A smooth, intense, roller coaster with a lot of great elements. Airtime, an intense launch, lots of drops and turns, very smooth, and music. Families as well as hard-core roller coaster enthusiasts will love this ride.

This is a great coaster. I am a wimp and can't do Splash or Tower of Terror, but if you can do the other mountains in DL give this a try! The flip upside down is very smooth and the launch is great!!!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Best Rollercoaster in DL Cons: the take off
This is the best rollercoaster at the Disneyland Resort. From start to finish it is a total rush. I love the music that plays in the headrest as you go. It really adds to the experience. It only has one loop so even the riders who do not have much experience with this type of ride can make it through.
The only negative in my book is the sudden take off. You feel like you can't breath it takes off so fast. After several rides though I got over it. I love this ride!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Long ride, start is awesome! Cons: Lines can be long (use fastpass)
The launch is exhilarating, as is going up and over the first hill. After that, it's a fairly mild ride through Paradise Pier. The loop is also fun, and the music adds to the experience. Lines can get long - use fastpass or the single rider option.

I have to give this a 10 - its a very fun ride with a great launch. It's also not really that intense of a roller coaster, so those who are a little afraid of thrill rides should go ahead and try it.

I LOVE this coaster. It's smooth and fast and gives you a good long ride for the wait. The music is fun and nostalgic, and the views of the park are fabulous. The ride launches much like Rock-n-Roller coaster at WDW, only you're outside and you don't go straight into the loop. It has just one inversion, but it's a good one.
As an aside, my 6'4" father said it's one of the few coasters he's ever been comfortable on - plenty of leg room and no major jerking.
The negative rap on this one is that it lacks a true story, but I think it fits well into the "boardwalk" concept and for me it's a must-do.

This was probably our favorite overall ride during our week long DL visit. Rode it six times.
The thing we enjoyed most about it was the smooth ride. It does have banks and turns to it, but there's no herky-jerky whiplash inducing jolts to it.
While I still give it a 10, there are two knocks against it. First, the fast pass gives out too many, especially early on. Riding around ten in the morning, the returning fast pass queue would get pretty jammed with people and it throws off the stand by wait time. We went into the standy line with a 20 minute wait posted. It was closer to 50 minutes by the time we made it through. Went better in the afternoons.
If you do ride in the afternoon, you are going to get a face full of direct sun while waiting for the launch countdown. Definitely better early in the morning.

Hands down, my favorite Disney coaster! We love Rockin Rollercoaster and Expedition Everest, but this one still holds the crown for me. The launch is exhilarating, and the ride is nice and LONG!
And I love the single rider and FP options!
