We went on this as a family to escape the heat in June. We weren't very excited about it because we have ridden similar rides at our local theme park and it is "just o.k.". This ride was awesome! We loved the theming from start to finish, and had fun laughing at one another as we each got drenched. You will get SOAKED! I liked how they had the area in the middle to put your belongings to keep them dry.
We did use a fast pass for the ride but rode it again later in the day and the line moved quickly. Great ride, especially on a hot day!

Is an OK ride, and a nice opportunity to get slightly wet, although not the best rapid ride in Orlando (Thats at IoA)

It seems every time I ride this attraction that I am the only one in the boat that gets drenched. But overall I do enjoy this attraction. It's especially fun on a hot day.

We enjoy the Kali River Rapids but are diappointed that it is so short. We like to ride together, and it is a lot of fun to see your family members get SOAKED.
The theming for this ride is good, but I would suggest a Fast Pass as it is not worth a long wait. I also suggest riding at the end of the day as you will get very wet, and it is no fun to walk around soggy for hours.

My son and I rode Kali and did not like it. The ride was too short. Kennywoods rapid ride is better than this....Disney could have done better on this ride.

A standard park fare, with a little Disney magic and storyline to take it up a notch. Go if you are willing to walk around wet for the day, or as the last ride before you head back to the hotel.

A pretty standard raft ride that can be found in many smaller amusement parks across the country, but the theming of Kali River Rapids makes it special. I was very impressed with all the detail both in the queuing areas and on the ride. It's a very wet ride, which can be very refreshing on hot days but even in the dead of August I'm not sure I ever like walking around with wet socks and shoes! I think I'd enjoy it more if the splashing was contained from the waist up like on Splash Mountain, but the open round raft means you might find yourself soaked head to toe!

I've riden rides similar to Kali in the past and while we enjoy it...it actually isn't near as long or enjoyable as others like it.

Only ride this attraction if you are okay walking around soaking wet for the rest of the day... you will get wet and in some cases very wet. We rode this once in February and was so uncomfortable and cold we had to go back to the resort and change.

Although this ride exists in one form or another in many theme parks the world over, this one by far has the best theme, and it should!
While this ride is rather quick, it's worth a visit on a nice hot Florida day and is almost sure to get you wet. I love the climb up through the bamboo forest, it really sets a mood.

Fun ride if you like getting wet. Just like any of the tubular raft rides at any local theme park but with more themeing.
However, if you don't like smelling like musty water for the rest of the day then you might want to stay away from this one.

This is the shortest water ride I have been on other than the one at our state fair where you go up a hill and then go down the drop. The theming is nice but the ride is so short you can't get the whole story. They could have done so much more. I would not wait in line for this ride. I would say if you want to ride it use a fastpass but in my opinion a fastpass would be much better used at any of the other rides in the park.

I like the overall look of the attraction, although a bit heavy handed on the conservation message. Last time I went though, I got completely drenched. That could be a good OR a bad thing. Hey, it's a water ride, what did I expect?

I love rapids rides, and I think this one is far better than the one at Busch Gardens. The theming is fantastic, and getting wet is always nice on a very hot day. However, I am one of those people who hates being wet while walking around. It can get a little uncomfortable.

Extremely fun, and a great way to cool down on a hot day. The que is VERY long however and the theme of cutting down rainforests is a bit convoluted and abrupt. I don't think many people pay enough attention to a story in a ride like that.

While everyone gets a little wet, those people sitting on the leading edge at the one major drop will get soaked. Dress accordingly and/or bring a change of clothes. On a hot day, it feels wonderful. Frequently, at the end of the day you can ride it several times in a row with little wait, which compensates somewhat for the brevity of the ride.

I went on this ride for the first time last June, and I was very impressed. In fact, I was so impressed that I went on two more times after that! This nicely themed raft ride provides riders with an easy way to cool off, and get completely soaked. However, the ride is rather short, which is disappointing because it is quite an enjoyable experience. I would recommend this to anyone, but its length and chance of getting you soaked are much less than on Splash Mountain.

YOU WILL GET WET!!! Yes, yes, yes. Don't carry expensive electronics on your person on this ride. Leave them with someone or secure them wrapped in a poncho in the center area of the raft. Wear a poncho if you like, but if you are "that seat" (which is random) it probably won't help. You may get a little wet, or you could be that guys who is dripping from top to bottom at the end. We try to bring an extra shirt just in case. The conservation story line is nice, but depressing and will probably go over the heads of some. I think they missed an opportunity to showcase some of the animals as you ride through the park here.

You will not get wet; you will get SOAKED. And if that is what you are aiming for - then this is the ride for you. Don't take anything on this ride you don't want ruined.

I was a little disappointed on this ride. At California Adventure there is a very similar ride called Grizzly River Run. You will get wet on GRR. I hoped this ride would be the same. You do get kinda wet on Kali but the ride ended much sooner than GRR. Still a decent water ride.

We enjoy the ride, but since we don't like being wet all day, we put everything of value into zipper bags and put on a poncho. We still get a little wet, but not so much that you are uncomfortable.

This is a good ride, but a bit of a letdown for our family. This sort of ride should've been a slamdunk for Disney, but it was a huge disappointment to us that the ride was so, so short. Not worth waiting for if there is a long wait time. Good, but not great.

We love this ride. We try to do it just before we are leaving the park as then we can change upon returning to our hotel. On a hot day it does feel good. On cooler day's when the lines aren't long we've gone 3 or 4 times back to back. As long as we were already soaked..... I little trick to is to pack dry clothes to change into ,especially the undergarments and shorts,at least the layer closest to you is dry.
