This is my favorite DVC location right now. The location can't be beat. The DVC rooms are very close to EPCOT and some rooms have a wonderful view of the "Ball" and Illuminations!

My family and I have been members of DVC since 2002 and BCV is our home resort. We simply love this resort. It's location is terrific as you are within walking distance to Epcot, the Studios, and of course the Boardwalk. This property has the best pool on property, hands-down, but it doesn't do Storm Along Bay justice to call it a pool. It is more of a mini-waterpark. You also have a great many dining selections with all of the restaurants at the YC and BC, along with those on the Boardwalk, Swan, Dolphin, and Epcot. There's really something for everyone. We have had good CM and Mousekeeping experience here as well.
I would say that the only 2 negatives of this resort are the limited views and the limited number of rooms.

The Beach Club Villas is one of my favorite resort to stay at. A 5 minute walk from Epcot, the location is outstanding for Fans of Epcot and DHS. A lot of good restaurants and one of the top pools at Disney. Absolutely beautiful property.

I stayed at BCV two years ago. I liked it, but I didn't love it. I really liked the proximity to Epcot, but I felt like the Villas were very isolated from the rest of the property. This really bothered me. Even though Storm Along Bay is the best pool at WDW, I still found myself missing Boardwalk Villas

We stayed at BCV in June 2008. My kids still talk about how much fun they had at SAB. The location is awesome. to be able to watch Fantasmic! or Illuminations and walk back to your resort can't be beat. Walking to the Boardwalk at night is also cool. Cape May Cafe' offers a character breakfast and a clamb bake for dinner. Beaches and Cream is a real Disney gem for burgers and ice cream. BCV is a real family favorite.

the Beach Club villas is our dream resort. Even when we stay elsewhere on our DVC, we always only split it so we can stay at "home" for a little while. We own here because it's just that fantastic.
Not only is the resort beautiful and relaxed. But it's location is just amazing! a 5 minute walk to Epcot ( which is great, not just for park hopping, but just plain dining, World Showcase!!! ). a 15 minute boat ride or 20 minute walk to MGM. And then busses to everywhere else.
Good dining options, since you have easy access to not only Cape May Cafe, but also Yatchsman Steakhouse, Beaches and Cream, Big River Grille, the soon to be Kat Kora's Kouzzina, ESPN as well as World Showcase restaurants!
Then there's Art the Greeter. Nowhere on property will you find someone like him! He's just there to make you have a great day and really seems to LOVE his job there!
Finally, the pool! It's a huge 2 acre sand bottomed pool. It's awesome and again, best on-property!

The Beach Club Villas are a great resort because of the location, great theme, friendliness of the cast members. We want to try other DVC properties, but we don't want to give up the amenities that BCV has to offer. Storm-A-Long Bay is an awesome pool, with something for everyone in the family. If you want relax and float around the lazy river you can, or you have the option to join in on the pool games with the resort staff, or take a few trips down the slide. The whirlpool area our favorite part of the pool. At night we like to head over to the beach and watch a Disney movie on the big screen, while still being able to catch the Illuminations fireworks.

Disney Buses can get full with so many Boardwalk area Resorts that share each bus.
This is my favorite DVC resort.
The prime reason is the access to Storm Along Bay. Give me a pool "noodle" and I am happy to be in the lazy river section for hours. The water in the lazy river ride goes from 3.5 feet to 8 feet deep in sections.
It is only a very short walk to the Beach Club Marketplace from a typical room at the Villas. The Marketplace has enough quick dining options, and it is the easiest place to keep refilling up the resort mug.
At night it is a really incredible short walk to the International Gate of Epcot, where one can watch Illuminations.
There are quite a few dining options along the Boardwalk and nearby Swan and Dolphin, all within a short walking distance.
There is a quick boat ride to Hollywood Studios or EPCOT.
I find I can't wait to leave the Parks and return to the resorts. A favorite location to relax is on a bench swing along the beach area, while watching the Boats go by the Waterway.
This is a very easy resort to use without a rental car.
I wish I was there right now !

We are owners at BCV and can honestly say it was one of the best purchases we've made. We are an Epcot family and the ability to walk there in 5 minutes or less is priceless. We've been more than satisfied with the Cast Members here, from Mousekeeping to Art the Greeter. Any problems we have had have been minor and dealt with quickly. The selections of restaurants is terrific, with the Boardwalk, Swan/Dolphin, World Showcase and Yacht/Beach Clubs and their food options all within a 10 minute walk. The resort complex does lack a decent counter service food option, the Beach Club Marketplace is just okay and Hurricane Hannah's is not our favorite. The pool, Storm-A-Long Bay, can't be beat. It is SO much fun, but is very large for a resort pool, so it can be difficult to keep your eyes on your kids. We have used the quiet pool as well, and it is a nice relaxing option. Views are all fairly boring, but then again, once you've stayed in a Magic Kingdom view at the Contemporary, nothing compares! 
Overall, a great place to stay and someplace we are proud to call "home".

This is a beautiful resort, and I love staying here. We did have one problem with a mattress that had springs sticking me...we called and within 30 minutes had a new mattress. The pool is the best. I don't care to swim in pools, but something about that sand bottom keeps me in there for hours. Love walking the boardwalk and to EPCOT and Disney studios.

