Bengal BBQ used to serve this outrageous lemon/orange swirly frozen soft-serve concoction years ago (think Dole Whip but without the pineapple), and my friends and I would go there JUST for that on a hot summer day. Why Bengal BBQ ever stopped selling it is beyond me. While I love the experience of a sit-down, table service meal at Disneyland, sometimes I need a quick dose of healthy protein without all the side dishes and the bigger price tag. I found the skewers at Bengal to be a good alternative to a full meal...when I just need 'a little something.' I am partial to the Chicken Skewers (I know they have a fancier, jungly name that I cannot recall). The sauce was tangy and flavorful and the chunks of chicken were tasty, and it filled the little hole in my tummy when I knew I needed something smaller than a full meal. Bengal BBQ is great for a light lunch or dinner or snack, but don't expect too many choices on the menu. Also beware that tables can be scarce, and you may be standing around with your skewers for a while. Bengal BBQ is located in a very congested area of Adventureland, so there is no shortage of people watching, but it can almost be overwhelming because the traffic flow in that thoroughfare from Adventureland to New Orleans Square is sometimes daunting.

One of my favorite treats at Disneyland is the bacon wrapped asparagus that you can get at Bengal Barbecue. This is really delicious, and perfect when I want to get a bite to eat, but I don't want anything that is too filling.

Bengal BBQ was super convenient as we needed to wait another 15 mins before our Indy FPs could be used. After eating so many carb filled snacks, we thought a little protein would do us good. The food quality was great. I'd give a higher rating if the skewers were $1.00 or even $.75 cheaper.

This is one of our favorite places to eat. It's healthy and cheap. The meats are always juicy and tender, with the veggie skewars nice and al dente. The sauce on top is sweet, but not overly so, and there isn't alot of it. For health-minded people, this is a very good option.

This is a great place to stop if you don't want the normal burgers/fries or other similar selections. If you are looking for something that is great tasting and not too heavy on the waist line - this would be a great place to stop by. I go here when I want a good protein fix, without feeling guilty. I buy a beef and chicken skewer or I get a yogurt parfait. Prices are: $3.79 chicken, $3.99 beef, $4.99 parfait.

We use this more for snacking but it can be a meal, we always get a mix of all and split between us My fav is the sweet zulu chicken!!!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great skewers and Grilled Bacon Wrapped Asparagus Cons: Kind of Expensive
I am not into eating a bunch of junk food and there are only so many RTD protein shakes one can drink before wanting real food. We were at the park last week and when I saw the beef skewers I had to try it. It was VERY good. I was still hungry and went back for the asparagus. I highly recommend this. Line was not long and the food was ready fairly quickly.
