Positive aspects of the product (pros): Wonderful food and ambiance - very romantic Cons:
This restaurant is lovely and reminds me of a candle-lit dinner, even in the middle of the day. All the entrees we have tried have been fabulous - enough so that we may ADRs just so we can go back and try THAT dish (my personal favorite dish is the ribs). We have also gone at lunch time for the light salad and appetizers, and service was equally gracious. Children are welcomed here, and love to search for Remy, but honestly, may like restaurants with more activity more.
Can't say enough about this place - I consider one of the top 5! Evenyone who has ever tried it on my suggestions has given glowing reviews.

We got a last minute seating at Chefs de France on our last day. got seated fairly quickly. The service was friendly. However, I ended up waiting for my food quite a long time, while the others were served. This resulted in me starting my meal when everyone else was almost finished.
That being said, the food was good and everyone else got their food in a timely manner. I attribute it to a mixup in the kitchen. Would certainly go here again.

I loved my meal at this resturant. We ate here while Tropical Storm Fay spun above us. The staff was great and the food was delish. The only negative was that meal seemed to take a long time, but it didn't feel slow. Again, I didn't really mind the time we spent in the resturant because we were out of the rain.

We loved the onion soup - very well done and flavorful.
The group had almost everything on the menu and we all enjoyed them, although one person was expecting mac n cheese to be the traditional gooey/creamy stuff that the kids get in all the WDW restaurants. Its not - its unique to this restaurant. I loved my taste of it.

One of our favorites! The onion soup really is "all that" and as one would expect, they have the best creme brulee on property. Its a beautiful restaurant and if you get a table by a window, its great for people watching while you enjoy a meal.

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely meal in the middle of this year's spring break - an ADR was absolutely necessary to get a table and very worth it.
We shared an appetizer each (Lobster Bisque and French Onion Soup) and enjoyed the Spare Ribs and Salmon, our kids slept peacefully in their stroller next to us. The lobster bisque and onion soup were very good and must haves, the spare ribs were also quite good, the Salmon delicious but a very small portion. Ratatouille made an appearance at our table and the kids loved him.

We had lunch here for the first time in 4/09. It was terrific! My DD and I shared the 3 course meal, and there was so much food we couldn't finish it all. DH also chose from the chef's menu, and he couldn't finish his meal either. The French Onion Soup is very good, and not too salty like it is in most restaurants. Also, the baked penne with cheese was yummy, as was the creme brulee.
Our waiter was charming and attentive. Our water glasses were always kept full, the food didn't come too quickly or all at once (like it does in so many WDW restaurants).
To top off a great lunch, little Remy from Ratatouille came out on a tray and greeted and interacted with the diners at each table.
All in all, we had a great time at Chefs and would definitely go there again!

Had a just okay experience. The food was good, but one of our meals was forgotten. We had almost a 2 hour meal just because our service was so slow. The food was good and the bread was excellent.

We ate here for lunch in Oct '08 and really enjoyed the experience. The prices were pretty reasonable considering the location, and the food was excellent. The dining room is very bright and beautiful, and if you're lucky enough to get a table by a window it's a good place to people watch. We'd definitely eat here again.

Th food was good, the ambiance very french, but the service was awful. The waitress forgot the 2 glasses of milk for my daughters and told me to get them since they were on the bar.....then when I said that I did want them because our meal was over...she offered me to take them "to go"...what a service....

Worst part was the first part: the entrance and podium was a zoo. Too many people were packed in under that awning, with the two benches flanking the entry doing more harm than good. It seems ridiculous that, after checking in, you have to wait around the entrance and listen for the maitre'd to shout your name. Are pagers against their religion or something?
All food was above average to excellent. I had salad w/ goat cheese, lamb (tasted like oxtail - that's a good thing), and a dessert I forget. DW had lobster bisque, short ribs, and creme brulee. DS had bique, beef tenderloin, and creme brulee. DD had kid's cheese puff, chicken, and ice cream.
Server was friendly and solicitous but disappeared for a stretch so that glasses went unfilled for too long a time.

We dined at Chefs de France on our last trip and really enjoyed it. It looks really fancy, but we felt right at home in our park wear and the staff made us feel welcome.
When people think of French food, they often think of escargot and duck confit and other items that some people might think of as "scary" because of how fancy they seem to be, but there are items on the menu that almost anyone would eat such as rotisserie chicken and macaroni au gratin (macaroni and cheese).
We had the French Onion Soup which was wonderfully rich. My husband had the aforementioned macaroni au gratin and it was heavenly. This is not a traditional mac and cheese, but it very rich and tasty, I had the rotisserie chicken, which was okay but it was seasoned with many herbs and I am not a fan of sage. I was quite envious of that mac and cheese. For dessert, we had the creme brulee which was one of the better servings we've had on property.
Overall, it was a great experience. We may not go here every trip, but we'll definitely consider going back and I think everyone should give it a shot.

