Dh and I love to escape the crowds and enjoy watching the bats, tigers, and several other animals. The exhibit has changed slightly over the years. The staff are excellent in their knowledge of the animals.

The Trek provides a nice respite from the crowd and seems a little cooler than the rest of the park. This area is generally not crowded, and affords an opportunity to take pictures.
The biggest drawback I saw was the lack of castmembers able to describe the different unique areas of the exhibit. Occasionally we stumbled on signs or handouts, but invariably we just wandered around. I think we probably missed key aspects because we did not know what we were looking at.

This is more or less a trip to an Indian zoo, set however in more of a native Indian landscape. It is interesting the first time through if you just want to slow down and do a pumped up zoo tour of things like Bengal tigers, a bat house, and a bird sanctuary.

We always spend a long time walking the trails and taking pictures. If you are lucky, you can witness some amazing behaviors. In particular, the ape exhibit can be eyeopening. Also, if the tigers are playful, you'll be in for a good show.

My favorite of the two trails, I love this one enough to go through twice in one visit. I love visiting zoos in general, and these trails are like visiting the best designed zoo ever. I was continually awed by the theming of the trail and took lots of pictures of the faux-aged Hindu frescoes that adorned a lot of the structures. The real highlight of the trail are the tigers. Unlike many zoos that may have 1 or 2, I counted 6 on the trail and the viewing areas made it easy to watch these guys. I love tigers and could spend hours observing them so this was a real treat. They also seemed more active than a lot of tigers I've seen at other zoos so that was nice too. One of the highlights of the Animal Kingdom experience for me, but I realize that it might be a bit boring for those who are less geeky about their zoos than I am. My only complaint is that the enclosures aren't clearly marked and guides aren't always easy to find, so sometimes it can be difficult to identify the animals you're looking at!

This is another great way to see the aniamls at your own pace. It does get very hot an humid with all of the foilage. This is a hilly park.

If you enjoy viewing animals then you will enjoy this ride. Can be a lot of walking for some but worth the walk to view all the different animals.

My husband and I love the two walking trails. This is a great way to see the animals because you can go at your own pace and can stop and watch if you want (unlike the safari ride). Cast members have alway been great at answering questions.

A walking tour along which many animals can be seen, but the tigers usually draw the biggest crowds. During the Florida heat, all the animals may not be very active.

The is a nice change, but the walk-through nature of the exhibits can make it tiring or difficult when jockeying among the crowds. The tigers here are the highlight, but the bats are fun to watch, too.

The themeing and detail of these trails is exquisite. You'll want to spend the most time at the tigers, as they are the big draw here. Note - there is a bat exhibit that you can skip if you're like me -- and dislike those miserable little bats.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): One of the coolest (in terms of temperature) areas in the park. Beautiful theming. Cons: Avoid the bat enclosure if they bother you (although it is very easy to avoid)
A gorgeously themed walkthrough. Try visiting early in the morning or shortly before it closes to see the tigers being more active. They're still very cute during the heat of the day when they're sleeping.

I love the walkthroughs because you get to move at your pace. My favorite part was the tiger habitat. A tiger was pacing back and forth in front of the glass seperating it from the guests leading to excellent photo ops.
passed up on the bat cages because i have a fear of bats.
There was some kind of colorful bird that was walking down the middle of the path just inches from guests.

This attraction was just okay. We searched for the Kimodo Dragon, but did not see any. We did watch the Malayan Tapir for a bit. Bat area was skipped. When we got to the tiger area, they all seemed to be hiding, and it was kind of crowded with other people anyway.
