River Belle Terrace brings back fond memories of my youth and teen years at Disneyland. It was always the first stop for my friends and me to fuel ourselves before we began a long, hot day in the parks. There is nothing like the smell of the famous Mickey Mouse pancakes being made, wafting past your nostrils, when you walk into the restaurant. It is a comforting blend of batter, syrup and hot coffee all rolled into one intoxicating aroma. In the old days, River Belle Terrace would offer a choice of butter OR a brick of vanilla ice cream to accompany the MM pancake, and, of course, I chose ice cream - because, whenever you can get ice cream as a condiment for breakfast, that's a good thing!! Sadly, the days of the vanilla brick have passed, but the MM pancake lingers on. It is the only place in Disneyland Resort where you can get a Mickey pancake of this larger size. Somehow, it brings me an odd sense of happiness when I look down and see the famouse Mouse icon on my plate! The menu breakfast items are tasty as well, and the restaurant is located in a scenic spot by the Tarzan Treehouse and overlooking the Rivers of America. We found that obtaining a table can sometimes be difficult and awkward, especially when carrying a tray with precariously placed hot coffee and juice, but if you can get past that hurdle and get comfy, you will enjoy a really nice breakfast.

River Belle Terrace is the only place where you can get a large-sized Mickey shaped pancake, complete with a face made with pineapple & cherries! Everyone needs to try a Mickey pancake at least once! There are also plenty of other breakfast items available, including scrambled eggs with pancakes (just regular round pancakes, not the Mickey pancakes) or potatoes, and a fruit platter. In my experience, the food has always been yummy, fresh & served at the proper temperature. You can dine inside or outside. The dining room is very pretty, with an 1800s Victorian/Antebellum theme (soft pastel colors, wrought iron scrollwork), The outside dining area has pretty wrought iron chairs and a view of Rivers of America, New Orleans Square, and the entrance to Adventureland. The lines can be very long, and it can take awhile to find a place to sit, but other than that, Riverbelle Terrace is a great place for breakfast!

This is a great place for breakfast! We love the choices offered and of course, how can you not love those mickey mouse pancakes! Plenty of seats outside but the indoor seating fills quickly on a chilly morning.
We also like to stop by and get dessert here. The refrigerated case usually has lots of options as well as fruit and drinks to choose from.
We really enjoy this place and think you should give it a try!

We love to get breakfast here & sit outside & people watch. The food is always served hot.
$83 was for 8 meals & 9 drinks.

We ate her one busy Friday right before Memorial Day. The line moved SO SLOW. The sandwiches (BBQ pork and turkey) were alright, but a bit dry. Didn't care much for the side dishes. For a counter service place, the prices seem way too high. Now that we've discovered Carnation Cafe (better food, lower prices and table service), we won't return here in the future. Maybe it's better for breakfast?

I'm not a big fan of the various sandwiches here, but I absolutely love the raspberry cheesecake!