We have eaten here several times, for both lunch and dinner, and in most cases had a lovely time. The food is wonderful, and the service is usually wonderful. I will join in the chorus with the other reviewers who rave about the onion soup. It is really wonderful!
However, we did have one experience with a server who wasn't up to the usual standards - she seemed completely disinterested in serving us, and was bordering on rude when we could find her at all. After waiting a ridiculously long time for her to reappear at the end of our meal so we could order dessert and tea/coffee, we ended up flagging down another server to track her down so we could pay our bill and leave, and had dessert somewhere else. However, on our most recent visit, our server was a lovely young man who was charming and attentive, so we won't hesitate to dine here again in the future.

Consistently good food and service, this is one of our favorite dining locations at WDW. The soups and flatbreads are wonderful, and the entrees are of very high quality. I always enjoy chatting with the servers, and the view of the fountains at night is spectacular.

The meal we were served was of excellent quality and value. The setting was great as we were given a window table along the front of the room. However the service was the worse I have ever received at a table service restaurant anywhere at WDW. I do not drink and my husband did not want anything alcoholic; this disgusted our server as he physically reacted to the fact that we would not be ordering alcohol. So we apparently started out on his bad side. We placed our order for the cheese plate. My husband then ordered the French Meal and I ordered a bowl of French Onion soup and one of the specialty salads. The table next to us placed their order with our server right after we did. We were served our soups along with the bread. As we were eating our soups the table next to us was served their meal. One of them was served a cheese plate as their meal. They told the server that they did not order that and had ordered a salad. He argued with them and said no, that is what you ordered. They asked to speak to the manager who came over and proceeded to tell them that is what they ordered. He did not offer to replace it even after they said they did not order that. They finally said never mind I'll eat this. I believe it was our cheese plate as we were never served one. I told our server twice and he said I'll get you one twice but never did. When our meal came I did not receive my salad but instead got the same thing my husband had ordered. I said this is not what I ordered and again he argued with me and said yes I did. At this point I didn't care and said never mind. When the bill came I gave him our Tables in Wonderland card and the KTTW card to pay. I hadn't noticed until after we left that we had been charged for an extra soup but it wasn't worth the $6 to go back. That night when I went to the front desk at the BC to get a printout of our charges I noticed that our KTTW card had been charged the full price instead of the discount of 20%, even though the receipt showed it had been charged the discounted price. I took both the receipt and the printout to the front desk where a manager called the restaurant and asked about it. They spent several minutes conversing and the manager finally said never mind I'll just take care of it here. She then credited our room the difference. So, needless to say all of the hassle did not make up for the quality of the food. I only gave it a 5 because of the food. If the service had been good I would have given it a 9. I would give the service a 1 so the average is a 5.

We really like this resturant. We walked past this place for years without ever considering eating there. It looks so expensive from the exterior. We finally made an ADR on our last trip and were really impressed. The staff was excellent, the food was good and we've already have an ADR for our next visit.

I love Le Chefs! The service is incredible. We have gone here many times including during our Christmas/New Year's week trip. I made a mistake with the ADR time and showed up an hour late with the Candlelight Processional package. They were able to get us in and out without feeling rushed and we still made it to the show on time.
The food has always been very good. I enjoy it each time including my last trip a few weeks back. I strongly recommend this restaurant to all who'd like a true French experience.

This restaurant was the surprise hit of our our trip last week. I had been anxious to try Chefs during our past trips, but had been worried the kids and husband wouldn't be interested in the food choices. Boy was I wrong!
Our table enjoyed the Onion Soup, Crepes with Chicken, Croque Monsieur (ham and cheese) sandwich, and the kid's pasta. All were huge hits. For dessert, we all shared the puffs with ice cream - excellent choice, except I wanted my own!!
Service, with Julien as our waiter, was excellent. The best of the trip! Thank you!
Near the end of our meal, Armaund and Remy appeared. It was a very nice touch. Armaund was very funny, and really engaged with the the guests.
We definitely recommend giving this one a shot!

We had a fantastic lunch here in December 2008. We ordered the "french menu" which consists of the french onion soup, croque monsieur w/ salad and creme brulee for dessert. It was all delicious, the service excellent and we really enjoyed being able to people watch from the table as people walked around World Showcase.
As a somewhat picky and non-adventurous eater I had stayed away from Chefs thinking that French food was fancy and "frou frou." I'm sure you can get fancy but you can also get very basic, very good food.

We tried this for the first time in April. It was a nice change from our usual stops in Epcot. We had the 3 course lunch. The soup and sanwich were delicious!!! Our server was not very attentive but it did not ruine our lunch. We were able to see Remy at the end of our lunch...very cute and charming.

