Positive aspects of the product (pros): Pretzels and beer Cons: Pricey
The best part of the Sommerfest is the ability to grab a great German Beer and Bratwurst and sit oustide. A nice break on a hot day - not much to offer young ones unless they like pretzels

The Brats are great and the dessert is wonderful. There are not many places to sit.

I so love the Biergarten and was hoping that I'd love this Couner Service. It was just so/so for me. My Apple Strudel was rather soggy, my pretzel was good enough (although very American/not so much authentic German). The best part of eating in Germany was the beer, of course!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Brats & Beer! Cons: limited choices
This is always a must-do for us when we are in World Showcase. We usually get a couple brats to share and a beer to wash it down. One thing we found while on the DDP is that they would let us get a pretzel instead of dessert. That was great because I am definitely not overwhelmed with the dessert options.

Sommerfest is a great spot for a break to take in a great brew. I am not a traditional dark brew german type of gal but they have a few varities even I like. The pretzels are average but go great with the brew. Hubbie gets some chocolate cake thing he loves it (I'm not a chocolate fan).

Best pretzel I have ever eaten. When I bit into it, I felt like this is what pretzels were supposed to taste like, and I'd been missing out my entire life. Now, wherever I go, other pretzels just can't match up.

One of the best counter service restaurants from my last trip! Probably the best deal on the dining plan! Food was delicious and incredibly filling! The menu is pretty small but it is traditional German fare. At lunch the line gets pretty long and we were unable to get a table.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Pretzels, beer, surprise, under-rated. Cons: I keep craving the pretzels and beer!
I loved the pretzels and I am so glad I made a snap decision to try the German beer (not the Becks, the other beer I think it's called Spatan). I'm not usually a beer drinker but it was lovely. Perfect mid-afternoon/early-evening snack if you plan on having a late dinner.

Great Knotwurst, also great roll. Some bread at the world just plain out stinks. this was a real treat.

Brats are bland but filling, and the soft bread bun is really big! Sauerkrat doesn't have much flavor though.
Also, it can be hard to find a place to sit - very limited seating.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Better pretzel than the other around WDW Cons: LONG lines
We usually stop here as we eat our way across the countries. The pretzel could use more salt, but are better than the standard WDW pretzels. Theirs are insanely long during the holidays, and the is no available seating at the few tables in the courtyard. We sit on a curb and take in the sites of Germany.
