Positive aspects of the product (pros): Unique, really long, overall a fun experience Cons: Tight space, long, slow moving line
I really like FNSV because it completely immerses you into the scenes. The technology is great in that it actually feels like Nemo is swimming right in front of you. Although the line is long, the best times to ride are first thing in the morning, during parades (avoid immediately after the parades), and late at night.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): cute, unique underwater experience Cons: usually has a very, VERY long line
The classic Submarine Voyage now has a "Finding Nemo" theme; even though it is basically the movie told in ride form, it's still worth experiencing. Being that the ride vehicle is an actual submarine, seating is tight, but everyone gets their own porthole to see the underwater scenery. I really like the "electric eel attack" effect, where there's a visible "shock" in the ride vehicle. The only bad thing i have to say is that the line is, for the most part, not shaded, which can be, well...awful, on a hot summer day.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Fun animation Cons: Loud cramped and dark
I recommend this with reservations - the ride is okay, but the seats are very cramped. Nemo is cute and the plot is okay- I wish I had known ahead how dark and very loud it is - a 4 year old fan of the movie was Terrified. Compared to the similar ride at WDW this is not particularly great.
That being said, for people who can't get to Florida, it can be fun.

Most kids will love the chance to go into a submarine and 'dive' into the depths of the ocean. Our entire family really enjoyed this ride (much more than the WDW version, which we thought was just OK). However, if you are claustrophobic, you should avoid this ride - the seats are fairly small, and you really get to the know the person next to you. Also, the air can be a tad stale inside the sub. There is a separate viewing area for those who either can't ride the sub or choose not to.

For those of us who grew up with Disneyland and remember the original submarines, FNSV is nostalgic. I was very excited as I approached the submarine and walked down into it. I was 4 months pregnant at the time so this was one of few rides I could go on. It is tight in the submarine so you have to be ok making skin contact with people to your right and left. I didn't mind because most of time I found myself leaning forward and looking out my porthole. I saw different kinds of fish, coral reefs, divers, and then Nemo and Dory. It was fun to try and follow Nemo. I did this ride during the day and at night just to see if there's a difference - there isn't. But it was still fun!

I waited in line for this for an hour...when it was through I was thinking to myself, it wouldn't have been worth waiting in a 10 minute line. Very disappointed.

This was a great remake of the 20,000 league submarine ride. The subs are still kinda cramped, but not much that one can really do about that. I still enjoyed the ride.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): relaxing and long attraction Cons: could feel claustrophobic
Loved this attraction! I went to DL for the first time in october of 2009 and rode this and loved it! It was a bit of a wait to get on the ride, but once on the attraction was nice and long and to me, very relaxing and beautiful. I can see how people could get claustrophobic on it though but for me it was great! It would be nice if there was a fastpass for this attraction though.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): One of a kind Cons: Absolutely not for the claustrophobic
It was cute although it was hard to always see what was outside the submarine. The volume was too loud and we were completely in the dark for a few seconds, so it will scare small children. The story was also difficult to follow. It seemed like a lot of work waiting and being loaded on for not much of a ride/show. VERY tight quarters.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great effects, fun story with addition of Nemo characters Cons: not for the claustrophobic, slow-moving line
This ride is an amazing experience overall. Passengers descend via spiral stairs into the submarine. Each seat faces a window, and passengers get the feeling of going deep into the ocean. The characters from Nemo are cleverly integrated (somewhat like WDW's "The Seas with Nemo and Friends)as a story is told.
As a caution, the door into the sub as well as the stairs are narrow and steep. The entire sub is also very closed in, with a low ceiling and virtually no leg room. I would tell larger/taller passengers to avoid this ride, as well as anyone who can't tolerate small closed spaces.

My summation is: Try it once, but that may be the only time you experience it.
Our first time on this was September 2007 - I think it was shortly after it opened, so it was still very "new". We waited in line for 45 minutes (on a day where every other ride in the park only had lines of maybe 2-3 minutes). I thought it would be a great place to nurse my then 9-month old. I'm 5'9", and I thought it was VERY cramped getting down into the subs and not a lot of room inside (I knew that going into it). It was very awkward carrying a baby down - and up - the winding staircase. There were about 4 kids who all decided - after the ride had started - that they did NOT like being underwater. We were stuck with several screamers that took away from the enjoyment of the experience.
The effects are wonderful, I think it is a great "reuse" of the old ride - it would have been sad to have it completely removed. on a later trip, my 6-year old nephew and 8-year old niece thought it was cool, but didn't want to go on it again.

This ride is the same as before they changed it to Nemo's submarine ride. The lines are way too long. Not worth the 1-2 hour wait times. If you can get there right as they open or on a slow day, go for it, or just skip.