Our home DVC resort is Saratoga Springs, but we try to stay at the Beach Club whenever we can. It's a very short walk to both Epcot and DHS. (By "very" I mean less than a mile. Considering all the walking you do in the parks, it's not really that much.) The paths to both parks are very nicely kept and provide lots of beautiful views.
The sand bottom pool is a must for my young children. The zero-depth entry pools at other resorts are nice, but don't provide a lot of entertainment for the little ones. The sand - and a few sand toys from home - are good for hours of entertainment.

We rented points through a DVC member, hence the low price we paid.
Our stay was 10/7-10/11/11. We reserved a studio room (for my mom and me) and requested an upper floor. We arrived via Magical Express at approximately 10am and were greeted with a big "Welcome Home" from several Cast Members. I had done online check in ahead of time, and our room was not ready yet. We were not expecting it to be, but as we had been up since 3am, it would have been nice.
Cast Members: Overall, our experiences with Cast Members throughout the resort were excellent. There was only one grumpy CM, a housekeeper assigned to the seating area outside the Marketplace. Grace at the front desk was particularly friendly and helpful when I lost my park ticket.
Room: At 2:15 we received the text that our room was ready, Villa 321. We had a lovely view of the courtyard between the Beach Club and Villas, and of the Port Cochere. This was a lock off studio, which provided us with a large foyer area. The room was clean and cheery. I slept on the pull out couch and it was comfortable. In comparison to Kidani Village, I liked that this couch was an "all in 1" deal; no cushions needed to be stored elsewhere, the coffee table was easy to move, and there was walking space between the table and couch when it was unfolded. We didn't really use the kitchenette too much, but it was nice to have the fridge. There were no issues with noise, either from the hallway or outside.
Pools: We did not use the Villas pool at all. I went out to use the hot tub one day, but there were already people in it, so I went to Stormalong Bay instead. We really liked SAB, but to me, water is water. We found plenty of available lounge chairs throughout our stay.
Transportation: We experienced no problems with transportation. One afternoon we went to Hollywood Studios and the boat was just pulling up to the dock as we arrived. Coming back from the Magic Kingdom after the Halloween party the bus was waiting, was nearly empty, and went only to the Yacht & Beach Clubs. Going to Downtown Disney the next morning, there was a bit of a wait and the bus was packed full when it did arrive, but everyone got a seat. Coming back from DTD at around 1pm, the bus was there as we walked up. It was not full at all, but did make stops at Pleasure Island, Typhoon Lagoon, the Dolphin and Swan, and the Yacht Club before the Beach Club, and was still continuing on to the Boardwalk. Still, the entire trip took only 45 minutes.
Location: We really enjoyed the location of this resort. We spent two days at Epcot for the Food & Wine Festival and it was nice to just be able to walk over, even in the pouring rain. We planned our days so that we did not have to walk back from Future World in the evenings. We went over to the Boardwalk several times: once to explore, once for breakfast from the bakery, and once to rent a surrey bike, which we took around the lake twice. The boat ride to the Studios was fairly short, and would encourage me to stay again.
Restaurants: We ate at Beaches and Cream for lunch, Cape May Cafe for breakfast and dinner, and the Marketplace for some breakfasts and snacks. We found all of these places to be pleasant, and recommend them all, especially Beaches & Cream.
Public Areas: The Breezeway and the Drawing Room at the villas are lovely areas to rest. Mom took a nap in the Breezeway the first day while we were waiting for our room. We ate lunch in the Solarium on our last day, where it was sunny and peaceful. The villas laundry room on the fourth floor was convenient, if a little chilly. The lobby was busy, but very cheery. We used the locker room and showers at the health club on our last day before departing the resort, and found them to be clean and pleasant.
Overall, I highly recommend this resort. We had no serious issues on our trip, and while it didn't quite have the same "homey" feeling that Kidani Village offers, I would easily stay here again.

BCV is our home resort. Once again, on our visit January 8-13, 2012, we were reminded of why we purchased points here and love BCV so much!
The location to be able to walk easily to Epcot is so nice. We can also walk to DHS but ususally take the boat.
The pools were nice. We spent a lot of time relaxing at the quiet pool this trip. Sunshine in the winter does a body good!
Everything was in working order and clean. While we were there they were shampooing hallway carpets. I also read a lot of remarks about the carpets at BCV and BWV. For such heavily used areas, I think they looked good.
The CMs at the BC/BCV are just wonderful. Helpful and friendly. We talked each day to the CM who cleaned around the pool area. There was also a man painting the sign at the quiet pool. He was friendly and kept to his work--things like that can be awkward but this man did his job well in a public area.
We ate breakfast in the Marketplace and it was huge portions and good food. The CMs there were very helpful when I was looking for a specific item.
All in all, the trip was wonderful and that's highly due to the Beach Club itself and all the CMs who work there.
I cannot wait to go back!

I did not expect to love this resort because Beach club isn't really my style, but we truly enjoyed this location.
We stayed in a dedicated 2 br with 4 adults. The room was well maintained with plenty of room to move around and have our privacy from each other as needed.
The resort was gorgeous. The location is nice to be able to walk to both Epcot and Studios. We ate at the buffet one morning and that was nice as well.
The pool is truly unique. It's my favorite on property for sure.
As a hotel snob, I recommend staying here to anyone.

The Beach Club is FANTASTIC! As a 'younger' married couple with no children, my husband and I LOVE this location and it's direct access to Epcot and The Studios. It makes you feel like you're in a completely different place than WDW at times. You do not have to take the buses to anywhere but Animal Kingdom and DTD because of the Epcot monorail. It is a FAVE spot for us to stay and enjoy 'our' Disney experience!
