Description: Beauty and the Beast- Live on Stage closed 1/7/2013- 1/12/2013
The Theater of the Stars is home to this spectacular 25 minute mini production of the hit movie, "Beauty and the Beast". Guests are able to enjoy the top notch singing, choreography, dancing, sets and the spectacular costumes, in a canopy covered outdoor amphitheater. This is a popular show but don't worry if line-ups are long, the theater holds 1500 people so once the gates open, lines will diminish quickly. For guests with hearing impairments, assistive listening devices may be used here. Keywords: Beauty Beast - Live on Stage

Positive aspects of the product (pros): GREAT show! Cons: Can be crowded, get there early especially for good seats.
As a big fan of Beauty and the Beast I was thrilled the first time we caught this show at Holllywood studios. The music and acting are supurb and the costumes are colorful and fun. My kids absolutely loved the show and so did the adults! They do a nice job of condensing the movie into an entire production.
The only downside is it can be crowded so get there early. We went in the summer and it is an outdoor theatre (covered so it's not in the sun- and they do have fans blowing) but in the summer it can be a bit hot.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Cons: It is outside so even with the fans it can get hot.
The stage shows at Disney are great! I agree about getting there early as the theatre fills up quickly.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great Show, Beautiful Scenery, Very Colorful Cons: Theater fills up fast. Some seats have poor view.
The Beauty and the Beast stage show is really a wonderfully condensed version of the animated feature and it touches on all the best songs from the feature. The scenery is beautiful and the costumes are gorgeous. The scenery changes are seamless as well.
This theater fills up quickly, so I would get there as early as possible for the best seats.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Sit down Cons: Slow
Just an okay show for me, a bit slow. A broadway style production in a fraction of the time. It was okay but I won't rush back to see it.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great Music....and a time to chill Cons: some seating gets the sun
Although this is not my favourite show, its is a good show. As usual you sometimes have to line up to get into the show, and some seats are in the sun, but on the whole a great show and time to chill and take your weight off your feet.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Nicely done, quality show Cons: None
Our first couple trips we bypassed this show to get to the headline attractions. However on subsequent trips we did B&B and really enjoyed it. The cast was fantastic, great voices and true to the story.

This is a great show, they walk though this like you are watching the movie. Get there early as you will not want to miss the opening act!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Broadway Quality Cons: No More 4 for a Dollar!
I love this show. It's been around awhile and I've seen it several times, but I still really enjoy it. The performers, costumes and sets are wonderful.
I really miss the pre-show singers 4 For a Dollar!
They were GREAT and are greatly missed.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Well done Reader's Digest-length show Cons: Crowded and hot
This should be a big hit with Belle and Beast fans, and the show is well done and well performed. The theater is covered, but is still outside and can be both hot and crowded. A cute show, but not something I needed to see more than once.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): beautiful costumes and sets Cons: they have eliminated the a capella group that preceded the show
Even my daughter when the age that she most enjoyed the princesses expressed no interest in repeating this show, but she also did not enjoy the movie as much as other Disney movies. If you enjoyed the movie, you should enjoy the stage show.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Very well done Cons:
Very well done production with as many songs from the movie as you could want. Lots of seating (in March when we went) and you don't need to be in the front row to enjoy this.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Broadway calibre...yes, I saw it on Broadway Cons: none
I just never tire of this show. When I took my 2 year old granddaughter, she kept reaching her little arms out saying, "Cmere Belle". She loved it and she cried when the beast died. I love the dancers, and everything about this show. Yes, it is getting old, but who cares?

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Cons:
Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney movie, and this show is spectacular as well. The quality of the show is fantastic, and I love the costumes! The only thing I dislike is how quickly the story moves and how some parts are left out ("Through a series of strange events Belle ended up at a mysterious castle..."). Definitely see if you can-really no bad seats, even back in the bleachers!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): short enough to keep the attention of little ones Cons:
I see the show every time I am at HS. I like it best after dark because my attention is drawn to only the stage, and not to anyone else around me. It is a Broadway-type show that is short enough to keep the attention of younger children. The costumes are incredible, and the singing is as well. A favorite for the whole family!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Cons:
This is a cute little show! Certainly a must do. The original story is watered down, but it would be tough to have such a long show. The singing is great and the costumes are beautiful. Be sure to check your times guide first thing in the morning to make sure you get in to this show. Also, arrive 45-30 minutes early, or even earlier if you really want an up-close seat, are there during a crowded time, or have a large group.
