cheap and lazy.

If you are taking your young kids on this, go first thing in the morning. Everyone says this and it is a good rule to go by. The lines are long, the ride is short, there is limited shade from the sun.