I have only dined at this location once, but it was so good that I can't wait to return! From the bright seating area to the vast aray of choices on the menu you will not be disappointed with Chefs de France. I chose the steak and found it to be better than Kona and LeCellier. The portions were large and the chef was able to make accomodations for those of us who did not like the vegetable choices. The waitstaff was very nice and could not do enough for you. My only complaint was that I felt the seating area near the windows was a little tight. I am sure this is to allow for the maximum amount of people to enjoy the view of World Showcase, but it is a little uncomfortable when those tables are full and you need to get around.

I am a picky eater but for our last trip my sister mentioned she wanted to try Chefs de France. i was a bit skeptical but I looked at the menu here and decided I should just give it a shot. I had orderered the French Menu and I have to say it was fantastic! The french onion soup was perfect and I couldn't get enough of the cheese! The classic ham and cheese sandwich was great too. With mine the ham had slid out but I ate both separately and it was great! Now I definitely know I do NOT like cremem brulee but my sister does so she ordered for herself the assortment of fresh sorbets. I think that was the best part of the whole meal. We had mango, blackberry and strawberry. Totally amazing! So if you are afraid of French food like I was, don't be! I gave it a shot and they converted this picky eater!

Chefs de France has become "the" spot for my wife and I to dine at while in WDW. We ate there the first time without an ADR in January 2008, and we both ordered the French Menu lunch special, which at the time consisted of three courses: 1) French Onion Soup 2) Croque Monsieur (the most sophisticated grilled ham and cheese you'll ever eat) 3) Creme Brulee. While all of the courses were delicious, our mutual favorite was, and still is the French Onion soup. The Gruyere (sp.?) cheese is to die for.
We ate there again for lunch on our honeymoon in August 2008, and we both enjoyed it again. So far the only things that we have encountered at Chefs de France that have been less than stellar is the Creme Brulee, which is apparently made en masse early in the day, refrigerated and then subsequently served cold to each customer who orders it. I would prefer it to be served warm.
We already have an ADR, for dinner this time, when we go back for our first anniversary this summer. In fact, the idea of going to WDW without eating at Chefs de France is simply unthinkable. We have also heard that there is a new variation on the French Menu, in which diners are allowed to choose from 2-3 options in each category: soup, entree and dessert (similar it seems to the Canadian Experience at LeCellier). If there truly is a new and improved French Menu, then we are even more excited than ever before!

We had 12 people and they were so accommodating. We were sat in the conservatory on the right when you come in the restaurant. We had the room all to ourselves. It was great. The server was awesome. They brought Remy to us within five minutes of being sat down. If you can see him before he leaves please try to.
I had the French Onion Soup, Mac and Cheese, and Creme Brulee fixed price meal. It was $20.00. The soup and Creme Brulee were great. The Mac and Cheese was oaky. I would not come here for the Mac and Cheese. I have never had a bad meal at Chefs de France.

My husband and I had lunch at Chefs de France in mid-April. We had an ADR for 12:15, but were able to get it only 2 days in advance. There seemed to be a long line of people waiting to get in when we arrived.
Our server was Julie, who was extremely friendly and did not rush us at all in making our selections.
I ordered some type of chicken sandwich with roasted vegetables, which was absolutely delicious. It came with a salad on the side and was perfect for a hot Florida day.
My husband had the price fixe lunch, and ordered french onion soup, the croque monsieur, and profiterolles au chocolat. All were absolutely delicious. We finished the french onion soup, even though it was 95 degrees outside. And even though Chefs de France is a bit stuffy, I admit I scraped the plate clean from those profiterolles. Absolute desert perfection.
The highlight of the meal, though, was when we met Remy. After we ordered but before the soup came out, Remy was going table to table on a rolling cart. Most of the people in the restaurant seemed puzzled. The man at the table next to us even asked Remy's handler if he could purchase one at the gift shop to which she replied "Monsieur, Remy is one of a kind!"
Remy spent a few minutes at each table, and he really did seem to understand what we were saying which was incredible. He's also absolutely adorable. When you take a picture of him, the handler says, "Remy, say fromage" and in a little mousy voice he says "fromage". The meal is worth it for that alone.
I had a great time at Chefs de France, and would ABSOLUTELY go back. Especially to see Remy.

We enjoyed our meal here as well as sitting in the window and watching the rest of France. I do think that we'll need to wait until our kids are older to return here - the food was a bit to sophisticated for them.

I had a solo lunch here on June 10 and it was fantastic. I walked in at noon (no ressie) and was seated by the windows. I had a view of Belle and Beast!
I ordered the French Menu with onion soup (delish) the ham and cheese quiche with a fresh salad (amazing) and the profiteroles with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce (to die for). great bread too!
My server, Vincent, was wonderful and did not rush me at all. He encouraged me to wait and not leave until I saw Remy...who is too cute for words!
