You have got to make the effort to enjoy this attraction - it is the best! A 3D carnival arcade through the Toy Story characters. Get to the park at opening, grab a fast pass and then get in the queue. I promise you will want to do this more than once.

Toy Story Mania is the must do at DHS for me. We rode it last summer and wished we could just keep going around and around. We hated to get off. Definitely get a FastPass and then jump in line as well. You'll want to do this again!

This is a great ride. The fast pass is the way to go with this one. It surprised us on how much the ride whips you around. Its great fun for the whole family!

This is my favorite attraction at Hollywood Studios. I enjoy walking thru the queue and seeing all the toys I grew up playing and remembering how much fun I had playing with them . Then actually playing a game - not that's awesome...

After all of the positive hype I was excited to try this ride. I already knew the ride would be similar to Men In Black Alien Attack, that's one of my favorite rides at Universal, so I had high expectations.
Needless to say, I was disappointed. MIB is a lot more exciting. Shooting at REAL 3-D things as I go through a REAL 3-D city is a lot more exciting than pulling up to a movie screen is to me. Why these cars are on a track at all is beyond me. It could have just as easily been done with a stationary ride and a movie screen.
Conversely, I think this will be a great game on the Wii.

In my opinion Toy Story Mania is the best attraction I have every been on. I love the 3D aspect of the ride. Plus the line queue theming is so much fun. My family could not get enough of this ride.
The only down side is because it is so new the lines can be long.

This ride is near perfect. The only problem with it is that everyone else knows how much fun it is and thus it's near impossible to get on, especially if you're not there at rope drop. First time we rode it (back in October of '08) we arrived at DHS at 8:30 and rushed with everyone else toward the ride once the park opened and we still had to wait in line for 20 minutes. By the time we got off the ride, the wait time had increased to 90 minutes and the fast pass machines were giving out tickets for after 1pm and the line to get a fast pass was curling past the entrance of Pixar Place. We came back a few days later during an Early Morning EMH hoping the line would be shorter and we'd be able to ride more than once, but at 8:20, the line was already 30 minutes long and by 9:00 when we got off the ride was well over an hour. If you have any interest in riding this ride, you MUST get there early even if it's only to grab a fast pass as I imagine they run out before too long.
The ride itself is so much fun. One of the best things Disney has put out in years. The games are fun even for people who don't excel or enjoy video games (of which I am one) and the 3D graphics are top notch. If lines weren't a factor, this is a ride I could easily ride over and over again for hours without getting bored. I'm an adult and loved it, and I imagine it'd be equally as enjoyable for children. I'm not a big fan of DHS, but this ride is reason enough for me to make a point of visiting the park.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Nearly every age over 2 will enjoy this ride. Cons: Kids will get upset to "lose".
Look, I loved this ride. It's fun and interactive.
However, I find this akin to setting up your Wii in my living room in front of our 62" flat screen. I mean, really, once it comes out on Wii, what WILL be the difference? A neat queue area and fun cars?
This is fun, and great to do WITH FASTPASS, however, I don't need to repeat it to know that I much rather prefer Buzz Lightyear's attraction at the Magic Kingdom.
Great indoor attraction for the AC during hot days though!!

What a great addition to the Hollywood Studios, for that matter the whole Pixar area!
This ride is awesome and will keep you coming back time after time. The queue is very colorful and full of entertaining things to look at including an animatronic Mr. Potato Head!

This is one of the best rides in the parks. There is nothign bad about the ride other than the long line and the tired arms when you are done. There are going to be long lines all day everyday and waiting in line for that long would be worth it. This is one of the only rides I can say that about.

This ride definitely outdoes Buzz Lightyear in the arcade style shooter category but the lines are typically so long that getting fastpasses is critical. I am curious to see if Disney sticks with the "rope-pull" shooting mechanism as the daily wear and tear has got to be huge.

I can see why this is so popular. Pixar characters, interactive 3D game, colorful queue theming, and repeatability. The interactivity might take away from the idea of "sitting back and relaxing," but hey, it's fun.

This is big fun for all ages. You ride in a car and play shooting gallery carnival games - in 3D! Rack up points and try to beat your kids' scores! This is one I could ride over and over again. The theming in the queue line is very cute - Andy's toys super-sized. And Mr. Potato Head talks - worth standing in line for.

An amazing addition to the parks. I've only been able to ride it once, but I got enough of an idea of it to know it is one of my favorites. It was a blast! The technology is amazing and the effects are so much fun. And I love that it is a bit of a "Build Your Own Adventure" ride, where what you do sets up what happens next. I don't know if I could wait in line for two hours to do it, but I understand why someone would.

This is a fun ride for everyone! Disney has outdone themselves with the theming and the overall design. The detail is incredible as usual.
Get to the park for rope drop and make your way to get a fast pass then jump in line. The lne will fill up quickly and then stay long for the rest of the day.
My family had a blast with this one and can't wait to get back and ride it again!

Simply put, this is a must-do attraction. Arrive at rope-drop, grab a FastPass and jump in line. You're guaranteed 2 rides at least and you'll be glad you made the effort to arrive early. This game is a MILLION times better than Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin.

On our last trip in March, 2009, we rode this ride 3 times. We got a fast pass as soon as we arrived at park opening and then immediately got in the standby line. We waited less than 20 minutes. Unfortunately, our vehicle wouldn't tally the final score but we told them when we got off and they let us ride again. (P.S. Don't tell my DH but I WAS winning before the last room.) DH won the second time around which he says proves he was the winner the first time too but I don't agree with that. LOL. Then we used our fast passes and I WON!!!!

I was a little off when I rode this ride, but I still had a good time when I rode it twice in a row. It is a great ride with wonderful 3D and fantastic technology. I also love the cue line, even though I don't love it so much that I would wait 2 hours in it. But still, must do for kids and adults alike.

Toy Story Mania is one of those rare rides that literally transforms the entire layout of Disney's Hollywood Studios. Especially for someone like myself, who is generally not fond of the super thrill rides like Rockin' Roller Coaster or Tower of Terror, TSM provides a reason to stay in the Studios for an entire day. Previously, I would have been hard pressed to justify more than 2/3 of a day. As it stands, Toy Story Mania alone justifies the cost of park admission.
Toy Story Mania is quite possibly the best attraction in all of Walt Disney World, and it is one that I believe Walt Disney himself would have absolutely loved! In designing Disneyland, Walt sought to find a means of entertainment for people of all ages and all dispositions, a goal that this attraction achieves with ease. Frankly, if you don't enjoy Toy Story Mania, then you might need to seek professional assistance in a high quality mental health clinic.

The preshow isn't bad at all! Fun to look around at the "props" and see what you missed last time! ;-) When I'm at the Studios solo, I just ride it over and over and over. Lots of fun, amazingly themed, fun technology! Everyone can have fun, too!

This attraction is a winner on all fronts and is defintely a "not to be missed". Don't be scarred away by the queue line that builds quickly and stays long throughout the day. Sure, you won't know what you're missing if you do pass it by, but you will be missing out on tons of fun.
All ages can participate. It was the favorite attraction of both my 3 year old nephew and my 74 year old mother on our last visit!
Be forewarned. It's very addictive. You will want to experience it more than once.
