Positive aspects of the product (pros):
great food, large portions, fast service
Cons:
no indoor seating
Ralph Brenna's Express is a great place to enjoy a good, fast, reasonably priced meal. Seating is outdoor only, which can be not so enjoyable on a hot day, but that can easily be remedied by ordering a meal "to go" & enjoying it in your hotel room. The portions are very generous, and the food isn't prepared until you order it. Their po' boy sandwiches are especially good & they don't short you on the fillings- there are always so many fried shrimp in my sandwich that not all of them will stay in the baguette! The spicy fries that come as a side dish are good, too, and a po' boy sandwich + fries meal can easily be shared by 2 hungry adults...they give you LOTS of food! Of note: they have Crystal brand hot sauce here (a true New Orleans favorite), which is a nice touch. The prices are really good, especially for the large portions, and the soft drinks are refillable. Do try their beignets (New Orleans style "donuts")...they make a fast & yummy "breakfast" before your day in the Parks!

Positive aspects of the product (pros):
decent food
Cons:
limited seating
We went here instead of the table service side in hopes of saving some money while still getting some good cajun food. I have to disagree with the previous reviewer that the food is prepared to order. Maybe that's the case with the po boys (my boyfriend ordered one but I wasn't really paying attention to the preparation), but the hot food like jambalaya (what I ordered) is dished out of big warming pans. The portion sizes were good, but not overly large. In our opinion, the food was so so, but not great or authentic. We've never been to New Orleans, but had some amazing cajun food living in Houston for almost three years. We happened to go on a Saturday night and there was no seating available at all outside the restaurant. We found a low wall nearby to sit at, but it wasn't as convenient as having a table. Oh, I also tried the bread pudding which was fairly good but a bit expensive. With so many other choices to try at Downtown Disney, I probably won't be returning here anytime soon.

Positive aspects of the product (pros):
The beignets were heavenly!
Cons:
I never made it here for lunch or dinner...but did eat here twice for breakfast just to have their delicious beignets. And that's saying something...I rarely go to the same restaurant twice on vacation so I can try someplace / something new every meal.

Positive aspects of the product (pros):
Beignets
Cons:
You can go here at any time and get the greatest snack ever. A beignet! They are great. Make sure you shake up the bag and get plenty of powered sugar all over the beignets.

Positive aspects of the product (pros):
Good food, portion sizes, value
Cons:
I got the popcorn shrimp platter. The shrimp (and there were lots of them!) were nice and hot and perfectly seasoned. Just the right amount of breading on them, too. Totally enjoyed! Husband got the shrimp po-boy, which he loved. The fries were good, too. They did and order of "unseasoned" fries for our daughter, and she liked those. Overall, a really good meal for a good value. Love that they have free refills, too!
