Positive aspects of the product (pros):
a great place to find a bit of everything~
Cons:
at meal times can be crowded due to counter service food area
I really like the Marketplace at the Beach Club! I have now stayed there 3 times and have frequented the Marketplace almost every day of my stays there. I like how it is set up by "department". It's a pretty large store, easy to find things. If you walk in the side entrance (by the main lobby) you walk into the area for clothing. They have Beach Club decorated items, as well as DVC stuff. Lots of shirts, towels, bathing suits, luggage, luggage tags, cups, keychains, pajamas, etc. Also in this section is the package pick-up and video rental. You can also ship your packages home in this area. We have done this a few times and they always pack things very securely and the price is great!
When you walk out of this section into the larger area, you will find racks of pins, jewelry, photo albums, mugs, plush animals, hats, shoes, etc. A good selection of items, prices you would see at DD or the parks.
At the far end of the store is the food items. There is a wall of refrigerator cases where you can get items if you are staying in the villas. Waffles, milk, eggs, bacon, salads, yogurt, drinks, frozen pizzas, etc. There are also food items on shelves. Bags of bagels, bread, donuts, etc. Also back there is the refillable mug station! And a huge wall of Disney mugs and the Disney kitchen line of items. Of course there are lots of candy items - most Disney themed
There is also counter service in the Marketplace. You can get the delicious gelato here in many flavors. With a sample to try each flavor! Items here are available as Dining Plan options. They have great lunch sandwiches and build-your-own salads. They also have hot breakfast sandwiches available. On the side of the counter they have soups available - and they are hot and delicious! There are condiments, silverware, and a microwave available at this section. In addition, other food items such as boxes of cereal, jelly, cleaning products, laundry detergent, shampoo, etc. for purchase. Along the wall by the cashier are drug store type items. Band aids, cortisone cream, sunscreen, eyeglass kits, feminine and baby products.
I am sure there are some things I missed, but I really feel this is a great shopping option when at this resort. Some things are obviously going to cost more than when at home - but it's there when you need it. I also like that it is in the main lobby/building area, so very easy to get to from the regular rooms and a very short walk from the main door of the villas.

Positive aspects of the product (pros):
Cons:
We stayed at the Beach Club Villas so were at this store quite often!
Our first day upon our arrival we immediately went to purchase the refillable mugs. However, throughout the five days we were there we were disappointed to find several of the drinks (including hot chocolate and the gold peak tea) to be nothing other than water.
We purchased several snacks from the store as well, including various bags of Chip & Dale's Snack Co. items.
Food items we bought were the lemon and cranberry scone, cheesecake, cheese omelet croissant, blueberry muffin, french toast sticks, and a fruit cup. All the food was very good.
Cast members at this store were very friendly. Only minor complaints are that the store is indeed cramped even when it isn't crowded, and that it is difficult to find a tray to carry the food, and the ones that can be found are very tiny.
