Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great tasting food, not frequently crowded Cons: Not much variety
This is one of our favorite spots to stop and get something to eat. It's located on the back-side of Brown Derby, and from what we've heard the food is actually prepared in their kitchen. The sandwiches are big and very good, and they have some of the best desserts on property for a CS restaurant. We've never been disappointed eating here.
The only negatives would be that there menu is quite small and not a lot of choices. Also, all the tables are outside, but covered with umbrellas.

I really enjoy Starring Rolls. I prefer their turkey and ham sandwhiches over the other counter service choices and I like their outdoor seating area. Their sandwhiches are very good, but you can't alter them, get them with no pesto or with cheese ect...they are made up in advance and there are only 3 choices, turkey, ham and vegetarian. I've had the ham and turkey, both were very good, a nice lunch. Their desserts look very good too, but I didn't have any of those, alot more choices for dessert.

This is pretty much your one choice for grab and go breakfast first thing in the morning. We always stop here before touring in the mornings. It's basically a coffee shop.

Foccacia bread sandwiches are hearty and very tasty. There seems to be more dessert selections than sandwiches! The Napolean was yummy too!

We had a great counter service here. Strange hours for the sandwiches though. Fruit tart was out of this world yummy and sandwich was big enough to share. TIP: If its too busy to even get in the door, come back in a few minutes. Its very confusing on the ordering side to the paying side.

If you get an early start, it's a great place to get a pastry and drink. All is fresh and smells wonderful

We had lunch here the second week of May around 12:30. I intended on getting the vegetable sandwich, but they had already run out. The staff weren't very friendly and would leave to go in the back while you were talking to them (they literally left my mom standing there mid-sentence). We both ended up getting sushi, it tasted fresh, but it wasn't what I planned for lunch. My mom got the tiramisu and said it was good. I got the butterfinger cupcake, it was HUGE I ended up eating the whole thing because it was delicious and I didn't want to throw it out. WARNING: I really think you should share that cupcake or eat it between meals as a filling snack.

this is the perfect place to stop for a snack. The sandwiches were lovely and HUGE so you only need to buy 2 between a family of four, saving a lot of money. a lovely place for cakes and even if they dont have what you fancy, its just next door to the villains bakery. Its a lovely place to sit, outside in the shade, and a great place to watch the parade if you want to avoid the embaressment of having to join in. also a great place to hear the screams from the tower of terror (he he)

DH had the turkey sandwich and I had the black forest ham. Both came on delicious bread and were stacked about 4" high with meat, cheese, and toppings that made them delicious. We were on the dining plan, and used this as a quick service meal. It came with a sandwich, chips (or apple if you wanted it instead), and a dessert. The desserts were absolutlely WONDERFUL. It was hard to decide what to select from what was on display. I ended up ordering the grapefruit cake that they serve at the Hollywood Brown Derby (they had to go to the restaurant to get it for me), only to find out that it isn't included with the quick service meal, so I got a fruit tart as my QS selection, and the grapefruit cake too. Everything was delicious. The fruit tart had a pastry shell with chocolate in the bottom, filled with a creamy custard and topped with fresh fruit (blackberries, strawberries, kiwi, raspberries). the only down side was the long lines and the outdoor seating, but when we went, it was nice weather, but I wouldn't want to eat here in June/July when it is really hot.

Recommended! We had lunch here on the dining plan in March 2010. Delicious, generous sandwiches and as other reviewers put it, scrumptious desserts. In fact we took 3 lunch credits instead of 4, and fed 2 adults and 2 kids; we kept the 4th person credit for snacks which we used up the next day actually.
We sat outside and since the weather was good, this was a nice experience. There is no (or hardly any) seating inside if I am not mistaken. That area is right near the sorcerer hat so if any outdoor show is taking place, it's not going to be so quiet.
Still, a great place to eat!

Half of our group liked our meal and half of our group hated their meal. The topping on the turkey sandwich was very disliked and ruined the sandwich for half of our group. The other half of our group liked the pesto and red pepper topping. The meal was huge, on the DDP you got the sandwich, chips, dessert and a drink. The butterfinger cupcake was huge, but didn't live up to all the hype. Almost too sweet. I guess this is one you either love or hate.

We went for coffee and a snack. The small service area was packed shoulder to shoulder so it was impossible to see what was offered. The food was nothing special and then, there was no seating. There are like 5 tables outside but, needless to say, they were taken. I won't be running back.

My bagel was good - we stopped for breakfast in between rides. It is good for a quick breakfast but seating is limited. You really can't screw up a bagel. I have it a 7 purely based on the size. Services was great - everyone was friendly.

We split the butterfinger cupcake based on rave reviews on the Dis. I was sorely disappointed. I'm a dessert person and usually my sweet tooth is insatiable, but this was just too rich and sweet for me. It was also really hard to eat. The frosting is covered in a hard shell that is difficult to break (with teeth or plasticware).

We tried the turkey and ham sandwiches and enjoyed them. They are stacked a little to high with meat but that's alright. The sandwiches are on Foccacia bread and are pre-made so substitutions are not possible, and when they run out they are done for the day so get there earlier if you want something specific. We really liked being able to get a quick service sandwich instead of a burger but the sandwiches were good but not special.
We got a peanut butter cupcake which is definitely to huge for one person to eat. We split it, which wasn't easy because of the very hard chocolate pieces on top and again it was ok but not nearly as good as I hoped it would be.
We would eat here again because of the lack of good choices in Hollywood Studios.
